(Brian's POV)

"Brian, You might in the room. I'll be here." Zack said taking a seat in the waiting room on this floor. I looked confused at him but nodded and walked to the room. Was she awake? I didn't know. I stopped at the door and sure enough Rose Baker was sitting there. Rubbing her eyes. Awake. My heart stopped. Rose. Jesus Rose. "Way to go, Rose. Almost got killed. Scared your family, what a way to show up at home again." She mummbled while still rubbing her eyes. You don't say. I thought to myself.
"I'll say. Deffentily got me. I thought I was being prank called." I said. Bluntly. She dropped her hands from her eyes and looked at me. Well in my direction. Her eyes must have adjusted cause I took another step in and her eyes got wide.

(Rose POV)
Brian. Oh dear god. No, nononono. This wasn't how I wanted to see him again. "You might want to calm down or the nurse will think your having a heart attack." He said in the voice I hadn't heard in years. Missed his voice. His voice. I blushed and looked up at the computer screen. It was weird how a machine knew more about my heart then I did. The beep of my heart slowed down a little. "You really did do it for yourself though. Showing up here after six years." he said. He counted the years? "Then you get in a car crash and they found my number. Imagine getting that call." He said in a tone I couldn't quite reconize. His brown eyes pierced mine. "Not going to talk now?" He asked. Seeming a little annoyed.
"I-I-I Don't know w-what to sa-say." I studdered, scared out of my mind. How was I soupossed to know what to say?! My ex-boyfriend from six years ago that I've had no contact with walks in my room and acts like nothing happened.
"Okay. Then i'll ask some questions." Here we go. I thought while he paused. "Why did you have my number on you? They called and said you had my number. Out of all people. Mine? Not your brother's. Not Matt's, or Jimmy's, Johnny's. Mine." He finished. I looked down at my hands.
"I -uh- I wanted to call you on the ride there. I didn't think you changed your number but I didn't know. I guess I was right."
"But, you never called me." He said, sighing. I looked back up at him in shock. He didn't get it.
"What was I soupossed to say? 'Hey it's Rose Baker your ex-girlfriend who left at 17 and I'm coming home.' I didn't call cause I thought you didnt want to talk to me either. " I said kind of harshly. He shifted and looked at me.
"I've been wondering if you were still alive for the past six years." He shoved his hands in his pockets. "So has everyone else. I've been wanting to talk to ever since the last time I saw you." He said in a soft voice. "Everyone freaked out. Everyone misses you. Everyone wants to talk to you again."
"I couldn't just call and pop up out of no where." I said raising my voice I little louder.
"You would have anyways!" He almost yelled. I looked away as he closed his eyes and gathered himself. "Look. You just woke up and i'm not trying to stress you out. I'm sorry I just wanted to know how they got my number. I'll see you later." He opened his eyes. "I know we have a lot to talk about but... Rose, I'm glad your back.." He turned and left the room.
"Son of a!" I put my hand on my face and stopped.
