I don’t know how to feel anymore. He was the most confusing person I had ever met in my life. He was sweet and kind to me one minute and the next he was holding me down, attacking my throat. He was very kind when he wanted to be but I could tell it was very hard for him. He did cook for me but I think it was only because he wanted me to be full of energy just so he wouldn’t kill me when he drank my blood. Which was a little sick…I thought. But then I couldn’t get enough of him. He must have some sort of control over me that I didn’t realize. The way he looked at me made me want to melt but at the same time, I was very afraid of him. He was strong. I think he could break me in half if he wanted. For some reason he hadn’t killed me yet. I didn’t understand it. Sure, he told me I was his and that he was pretty much using me for my blood. And I know he wanted…all of me. But there was something deeper there I didn’t quite understand yet. Who knows if I ever would. He could leave me and never come back for all I knew. I thought he would have had enough of me by now but he stays.

I sat up and leaned against the head up. I held my neck where he had just drank and winced.
“Leave it alone. It needs to breathe.” He ordered, standing up.
My hand fell and I sighed.
“Stop being a mean ass.” I said boldly.
He raised an eyebrow, pulling on his shirt.
“What did you say?”
“I SAID…stop being a mean ass.” I said loudly, standing up.
“And what makes you think you can order ME around?”
I stood there was a second and he crossed the room to me.
“Hmm? I’m waiting.”
“You don’t have to be mean to me…”
“You think I’m being mean to you? Honey, you have no idea how ruthless I could be to you.” He explained, glaring at me.
He took my wrists harshly in his hands and held me there in my spot.
“The…then why haven’t you killed me yet?” I stuttered.
His eyes softened a little and he let my wrists go.
“Come on. We’re going to my house.”
I sighed and changed out of my pajamas. I don’t know how it got dark so fast. I thought it was still the morning.
“I thought you said it was only around 6?”
I shut the door behind me and tried to catch up to him.
“It was 6 in the evening.”
“I slept that long?”
He said nothing climbing into his car. I rolled my eyes and got it.
We pulled into his driveway and I noticed other cars in the driveway I didn’t recognize.
“Who is that?
He was silent.
“Why can’t you ever answer me when I ask you something?” I exclaimed.
“Shh. Stay in the car.” He demanded.
He shut the engine off and walked into the house.
I looked at the clock on the dash. It had been 20 minutes and I was getting antsy.
Should I? I wondered.
I should.
I opened my door and made my way to the house. I didn’t hear anything when I stepped up to the front door. It was too thick.
I gently opened the door and I heard talking cease.
“I thought I told you to stay in the car?” Brian asked, angrily.
“I’m sorry. I got antsy.” I explained.
He sighed heavily and I followed him into the den where four men stood. One I recognized. Matt. The other three, I had no idea who they were.
“Hi, Cat.” Matt smiled.
I waved lightly.
“Aren’t you going to introduce us?” One of them smiled, walking towards me.
Brian rolled his eyes.
“Cat, this is Zack.”
“Hi.”
“Hello, nice to meet you.” He grinned, taking my hand and placing a light kiss on it.
Who did that anymore? I giggled to myself.
Zack was around the same height as Brian. He has dark hair and striking green eyes.
“Nice to meet you too.”
“Forgive him, he’s a fucking flirt.” Brian said to me.
I giggled.
“And this is Johnny and Jimmy.”
They nodded in my direction.
“So what are going to do?” Johnny asked.
“I don’t know.” Brian replied.
“We can’t let this happen.”
“Well it was going to happen sooner or later. We just have to get this over with.” Matt said.
“I’m not doing this!” Brian exclaimed.
“Why can’t they just leave us alone?”
“Because it’s not that easy. They want our services and we have to do this whether we like it or not.”
Brian rolled his eyes.
“Umm, what’s going on?” I questioned.
They all looked at me.
“It’s too dangerous for you too know little girl.” Zack explained,
“Why?”
“Can’t you ever just leave stuff alone? It’s too dangerous for you to know. You don’t need to get involved. You won’t like how you’ll end up.” Brian growled.
