Zack's P.O.V

"UGH; is it supposed to be taking this long for her to come back to me?" I yelled out of frustration while Syn was helping me clean the house.

"Zack just calm down; she isn't human so it's gonna take longer than usual" Syn said to me trying to calm me down but I just wanted to hold her again and make sure that she is okay.

"But it's been a week now and we are running out of time" I said trying to make him see how much I miss her but at the same time I am sure that Syn got the picture already.

"You saved her Zack; yes it is taking a while but when she does wake up, you will hold her again. I get that you missed her bro, I really do" Syn said. I hugged him and we were about to start cleaning again when out of the corners of our eyes there stood a woman with golden brown hair that was curly and to her lower back and green eyes that were a complex green.

Then we looked at each other and realized, we were looking at Erin...she was awake.

Erin's P.O.V

For days I was pulled away from being able to watch Zack and see how they went on without me. I was stuck in a white room just waiting; although it wasn't just me sitting the whole time. I spent a lot of the time in searing pain because of the change. I wasn't sure how long exactly I had been away but after a while a woman came into my room. She was a little taller than me and had shoulder length brown hair and a thousand watt smile. At first since I was so out of it I didn't recognize who she was but then I realized that it was....my mother. She came over to me and pulled my hair out of my face.

"I have been watching you Erin; I just want you to know that you meant everything to your father and I. I believe the one who calls himself Papa Gates left out one thing Erin" She said to me while stroking my face.

"I have always been an angel Erin; that is why your dad was killed, because he ran off with me; and also Erin...I am one of the most powerful angels....you hold so much power in you. Now; on to the matter of how they could take that power from you" She said but I cut her off.

"Mom" I said and hugged her tightly. She held me in her arms and started to cry. I missed her so much. And just like that all of the memories from me being raised came back to me. Yes I lived in Nebraska at nine years old and on but before I was nine I was raised up here with my mother. She pulled back and wiped the tears away from my face.

"Honey; please take what I am saying seriously. The way they want to take your powers is by taking your soul; it is key to everything. You must stay safe at all costs Erin" She said to me and I just sat there trying to figure out how this was going to play out.

"I know the guys will be here for me and will help me channel my powers so I can use them to the best of my ability; I can do this mom" I said to her confident that I will come out on top. She smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Oh and you better not let Zack go because he is a cutie!" My mom said making me blush.

"Mom!" I said a little embarrassed. We sat there just smiling and it was nice to see that she was well and that she was technically alive in a way. I took a deep breath.

"So the real reason that I am here is to guide you back" She said to me and I was a little confused.

"What do you mean guide me back?" I asked.

"To your life; it is time for you to go home Erin" She said to me and I felt relief sweep over my body.

"Close your eyes and take a deep breath for me" She said and I closed my eyes as she said and took a deep breath in.

"Think of the band and the girls and even Hayley. Realize that there will be changes and you will feel discomfort but it will be over after a short period of time. And remember Erin; I am only one thought away. I will always be here for you my love" She said and I smiled and took another deep breath and thought of everyone and it went dark and I felt really uncomfortable. I wiggled a little feeling my body again; it was a really odd feeling and I couldn't open my eyes and I just felt like a completely different person. After a moment or two I felt warmth and I felt alive. And just like that I opened my eyes and saw the sun shine in the window. Although it wasn't my room; I looked around the blue room and saw a bunch of Avenged Sevenfold stuff on the wall. This must be Zack's room, I sat up and felt a little dizzy but I still slowly got up off the bed. I stood up and went into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I was shocked to see my hair all the way down my back; I was also wearing different clothes, which was a nice surprise. I had no idea how but I was glowing; I rubbed my cheek and smiled and realized that there was makeup on my face. I heard someone yell downstairs which made me jump and so I quietly made my way out of the bedroom and down the hallway. I walked down the stairs and saw Zack and Brian talking so I grabbed some water from the kitchen and then went back out and stopped in my tracks because they were hugging. When they finished I saw them freeze and then look over at me. They looked at me almost like they didn't recognize me. I was a little shocked to be here myself.

"Hi" I said softly trying not to freak them out too much.

