Vanessa's POV*

Even though Zacky was smiling, I could see the worry in his eyes. This was a good sign.
"So what does the lady want to eat tonight?" He asked me.

"I was thinking, maybe some Olive Garden?" I smiled. And I could see from the corner of my eyes that he was smiling too. Considering the fact that me and him went together when his mother was in town.

"So how's momma Baker?" I asked.

"She actually called me today asking about you." He laughed. "Does she know?"

"What that her son is a rockstar? I'm pretty sure everyone knows." I said in a teasing voice.

"Not about that. But nice to know." He laughed again.

"Oh you mean the baby? Yeah, she knows but I didn't tell her. I guess she just could tell on her own. Wait am I already getting fat?" I asked panicking.

"Mothers." He said as he shook his head and gave out a low chuckle. "And noyou are not fat Nessa. You are gorgeous. The most gorgeous girl in the world."

"If your a girl in there you better slap daddy when you meet us. Cause you would be the most gorgeous girl." I said to my stomach. Then I started laughing to my self.

We arrived at the Olive Garden finally. I was so happy. My stomach was dying for some food. So we went in and they showed us to our seats, we didn't have to wait long to order either caused we both knew what we had wanted and that was a good thing.

We sat there just talking about little things and people watching a bit. Like there was this one guy who came in all by himself. He was an older man dressed very casual but we seen a tattoo on his hand with the name Martha. So we made up a little backstory behind it. Ultimately ending with Martha being his high school sweetheart and then he went to war and coming back to marry her. They both ended up getting tattoos of each others names on them. Then sadly fate tore them apart when she only had a few months to live and she recently passed. Which brings us to him coming in here alone because it was their favorite place to go together. By the time we were finished with our little back story, our food had arrived. Which also meant it was time to test Zack.

"So I can start booking shows now!" I said while I took a bite of some alfredo.

"That sounds wonderful, this is your dream Nessa." He said looking me as he said it but then looked down after.

"I was thinking of trying to book at Chain Reaction, ya know how amp that crowd can be." I said "Plus you guys started off at Chain Reaction, look at you now." I smiled at him.

"Well yeah that was a fun show, so fun in fact we got banned there." He laughed at the memory. "Matt sure does have a temper."

We both laughed at this.

"You'll be there for me right?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Of course I'll be there for you." He said grabbing my hands to hold in his."Do I think that maybe you should wait till after the baby? Yes.But this is your dream, so if this is what you want to do then I'm going to be there every single time to make sure you're okay. I will be there to protect when a crowd gets too crazy. No matter what it is.. I will be there. Not because I have to be. I want to be there." He said.

"Thats all I wanted to hear Zachary James Baker." I smiled. He kissed my hands and we continued to eat.

"So you made the shows up?" He asked.

"No of course not. If I want to book shows I can. But I'm pregnant. I can't go risk something like that." I laughed and he sighed in relief.

"So the wedding is a week away..." Zacky began to say. "And I know maybe I haven't been perfect these past couple of weeks but I definitely feel like I've been doing exceptional. So I was wondering if maybe you'd like to be my date to the wedding?" He asked.

I hesitated to add some dramatic effect to his question. "Well... I mean since you're asking.... Of course I'll go with you Zack." I smiled and got up to kiss him on the cheek. But when I was going in to give him a kiss he had turned his head and I ended up pressing my lips to him. My cheeks filled up with warmth. But i didn't stop myself either. Truth is, I've been dying to kiss him again. Sadly, I pulled away. He's still on his probationary period at least until after the wedding. I sat back down in my chair and began eating again. He sat there just smiling at me.

"Do I have something in my teeth?" I asked nervously covering my mouth.

"Have I ever told you how amazing you are Nessa?" He said.

"Oh hush, you aren't so bad yourself Mr. Baker." I laughed.

To take the attention off of myself, I flung a noodle at Zack. Then acted as if I didn't do it. He smiled at me and then threw a piece of bread at me. We kept going back and forth with our little food fight until a waiter came up to us.

"If you keep this up, we are going to have to kick you two out." He said.

I laughed and apologized for the mini food fight and we continued on our meal. I was beyond stuffed at this point so we got the check and Zacky took me home. I asked him to stay and watch a movie, but he said he didn't want to push his luck. I was sadly disappointed but at the same time I was grateful for him not staying tonight. My bedroom was a mess and I'm pretty sure if I kissed him again we'd go further and he's doing so well. Don't want to spoil it.
