Katie’s P.O.V.
We were at the building they had asked us to be on the website and just being here made me and Ruby even more nervous. I was so thankful for what Ruby had done but then again, I wanted to kill her. I know that it was going to be hard to actually see us in the music video but I just hoped to God that when we were watching the music video when it is finally released, that I won’t find myself doing something really stupid.
Ruby and I waited outside of the building, my heart was starting to go faster and faster in my chest, sweat came out of my palms which made me wipe them on my pants and I looked over to Ruby who was deep in thought with a frown on her face. I tolled my eyes and put my arm over her shoulders.
“We’re going to make it,” I chuckled. She looked to me and gave me a smile and I kissed the top of her head. When we finally got inside we went to the crowd of people seeing them covered in black paint and black clothes. Ruby thought that it was coolest thing on the planet, I was just in it to see Brian.
“Alright, may you girls change into these black clothes?” This pretty girl asked us. I smiled at her and we grabbed the clothes and she showed us to a dressing room. I was starting to get really nervous being here. I know that we were going to be in all black but still, what if I did something stupid? Like falling, which I was very capable of. I sighed, getting the shirt off and getting on the black clothes that I needed to get on. Of course though, my mind running around in circles about me falling, I was trying to get my shorts on and my foot got stuck getting them inside and then I fell out of the curtain and right onto someone knocking them down.
We landed on the floor, the air getting knocked out of his lungs.
“Son of a,” He said. I looked up from his chest, seeing that it was none other than Synyster Gates. My eyes grew wide and I looked to see where my hands were and they were on his strong chest. Oh my God! Out of all of this, this had to happen! Oh God, he was going to hate me for sure!
“I … I…” I couldn’t even speak! I was talking like a mumbling fool! This was the worst first impression that I have ever done with someone. How can I have done something so embarrassing like this?!
“Sissy!” I looked over to Ruby who was in her black shirt since she didn’t need the pants and she had this smirk on her face while my face stayed bright red. I can’t believe this just happened to me. She came and helped me up and I quickly got my shorts on, I can’t believe I was standing in front of Synyster Gates in my underwear, this was the worst day of my life.
“Are you alright?” Ruby asked him. She looked calmed as ever! Like nothing just happened or anything! I can’t believe her!
“Yeah,” He chuckled. He got to his feet and brushed himself off. His hair and make up done to perfection. He looked at me and I couldn’t even look at him without feeling humiliation. “See you two out there,” he said and left the changing rooms. That’s when Ruby busted out laughing, which of course only made me feel worse. It was an honest mistake and it was his fault for being there.
“I can’t believe that just happened,” She laughed, wiping the tears off of her eyes from laughing so hard. I glared at her, if this happened to her I would of helped her and told her everything would be alright since she probably would of cried her eyes out or went into her shell that she had. I rolled my eyes and brushed passed her, more like bumping passed her angrily and went to the make up room.
The ladies were really sweet and they made me laugh at some of the jokes that they had, just trying to make everyone feel comfortable. There was all fans here, not much but there was dedicated fans here that were going to meet Avenged and be in a music video for free, what kind of opportunity like this would someone pass it up?
I was now finished, the make up on my body and I looked in the mirror and laughed at myself. My once red hair was now black as Ruby’s heart, I know it was cruel but I swear there are times where her heart was black, and my body look liked someone threw me in a pile of coal.
“Hey sissy,” Ruby said to me. I ignored her though, I know that it was wrong but having her laugh in my face was more wrong then ignoring her, to my point and standards that is. I was going to ignore her for as long as I want, or at least till I cooled down. I was embarrassed and now, this whole meet and greet that I had planned in my head was over. I was finished and I knew that this little fantasy that I had in my head was over with. I just wished I wasn’t such a or none of this would of happened and my best friend, the one that I called sister, wouldn’t have laughed in my face.
Synyster’s P.O.V.
I couldn’t get the thought of that girl on top of me out of my head. It was funny that it happened but it seemed kind of like a miracle and I didn’t know why. I knew that there was something about her that just striked me. Then seeing her blushing like crazy and her hands on my chest sent my heart into over drive. Then she got up and I saw her pretty little underwear and that sent my head spinning. I had so many good and weird thoughts about that girl that I had to calm myself before I went to my friends and get ready for the music video.
I was excited about having the fans in the music video with us, it was going to make it more lively and more exciting to watch it. I think it was perfect and besides, when do you ever get to be in a music video and meet the band all for free? For the fans that’s a once in a chance life time and for me, it’s an opportunity to have someone to party with.
“Hey you ready?” My best friend jimmy asked me as I got the strap on my guitar and tuned it up.
“Yeah man,” I said with a smile on my face. He came and patted my shoulder before going back and sitting behind his kit. I felt bad for my friend, he was going through a sick divorce from a girl that was using him the whole time and he gave her his heart and the chick totally messed him up.
“Hey Jimmy,” I whirled around and looked at me friend who was spinning his sticks waiting for us.
“Hm?”
“Why don’t we got and party tonight? I mean there is some fine looking girls that came here, I’m sure one of them would die and go with you,” I told him. He laughed and looked at me with a straight face again and shook his head.
“I don’t know, I’ll think about it,” He told me, I nodded, turning around seeing the fans on the stands, the producer ready for us to go and that girl that fell on top of me looking right at me. I winked and she blushed and we got on with the music video, the whole time looking towards her.
