I still remember when i first met Jimmy.



I was in the park, It had a basketball court where a bunch of guys were playing. They all didn't seem the basketball type, i mean they looked like real hard rockers.

I was quietly reading my book when i heard.

''Haha! short shit loses again!'' By a deep male voice shouted, I think the world shook slightly as he bellowed. I peered up from my book to take a look at him. The man was extremely tall, very lanky. He had the middle of his lip pierced and glasses. He also had black hair with short layers and a fringe. He was very attractive to say the least.

''No fucking fair! You're a fucking giant!'' A very small man exclaimed, he was the smallest of them all. He had bleached blonde hair with black patches. He seemed the victim to all of their humour and admittedly much to mine also.

I chuckled slightly at their conversation, they were now rowing about height and the other's were making comments about getting Johnny, the small one, stilts so he can play with them. One peered over and I instantly looked down at my book and tried to make it look like I was oblivious to the world. I then heard a lot of whispering and felt thundering footsteps coming towards me. I froze in my spot, getting ready to be interrogated as to why I was so interested in their business but instead the incredibly tall man sat next to me with a beaming grin. I peered up from my book once more and gave him questioning eyes.

''I'm Jimmy!'' He smiled, his perfect blue eyes searching my face.

''Aurora'' I smiled back, he put his hand out for me to shake it and as soon as I took it he vigorously shook it. I honestly thought my arm was going to fly off at any second.

''You have a really pretty name, it reminds me of roses and rainbows and unicorns!'' He stated. I giggled at him, my cheeks turning bright red. ''Awh don't get shy with me Aurora!'' He put his arm around me and pulled me into a hug.

I don't know what came over me, it had never happened before. I sank into the hug, making it last for as long as i could. He smelled strongly of sweet vanilla, I could sit and indulge in his scent forever. I felt safe, very safe, like nothing could harm me ever again as long as i stayed in his arms. In his long muscular arms. He wasn't incredibly built like his friends, hell they could poke me in the arm and it'd break. But he was just... perfect.

He had invited me to go back to his friends house with him after introducing me to them. He first introduced me to Johnny, the small one. Then to Brian, he was built, very muscular. He had black hair that was spiked up and a smirk that could make you melt on the spot. Then to Matt, he had a warm welcoming smile and the most adorable dimples ever. His eyes were a golden shade of hazel, they were warm and inviting although his muscles were extremely intimidating. And then to Zacky, he had piercing green eyes, enough to make anyone swoon over him. He was a little bit chubbier than the rest, but he was still muscular.

As we arrived at his friends house i was astonished. I thought my apartment complex was big, Matt's house was huge. When we got inside we were greeted by a friendly female voice, I trailed behind Jimmy so I don't think she saw me at first.

''Hey baby'' She smiled lovingly at Matt and kissed him sweetly on the lips. I smiled, not because I was creepy, but because I was jealous of what that had. I'd never had anything like that. I'd never had... anything. My home life was appauling, my father always drinking and gambling. And my mother a home alcoholic. I was the only child left. Fuck, social services had taken the others away. I had a brother and a sister who were stolen away from me, never to be in contact with ever again. I was beaten until I couldn't breathe. My mother would mock me and say I will never be what she was. She was a broken down model. She had a problem with heroin when she was just 19 her modelling career lasted for 10 years before they noticed she was wasting away. I moved as soon as i turned 18 and I havn't spoken to them since. At the tender age of 24 my independence is sky high and I'd never go back.

I was finally greeted by the small blonde.

''Oh, Jimmy, have you brought me a new friend?'' She chuckled. ''Hey honey I'm Val'' She smiled.

''Aurora.'' I said shyly, I had always been intimidated by other girls. It was a confidence thing, I'd feel that as soon as i was out of hearing distance they'd constantly bitch about me to anyone who'd listen. But Val seemed like a true person and suddenly someone identical to her but had brown hair came through the door. Greeting Brian with a smile and a kiss.


''Oh we have a new guest!'' She said excited.


''Michelle this is Aurora.'' Val said. I smiled, again shyly. The two girls seemed very friendly, offering me anything they could at any possible chance. I finally took the offer of having a beer with the rest of them and we all got talking. I was sat next to Jimmy on the couch, his hand slowly nearing mine. In the end I just laced my fingers with his long ones. He smiled widely at me looking slightly shocked. I just smiled sweetly back at him.


''So, Aurora, where are you from?'' Michelle asked while stroking Brians leg. It made me slightly uncomfortable that they were teasing each other and trying to make conversation with me.

''Uh, just a few blocks from here.'' I smiled back, still unsure about the teasing situation.


''You get used to it, they're always like that'' Jimmy whispered in my ear. I giggled lightly and carried on the conversation.

A lot more beers and hours later we were all wasted. Me and Jimmy had been hitting it off incredibly well. Considering I was extremely shy it was a big change. He made me feel welcome, comforted, listened to... wanted.

''I want to show you something.'' He whispered as he took my hand and led me out the room.

''Show me what?!'' I giggled, stumbling ever so slightly as I tried to walk but Jimmy caught me. He stopped in the hallway, away from everyone. He stared deeply into my eyes, our faces inches apart. He caressed my face lightly with his hand before slipping it under my chin. He smiled softly, his eyes never leaving my face. We were both breathing heavily. He brought my face closer, our lips about to touch.


''Ooh! Someone's getting some tonight!'' Brian sniggered as he interupted. I blushed violently. Jimmy scowled at him and told him to fuck off.

''I should leave.'' I said, scurrying to get my bag. Jimmy grabbed my hand.

''Please stay'' He begged, looking at me with pleasing eyes.

''I don't want you or your friends to get the wrong idea about me, so I'm putting it right.'' he look in his eyes saddened.

''You think that's all I want you for?'' He asked, he was very serious sincerity clouding his face. I just looked up at him, his blue eyes sparkling. ''I like you Aurora, I wouldn't do that to you.'' He smiled a sweet smile. I smiled back, taking his face in my hands gently and pulling him towards me and there it was, that feeling, the tingling that started in my lips and spread through my whole body. It ran through my veins. He tasted of strawberries, my favourite. God knows how a man who drinks so much beer he pukes and then starts all over again could taste so strongly of strawberries. Even after our lips parted the electric tingling was still pumping through me. I couldn't describe the feelings I was having for this man.
