Zacky's POV

We had a week away till the wedding and I was growing anxious to take Nessa as my date. I've been with her almost everyday since we came back to Los Angeles. Unfortunately I went home every night but I was on probationary terms I guess you could say. Today she's at work pulling a double shift because her clients have missed her. So I went to hang out with the guys.

"So do you think you guys are going to get back together?" Matt asked.

"Things have been going good so far. Hopefully we do, I want to be able to be apart of hers and the babies life." I said as I took a long drag from my cigarette.

"I thought you said Cassie lied about the baby being yours?" Matt questioned me looking confused.

"I thought you knew about Nessa being pregnant?" I said realizing maybe she didn't tell them yet because of me.

"A baby vengeance? With Vanessa? I smell trouble." Brian said as he elbowed Johnny a few times teasing me.

"I think thats great news Zack!" Johnny said smiling.

"Thanks Short Shit." I said surprised he wasn't being a little shit as usual.

"Now she has two babies to take care of." Johnny laughed. I guess I was wrong.

"Shut up Short Shit or we'll drive you to Huntington Beach and and make you streak at the school." Matt said. Then shot me a look as if to say "I got your back."

"Finally I don't have to keep it a secret anymore!" Jimmy bursted.

We all turned to look at Jimmy as he did a little dance of happiness.

"I told Va-Va-Vanessa to name the baby Jimmy, if its a boy and Jaime if its a girl. So you better be on board with that Zack!" He said pointing his finger in my face.

"We'll see Jimmy." I laughed. "Besides my middle name is James so we can work with it."

Jimmy started jumping up and down like a child. My child was going to have the best uncles in the world. I took a look at all the guys. I was grateeful for having them apart of my life. They were my best friends, blood couldn't make us any closer than we already were. A band, brothers, and a bunch of over grown kids.

Matt pulled me aside and had me follow him into his house. I took one last drag of my cigarette and flicked it before I went inside. I followed Matt into his livingroom where he was unpausing his game. So I sat down on the recliner and wondered what he pulled me aside for.

"So what's up Matt?" I asked.

"Listen Vengeance, I'm happy things in your life are going well. I can't wait to meet the new addition to the Avenged Fam, but, don't hurt Vanessa again. This time it won't just be her you hurt but your child too. Other than that congrats man!" He said and got up to give me a hug.

"Thanks Matt." I said but was interupted by the door bell ringing.

Matt got up to go see who it was. When he opened the door a very sick looking Gena showed herself.

"What do you want Gena?" Matt asked. He folded his arms and stood in the doorway blocking her entrance into his house.

"Is Val here? I need her." Gena cried.

"She's at work so she won't be home all day, but I'll let her knwo you came by." Matt said as he was trying to close the door. But she put her hand up to stop it.

"Then can I talk to you?" She asked him. So I got up and walked over to Matt's side.

"Gena. Stop. You're making yourself look stupid right now. I made a mistake, yes but you broke it off. So deal with it. I'm happy with Vanessa and we're having a baby." I told her and shut the door in her face. Hopefully thats the last I see of her for a while. I was walking back to sit down when my phone started ringing. I checked who was calling and it was Nessa. Weird thing is that it's not even her break yet. Maybe somethings wrong.

"Nessa?" I said answering the phone.

"Zacky!" She yelled half out of breath.

"Is everything okay? Do you need me to come get you?" I asked feeling worried.

"No, everything is wonderful." She sang out the word wonderful.

"Is that so?" I laughed with a sense of relief.

"Guess what!" She said.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Remember how I told you about me working in a studio a few times? Okay well the manager came in today and dropped off my finished demo." She squealed with excitement. "Said I can start booking local shows and what not." She added.

"Thats great news!" I said. And it is great news, but she's pregnant now. She has to be careful now. But I wasn't going to rain down on her parade.

"Yes indeed! So tonight, you and I are going out to dinner when I get off work. No If's and's or but's got it?" She asked. "I got to get back to work but I will see you when you pick me up okay?" She added as she hung up the phone.

"Is everything alright?" Matt asked.

"Yeah everything is fine." I said but I wasn't so sure it was fine. I don't want to hold her back. This is everything she ever wanted but at the same time I want to protect her while she is pregnant.

* A few hours later*

After playing video games for the last couple of hours with the guys I decided to go home and get ready to pick up Nessa. I was still worried about her doind shows but I'm just going to have to be there at every single one with her. She supported us when we were starting Avenged, so its my turn to support her. I only had about 15 minutes till I had to pick Nessa up so I threw on a button up shirt and some black pants. I wasn't sure if we were going to a casual dinner place or fancy. So I guess I was in between the two. After I got ready I went and locked up my place and went outside to my car.

Vanessa's POV*

So I told Zacky that I got my demo cd today. I almost couldn't believe I had gotten it. Another thing I told him was I can book shows now. That was a lie. I mean it wasn't a lie, I can book shows now but I'm not going to while I'm pregnant. I told him that cause I want to see if he really is going to be here for me. So in a way I guess you can say I was testing him. If he passes then I will definitely be his date to the wedding. He has been doing very well with me as it is. Sometimes a bit over protective but I knew he just wanted to make sure me and the baby were going to be fine.

Speaking of baby I'm about to be in my third month next week the day before the wedding. Which means morning sickness is only a month away from being finished and I enter my second trimester. Crazy how fast time is flying. Soon I will start to show and I honestly couldn't wait for that.

I helped Val close up at work today, so Zack was picking me up in a few minutes.

"Did he buy your plan?" Val asked. I had told her about my idea as soon as the cd was given to me. I needed to tell someone.

"I absolutely think he did. He sounded a little bummed, which is great news for me." I smiled.

As I was finishing up the vacuuming in the center, I seen Zack pull up. So I hurried and finished and told Val I was out for the night. She waved at me and told me good luck. Zacky got out of the car and greeted me at the door holding it open for me to come out. He walked me to the car and opened the door for me there too. I was hoping the best would come out of tonight.