"I think I am going to go and get the rest of the band and Hayley; I will be right back" Brian said and literally sprinted out of the house. Zack just sat there and I could feel that he was happy but I could also feel that he was in shock. I smiled really big because I was really happy to see Zack. He smiled back and ran over to me and picked me up hugging me tightly. I took in his warmth grateful to be back in his arms. I broke from the hug and looked at him happily.

"You saved my life" I said rubbing the back of his hair; he pulled me in and kissed me like he never has before.

"I love you so much and I am so glad that you are awake; I was worried that you weren't going to come back to me" He said kissing me again and again. I smiled and looked him right in the eyes.

"I am here now and that is all that matters; because of you....I met my mother and remembered the first nine years of my life. Promise me something?" I asked him crying a little out of joy.

"Anything" He said wiping under my eyes.

"Never let me go" I said and he paused for a moment just gazing into my eyes and then hugged me really tightly.

"I will never let you go baby; never" He said and then we started making out again. We were cut off shortly after by the whole band barging into the house and stealing me away from Zack hugging me and squeezing me. I sat there just laughing because everyone was acting like a bunch of monkeys. And just then I saw Hayley just standing there waiting to get her turn with me. Johnny hadn't let go but I pushed him off and went over and hugged Hayley because I missed her so much. I could feel her crying; she broke from the hug and we just laughed at each other.

"What was it like" She asked me. Everyone was just sitting there eager for my answer.

"Alright everyone sit down and I will tell you what all happened while I was out" I said and everyone sat on the couch, in the recliner and on the floor almost like it was story time.

"At first I was just watching almost like I was a spectator; then I blacked out and woke up in a white room in searing pain. It lasted a while even though I really don't know how long I was out for. After the pain went away I literally just waited and waited for something to happen. In the last hour of being there someone showed up and it was the last person I ever expected... it was my mother. She told me that Papa Gates lied to me; she is an angel. She is one of the most powerful and the reason why they killed my father is because he ran off with an angel. I remembered everything; every memory with my mom and my dad; I wasn't raised in Nebraska; I was raised up there with her and every so often she would take me down to see my father and actually be normal. Up until they were caught anyways; and Papa Gates took all memory I had of that time period. She guided me back to you all and then I woke up a whole new girl" I said trying to get a hold of myself.

"So you know everything?" Matt asked me.

"Yes Matt; I know everything. Tomorrow we will start preparing; I suppose you should know that they way they can steal my power from me is by taking my soul" I said and they thought about it for a minute and then it snapped in their brains that it was true.

"Well we will be ready and that bastard will not get your soul" Johnny said making me smile. I was so happy that I was back and that I had everyone by my side. Tonight all I wanted to do was have fun and relax.

"Let's get out and do something!" Arin yelled out; I knew that he read my mind and so I smiled at him.

"Let's go to the beach and then after we will go out for drinks and then celebrate that Erin is back!!" Brian called out. All of us girls squealed and ran to our houses to change. I sat there searching my closet and chose my blue bikini; I loaned Hayley this cute baby pink one that was perfect for her. After I grabbed my Ray-Bans and my towel and ran outside with Hayley to where the band was waiting. Zack grabbed my waist and we walked down to the beach. After setting up everything I instantaneously ran and jumped into the water letting it cool my skin. Val and Hayley came over and we had a splash war and then all the girls joined in. After we all lied in the sun as the men surfed. I sat there staring at Zack; he was having a blast and I just smiled watching him laugh and mess with all the other guys.

"I had no idea that Zack could even surf" I said mesmerized by him.

"Girl you and Zack really need to get some time to yourselves and find out more about each other" Val said giggling.

"Umm reality check; last time the two of us were alone, we were attacked and I died remember" I said and she looked over and gave me a really sad face.

"Yeah but now you are this unstoppable girl!! You two will get some alone time I promise; I think that you need it before the battle for sure" Michelle said smiling at me.

"I love you girls! So what are we going to be wearing tonight?" I asked getting excited to go out for drinks with everyone.

"Something sexy!" Lacy called out and all of us agreed.

"We are going to turn some heads tonight girls! This is going to be so much fun!" I said as all the guys started running back to us. Zack ran over to our towels and he shook the water off of himself and splashed it on me making me jump because of how cold it was.

"You are so going to pay for that!" I called out and jumped on him but as I did that he pulled me off laughing and then tripped landing on top of me. He kissed me deeply.

