Promises Broken and Words Left Unspoken

I woke up to Amys arms around me as my alarm clock went off. I reached over and shut it off slightly confused. Did we really sleep that long? Oh well, I stretched a bit before pulling Amy to her feet as she groggily woke up. "Why dont you take a quick shower? My parents went to a party last night so they wont be home." She smiled and nodded before kissing me and walking away from me. I yawned before looking for some clean clothes to wear and began to get ready.

We were eating in the kitchen as McKenna and Brent walked in and grabbed breakfast. When Brent saw Amys neck he did a double take before rolling his eyes and ushering McKenna out of the kitchen. "Dude, that's just asking for trouble," he stated when he came back in for his bag. He glared before walking out and I just rolled my eyes. I mean what does he know about anything?

"What's your brother going on about now?" Amy asked with a slight roll of her eyes. They dont really like each other all that much. I shrugged before standing up.

"Ready to go babe?" I asked with a grin. She nodded and we walked to my car. She popped in a CD and sang along with it the whole way to school. When we got to school, she put her hand in mine and we walked towards where our group usually hangs out. "Hey guys," I stated with a grin as Val snickered. "What," I asked confused.

"You're only like this because you got laid last night. You and your shit eating grin," she stated as the guys nodded with a laugh. I nodded and shrugged as Amy blushed slightly. "Hey look, it's Madi from yesterday," she added the last part when no one other than Zack seemed to know who she was talking about.

"Should we call her over? See if she wants to hang out?" Amy asked with the 'I am so recruiting a new cheerleader' face on. Val laughed and shrugged, the only one who really nodded was Zacky. Amy waved Madi over with a huge smile.

She walked over hesitantly and smiled shyly. She has a nice smile.
