(Rose's POV)
"Her condition is good, She should be awake today. However, Ms.Baker, If she does wake up today she'll still be held here for another day to check her condition." A male voice said. Ms.Baker? God, I must be dreaming.
"Thank you doctor." A woman said. I heard footsteps leave and a sigh.
"Hey, mom. She good?" Another male voice asked.
"Yes, she's good." The womans voice sounded sad. Their conversation carried on. The entire time there was this annoying beeping sound in the backround. Just the same pitch over and over and over again.
But, What would be beeping? Let's see Rose. Think. Your dreaming so think to when you were awake. What was the last thing? I asked myself. I was in a car. Was something beeping? No. It was raining. Wait. The rain. I was in the car. To Huntington Beach. I was hit. The car crash! How could I forget it! Oh stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
Of course. I was in a car crash and was in the hospital. "Mom, I think she's waking up." That male voice said again. Mom? Ms.Baker. My mom. My mom was here. Wait, the voice said mom. Oh god. Zacky's here too. I opened my eyes, well fluttered. Just like those movies. The light made my head hurt and I squinted.
"Rose?" My mother said. A woman came into veiw. Yep, That was my mom.
"Mom." I said. My throat didn't like that. It was dry, and it hurt to talk. Something laid under my nose.
"Oh sweetie. Don't talk. Are you okay? How do you feel?" She asked. She just told me to not talk. How was I supossed to answer.
I tilted my hand from side to side.
"Well," A male voice sounded. "Considering your hit. That's good." Zacky was standing at the end of my bed with a smirk on his face. I smiled at him. Alwaying finding the bright side. My mom grabbed my hand.
"I'll go tell the nurse -doctor- whatever he is that you woke up." She said. Her thumb glidded over my hand and she walked out the room. Zacky walked over to her spot.
"You gave me a hell of a scare there, Rose." he said, his voice flat. "And, the other people that know." He tralled off.
"I'm so-" I couldn't finish before I went into a coughing fit. He handed me a small paper cup of water. it coated my throat. "I'm sorry." I tried again. "I didn't plan on it raining or, getting into a car crash." My voice sounded better but still a little horse.
"Don't worry about it. Were just glad your okay and not dead or something but your pretty beat up." He looked over me. I looked down to see my right foot in a royal blue cast.
"That's fantastic." I muttered. My arms were covered in bruises and little white bandaids. My uper arm had a stich on it. "That scar will be fantastic too." I sighed. "Anyways, Who else knows i'm here? Everyone?" I asked. Somewhat worried.
"No. No where near everyone."
"Then who?"
"Uh. I think you should find that out yourself." He trailed off again. "I'll go get them." He said and walked out the room. My heart beat got faster. How could I tell? The wire attached to my chest told me. I picked up my hand and pushed my oily hair out of my face. My finger hit a wire. I looked at the black screen on the tv. Yep. Right there above my eyebrow was a thin wire keeping my skin together.
I rubbed my eyes "Way to go, Rose. Almost got killed. Scared your family, what a way to show up at home again." I muttered to myself. I moved my hands to my lap again.
"I'll say. Deffentily got me. I thought I was being prank called." A male voice said. I looked at the door way it came from. And standing there was Brian. Fuck me.
