A Little Piece Of Heaven

I sat in my bed thinking about the last 24ish hours. What happened? I ran away, woke up on Avenged Sevenfold’s bus, and now I am in an orphanage. Fuck me. I should not have ran away. I may have still been with my dad, but I would still be at home. Not in this mess of a situation. I hate this so much. I laid down on my stomach, my face buried in my pillow. I wonder if the guys miss me. Probably not, no one ever misses me. I tipped my head up looking out the window. It was way passed sunset. I sat up. I can’t keep doing this. I can’t feel sorry for myself, not anymore. Soon after Paige walked in. “Can I come back to MY room now?” she spoke softly, but harshly. “Um, yeah.” Paige came in and sat on her bed. She stared at me with eyes wide I looked back at her “Um yes?” She got off her bed and came to mine. I got very uncomfortable with this quickly. She got close to my face. “Why are you here?” She backed away slowly again, sitting at the end of my bed. “Um don’t you think that’s personal?” She looked up at me. “Um no, you’re my roommate.”
Well okay then… I guess nothing is too personal for her. “Well, my father was abusive, my mother ran away when I was young. I finally had enough and ran away. He chased me. And chased me. I finally hid behind a dumpster and he didn’t see me. I walked to a small park and fell asleep on bench there. I woke up the next morning on-“I stopped myself there. For all I know she could be a crazed fan. Or call me crazy. She was very unpredictable. “Well go on with it now! What happened next?” Shit, I guess I got to tell her now. “Well… I woke up on the Avenged Sevenfold’s bus.” She stared back at me. Her eyes growing bigger by the second. Shit, shit, shit. Crazed fan. She spoke. “Avenged Sevenfold you say?” “Um, yea.” She looked at me as if she had a new respect for me or something. “I love their music. They are pretty cool. But that does not tell me how you got here.” Fuck. I don’t want to talk about this…”Well, I was leaving the bus, afraid they didn’t want me, and my father… attacked me. The guys saw and pulled him off of me. Matt called that cops. He confessed everything and here I am.” She looked at me and her face was unreadable. This chick was good at this. She attacked me in a hug, which took me off guard. “I’m so sorry you had to go through that.” I was shocked. What was she doing? I would have never thought of her doing this. “It’s… it’s fine.” She got off of me and sat back at the foot of my bed.
“So… were they attractive?” I laughed a little. Did we just become friends? I guess we did ha-ha. “Oh Jesus. They were. Especially Syn and Zacky. Well, they all were.” “g\God, I love Zacky. He is so attractive and his fingers move so fast. God. If only I was old enough.” “Wait how old are you?” She looked up at me. “I am 15. Yourself?” “Well I am 14.” “Wow, I thought you were younger, because your, uh-““Height?” I cut her off. “I get that a lot.” I looked at the clock in my room 11:27p.m. “Hey we should probably go to sleep.” She looked at the clock. “Oh I guess we should, Night Phe” She crawled back over to her bed. Yes, she literally crawled. “Night Paige.”
