Brian’s POV
As her warm, sweet blood ran down my throat I breathed a sigh of relief. Her blood was the best thing I had ever tasted. I don’t know if it was just because she was sweet or because I wanted her to be mine in every way possible but I just couldn’t get enough of her. I thirsted for her constantly, in more way than one way. Just her smile alone warmed my heart. Her sweet petite face lit up my soul. She was funny and was growing more confident in herself.
Her arms were clinging to my shoulders and she gasped at the feeling of me taking her blood. She let out a soft moan. That was new. She was finally enjoying this. I withdrew my mouth and swallowed the last of the liquid in my mouth and licked my lips. She was breathing heavily under me and looked at me through heavy lids. A smile crossed my face and I leaned down to kiss her. Her lips met mine and my whole body felt alive. My fingers tangled in my hair and her kisses were short and sweet. I pulled away and looked into her eyes.
‘You’re beautiful.” I murmured to her.
She softly smiled.
I knew had to control myself with her. Her body was fragile unlike my cold one. My vampire side still wanted to rip her apart but my heart wouldn’t let me. I would never be able to forgive myself if I ever killed her.
