Chapter 30: Change in Plans
Jake’s P.O.V
I was talking to one of the guards wondering where the hell Papa Gates was and then I saw him… Erin was with him and I was in shock. I walked over to them and stood waiting for my orders.
“Ah Jake; will show Erin to my office and wait for me to come back. I shouldn’t be long” He said and I grabbed her hand and walked her to the office.
“What the hell are you doing down here Erin” I asked and she just sat there quietly. We got into the office and we sat down in the chairs in front of his desk.
“Please talk to me Erin; earlier today I was talking to you and you didn’t seem like you were leaning towards actually doing this and now you are here?” I said and she looked at me trying so hard not to cry and I knew that it is because she and Zack could feel each other.
“Do you think he will hurt me?” She asked.
“Just don’t struggle or defy him and he will be good to you” I said trying to get her to calm down and not get scared.
“I don’t feel right now; all I feel is scared and I miss Zack…. I did this against his back” She said and put her face in her hands and started crying.
“Shhh I swear you will be fine” I said and she stopped and shot up when she heard voices outside the door. Papa Gates came in with a hurt Meaghan dragging behind him…..
Erin’s P.O.V
I watched Papa Gates come in and I was trying not to show that I was completely terrified right now. I didn’t feel good at all with my decision and all I could think about was the fact that I could feel Zack freaking out right now. Papa Gates sat down and motioned for me to get up and walk over to him. I nodded and went over and he sat me down on his lap. He wrapped his hand around my neck and made me look at him.
“I am so happy that you are finally here Erin; your father would have been so happy that you came down with me. Jake, Meaghan please leave us right now” Papa Gates said making me fear him even more. They just looked at me and then walked out not questioning him.
“Please” I said trying to fight back the tears and he just rubbed my neck.
“Please don’t cry. I am only doing this to ensure that you have a wonderful life. I can feel that you are scared my dear. What I am going to do will hurt but when you wake up I promise you will feel fine” He said and I was really confused. He stood up with me and he turned me so that my back was on his chest. I stared forward and he rubbed up my sides and then he placed one hand on my side and then one in my hair and he pulled my ear to his lips.
“You made the right choice Erin” He said and I felt him move his hand from my waist and reach backwards. I thought to myself… Just breathe and suck it up… just suck it up.
“You think too loudly Erin” He said and turned me around and was holding a dagger. It was wavy and had engravings on it. He let go and I backed up and after a minute I hit the wall and he pushed himself into me and he smiled.
“Don’t do this; I promise I will cooperate” I said trying to beg him not to use it on me.
“You are going to obey me either way” He said and lifted the blade making it shine even in the low lights. I closed my eyes and he dragged the blade across my neck and I dropped but he caught me and I felt him run his tongue across it and then he attached his mouth to my neck. I was struggling but I blacked out and there was absolutely nothing….Heaven nor Hell….just darkness.
Maria’s P.O.V
I felt a stab to the heart….. It was just pain…. Pure pain with no filtering; I had no idea where Jimmy was but I needed to see Erin. I went down and found the guys watching Zack cry.
“What the hell is going on” I asked frantic.
“Where the heck is Erin? I need my daughter.” I said and I saw Sarah come over and she hugged me tightly.
“Zack can’t feel anything with Erin…. And she doesn’t have a human or angel heartbeat…..” Sarah said to me and I dropped to the ground.
“well the where is Jimmy” I asked crying.
“He has been missing for a while now…. We don’t know if he intentionally left or if he was taken” Matt said. I teleported down to hell disappearing from the guys; I ran down the hall and into Gates office.
“Where the hell is my daughter Gates!!” I asked and he grabbed my hand and pulled me to his bedroom. I saw Erin lying on the bed and her neck was completely covered in blood. I hugged Gates because he was the first one there and just as I turned back around Erin was standing in front of me…..
“Honey?” I said softly trying to make sure she was okay. She wasn’t though…..
“Come over here my dear” Gates said to her and she walked over to him and she looked terrified. He grabbed her chin making her look him in the eyes and he handed her the blade.
“You will kill her for me; right in the heart” He said to her and I could see him overpower her she came over to me and just stared at me and then she stabbed me in the heart…. I fell down and faded out….Jimmy…oh Jimmy she needs you now more than ever……
Papa Gates P.O.V
Erin was no longer an angel and she was no longer a vampire. She was pure human and she still was perfect. She took down her mother for me and things were going as planned. Now all that she was going to need to come to grips with was that Jimmy was down here locked away under the watchful eye of Jake. I took the blade from Erin wiping it clean and then took her into my personal bathroom. She just stood there and I knew she felt normal and very off from usual.
“I guess that I should let you know exactly what I did” I said to her.
“I don’t feel Zack” She said…. She is still on the Zack subject.
“You are mortal my dear” I said and she looked horrified. I ran the bath water to let her take in the fact that she is a normal person.
“I thought you wanted my soul” She questioned me.
“This will happen all in good time Erin. You are powerless so let’s just worry about that” I said and she sat down on the ledge of the bathtub. After I finished I stripped her clothes off and let her take a nice hot bath. About 20 minutes later she came into my room as I was talking to Jake.
“Ah there you are all nice and clean; Jake will be taking you back up to the guys” I said and she was confused yet again. Jake grabbed her and took her back up to the surface…..
This new plan was going to be marvelous….
