I put my black converse on and slipped my Black leather jacket on and walked out the door. I can't believe I'm actually doing this (yes i know it's just going to a bar but right now that's pretty rare for me to even go outside besides groceries), I unlocked my car and started the engine up, I didn't even need to look on my sat nav for where to go because there is only one bar I am comfortable in and like Johnny's Saloon, since me and the guys got our fake id's Johnny's saloon is the only place we'd ever go and to be honest it hasn't even changed i still remember messing about with the guys in here and getting drunk also the time johnny projectile vomited, hahaha they were good times, I wish it was the same I wish i still was the young Brian who would fuck any girl who walked and never look back but now i'm a middle aged man full of regret. I sat down at the bar stool and waited for the bartender to come over to me
" Hey Brian I haven't seen you for ages how you doing man"
"I'm good Steve"
" That's good, now what can i get you"
"3 Shots of Jack and a pint of Guinness Steve"
"Ok 3 Shots of Jack and a Guinness coming up"
I watched as he poured that fiery liquid into the 3 shot glasses and that dark Guinness into the pint glass.
"here you go man"
I start to down the the fiery liquid, ignoring the burning feeling at the back of my throat after less then a minute all the shots were done and i was starting to feel a little better. I must have been to busy staring at all the pictures of people on the wall because i didn't notice someone had sat down next to me. She looked like she was at least 26 maybe older and she had brown hair in a long fringe hairstyle which in my honest opinion made her look incredibly beautiful. I was broken out of trance by her trying to talk to me.
"Hey have i got something on my face"
"Um no, why do you ask?"
"Because you have been staring at me for the last minute and it was flattering at first now it's just.. strange"
"Oh yeah sorry about that i tend to do that, I just start staring at something and start thinking the complete opposite thing, not that i wasn't thinking about you i just meant"
" It's ok hunnie i do that as well "
"Oh right that's cool i mean yeah, can i get you a drink (Yeah i know i'm being a nervous as a child talking to his crush for the first time it's just she's the first female i have talked to in month)"
"Yeah sure i'll have a Jack and Coke, Syn"
" Ok that's one jack wait what how do you know my stage name??"
"Because i'm your biggest fan"
Oh shit!
"hahahhah i'm just fucking with you SYN my brother likes Avenged"
" Oh thank god I thought i would have to do loads of photos and autographs, not that i don't like doing those it's just i'm kinda on a break from 'Synyster Gates'"
"Nah don't worry about me i'm cool and i certainly won't be asking you for any autographs or pictures"
"good good, so that was a jack and coke you wanted right?"
"Yeah"
Oh my god this woman i may be in love with her and i don't even know her name (Yeah i get like this when i'm slightly drunk) she's do funny and beautiful shes well she's perfect, oh right here's the bartender back to the real life Brian.
"Hey Steve can i get one Jack and coke for.."
"Danielle"
"Yes, Danielle here"
"Ok thats one Jack and Coke coming up"
Wow I can already see this nights going to be great , and wait i don't feel so down now wow she must just have that effect on me, wait how long have i been staring at her for??
" Shit sorry I was doing my thing again"
" It's ok like i said i do it all the time"
