Vanessa's POV*

For some strange reason, no matter what time I set my alarm to, I always wake up before it even goes off. Except this time I didn't. Must have been cause of the dream I had last night.

"Nessa get over here! You are just as part of this band as anyone else here!" Matt yelled to me as I was holding the camera.

"But whose gonna-" Just then Zack cut me off by pulling me towards the guys. So Jimmy went to set the camera's timer for 10 seconds. Just as the picture was about to be taken, Zack decided to tickle me causing me to laugh. So when we looked at the picture all you saw was 4 serious guys and then there was me laughing.


That was the same picture I came across last night...

Shaking off the memory, I got up and out of my bed so I could start loading things into my truck. It was only 9 a.m. but I was eager to start my new life. I called up my dad so he could help me load my bed into the truck. He was being kind of quiet when he got here though. So I broke the silence.

" Are you alright Dad? You seem kind of out of it." I said to him.

" I'm fine Nessa. It's just crazy how you went from riding your bike to you driving away to live in the big city to do big things. It scares me a little, but I know you will do great. I'm going to miss you kiddo."

" I'm going to miss you too, Dad. Don't worry I'll come to visit often, especially on holidays. The drive isn't too bad anyways."

I hated leaving my dad, especially now that my mom has left him and got remarried. Well more like she took off, didn't speak to anyone till she sent the divorce papers and wedding invitation. I didn't even go to her wedding. She had some fucking nerve to just up and leave after my dad supported her through everything. I was their only child though, so I felt bad for leaving but I had to go and live my dreams.

I pulled him into a hug and said my goodbye it was time to go to my new home.

When I reached L.A. I didn't want to go home right away. So I drove around taking in the sites. My stomach didn't agree with my decision so I drove to my new apartment to see what I could make, coming to the ultimate decision that all my pots and pans were buried in one of the boxes. So I went and unloaded my truck and decided to just go get some fast food.

I was searching around when I finally found what I wanted. Carl's Jr. I went in and ordered my usual, " 2 Bacon Western Cheeseburgers and a Large Dr. Pepper please?" The lady taking my order seemed irritated but she repeated my order to me and handed me a number to wait.

As soon as I got my food I devoured it. Sure, I was skinny but I was no stranger when it came to food. This girl loves her cheeseburgers. I honestly don't think anyone can eat more than me. Not even the guys. We used to have eating contests all the time but I always won them. Actually, when it came to contests I think I won every one of them. Even our burping contests.

I was looking at the window and noticed that the Guitar Center I'm going to be working for is right across the street. I decided to go say hi to my new boss and see what kind of schedule I will be having. I went across the street and entered the store asking to see the manager. My manager was really cool, her name was Valary. She was asking me about where I used to live. I told her Huntington Beach and she squealed saying thats where she's from too. We left her office and she started giving me the grand tour. Also telling me who I'd be working with today. Then I heard a familiar voice and turned in the direction of where it came from. And thats when I saw him...


" Vanessa Marie Andrews?!"