"Woah now you two save that shit for later!" Matt said and we all got ready to go home and change for some drinks. I took Hayley with me and we sat there staring at my closet.

"I was always bad at finding something to wear" I said laughing and she went into my walk in closet and looked around. She was my expert on clothing; she always knew exactly what to wear and to grab for me to wear as well. She came back out and walked over to the bed and set out this really cute outfit that contained a black tank top that had sequins running down the middle of it and some grey skinny jeans. I went to pick it up and she slapped my hands.

"Ah don't touch I am not done getting the shoes and accessories!" She said and I just laughed. She came back over with these black heels that had a black bow on the side and this cute metal bracelet. She handed me these really cute black teardrop shaped dangly earrings and a green clutch for some color.

"I know that green Zack's favorite color so he will notice you right away now go change and get all prettied up my dear!" She said leaving me in the room alone. I changed and went and did some pin up eyeliner like usual and put some nude lipstick on. I put the front of my hair in this loose french braid and then left the rest wavy and I put the accessories on and went downstairs. Hayley came down wearing this really cute grey tank top with black skinny jeans and black flats and put a blue cardigan over the tank top and she had silver accessories. I hugged her.

"Damn we look sooo good!" She said and we just laughed.

"Hey we should do some shots before we go!" I said and she agreed. I pulled out a bottle of vodka and poured us a shot and we took them down really fast. We both sat there making faces but I felt great and was ready to go. We walked outside and of course the girls looked stunning; they walked over to us and hugged us and we all just sat there talking jewelry.

"So where are the guys?" I asked.

"They left already; we are going to meet them there and knock their socks off with how good we look! Oh and Hayley Zack brought his brother with him and I think that you will love him!" Val said and Hayley blushed. We all got into Val's SUV and drove to the club. When we got to the club we filed out and the bouncer immediately let us in. We all sat there smiling and laughing and when we walked in the guys just stared at us in awe. I walked over and kissed Zack immediately but Brian came between us.

"SHOTS EVERYONE!!" He yelled making me have to plug my ears. He grabbed the shots from the counter and handed it to me and I braced myself and then took it down really faced. Damn whatever that was it was strong.

"Val let's dance!" I yelled and she went and danced with me. We were dancing really sexily to get the guys attention and Matt and Zack were just enjoying the view of Val and I grinding up against one another. After a couple songs I decided that I needed some air.

"Hey babe I am gonna go get some fresh air; be back in 5" I said and he smiled and kissed me. I walked out back and just took in the silence. After a moment I heard someone behind me breathing in and out; I stood there frozen waiting for them to talk.

“Being part vampire suits you well Erin; I love the new hair it’s gorgeous” They said and just then I knew who it was; Papa Gates. He messed with a few of the waves in my hair that sat on my lower back. I turned around and looked him right in the eyes.

“I find it hard to believe that you care of any of my physical traits sir; you seem to only care about getting my soul so you can hold my power” I said to him. He gave me a death stare.

“So you have broken down all the barriers” He said.

“No my mother told me everything” I said and his eyes widened.

“You saw your mother?” He asked me a little worried; I don’t know why he was so worried that I saw my mother.

“Why does it matter that I saw my mother?” I asked trying to make sense of this.

“She didn’t come with you right?” He asked looking around.

“What? No of course not; she is still up there” I said and he seemed relieved.

“I can get her down here if you really want to see her” I said almost mocking him. He backed up a little.

“No you do not need to do that Erin everything is fine” He said emphasizing that everything was fine. I sat there just waiting to see what he was here for though.

“Why are you here Papa Gates” I asked harshly needing to get back inside.

“I just wanted to see how much power I will hold when I have your beautiful soul; but I don’t just want your power Erin” He said pacing around me and then coming up behind me and whispering it into my ear.

“What else do you want” I asked a little nervous; nervous enough that I knew that Zack would feel it.

“I want your soul and I want you to be my queen…you are such a beautiful creature just like your mother was” He said rubbing up my arms.

I took a deep breath in and felt him disappear.

I would rather die in battle then be his queen…

So I know that I said there would be 2 chapters tonight but I got a bit of writers block and I am trying to figure out how I am going to have everything play out lol
