Promises Broken and Words Left Unspoken
Waking Up
Madi's P.O.V
When I woke up I figured I had fallen asleep on the couch with Ty or something. But when I opened my eyes I realized that I was laying with a more heavily tattooed person...definitely a male person though. As you may guess...it freaked me out a bit. And due to the fact that I sat up too fast, and immediately regretted it. I covered my mouth as my head throbbed. I looked over at the person as he sat up and realized it was Brian. I then looked down and noticed I was in his clothes which made me freak out more. I felt my eyes widen as I looked over at him confused.
"Don't worry...we didn't do anything. Come on," He pulled me up and led me to the bathroom. I sat down as my head throbbed and he dug through the cabinet for Tylenol. "Here," he spoke softly offering me a glass of water and the medicine in his hand. I took it before thanking him. He offered me his hand and pulled me up as I spoke up again.
"I don't remember a lot of last night...what happened?" I asked looking down feeling ashamed and hiding my tears. I felt his finger force my chin up so I was looking at him.
"We didn't do anything," He stated firmly. "I offered to take you here because you were freaking out. We came back here, I gave you water because you were getting frustrated. I offered you clothes to change into and then you passed out on the couch, and that led to today," he summed up quickly. I nodded and yawned feeling more tired than I should after being asleep til 11 in the morning. "And the only reason we were sleeping in the same bed is you wouldn't let go of my shirt," I nodded with another yawn.
"Thank you for not letting me stumble around drunk. And I'm sorry for calling you all those names," I spoke softly, afraid if I spoke up louder I was going to be sick.
"I deserved every one of those names. So don't be," He whispered softly. "I'm sorry my bitchy girlfriend got you drunk," he spoke softly and I nodded with a shy smile.
"Not your fault that she's like that," I felt myself playing with mom's locket around my neck. "Thanks for everything," I whispered.
"I feel responsible. And...I want to be the friend you tell all of your secrets to...again."
