Scream
Sleep Talkers (Matt's POV)
"She's a walking trainwreck, Matt," she exclaimed. "Nothing you do can help her!"
"Just being with her helps," I growled. "I am going to stay the night to make sure she's okay-"
"I don't care, Matthew, it's obvious you love her more than you love me." Click.
I took at least three deep breaths before throwing my phone at the wall, watching the back and battery fly out. I needed a stress ball or something. I collapsed into the couch in the living room, closing my eyes. What Val said wasn't true... was it?
"What if Brian finds out," Courtney whispered. I smiled a little at her. She was always cautious.
"He won't, I promise," I murmured back, placing my hands on her hips. She looked up at me. She still wasn't used to it. I leaned down to kiss her, and turned more aggressive when she kissed back. I felt her smile and gently pushed her down onto the bed. She already had her shirt and jeans off from before I shut the door, and my heavily inked chest was showing. I pushed my jeans off and looked at her. She was staring off into space with an emotionless expression on her face.
"Are you all right," I asked, fully concerned. She met my gaze and nodded with a smile.
"Yes," she said. The smile didn't fool me; she almost always smiled when someone asked if she was okay. She pulled her knees up to her chest as she took her panties off and I slipped my boxers off. She hated me seeing anything, so she kept the bra on which I had no problem with. She spread her legs, and, without looking, I set myself between them.
"Are you sure you're okay," I whispered quietly, not taking my stare off of her eyes.
"Yes," she repeated, but with less confidence. I watched her for a few seconds before she kissed me, and I slowly slipped into her. I felt her nails dig into my arm and the back of my neck (depending on where her hands were) so I broke the kiss and stayed still, looking at her.
"Do you need a second-" I stopped when she nodded with her eyes closed, taking slightly deep breaths. She had a pained look on her face. "We can stop if you want-"
"No," she opposed, opening her eyes to meet my gaze. I kissed her again and started pushing into her, feeling her claw my skin. I went faster and deeper with every thrust, kissing her and slipping my tongue into her mouth. I felt so in love with her I'd give anything to be with her all the time like this. I pulled out almost completely and shoved in.
"Oh my god," she moaned. She pulled my hair just enough to turn me on and I quickened the pace. Within minutes we both reached our climax, and I collapsed onto the bed next to her. I looked at her with a small smile, knowing this was my dream come true.
I jolted up, feeling my heart racing. I didn't want to be like Brian, I didn't want to be stuck in the same situation as he was in now. I couldn't make her fall in love with me, nor could I let her know that I loved her the same way her brother does.
Way more than a sister.
I had that dream constantly, every time I shut my eyes. Whenever I saw her, I knew how bad I wanted to kiss her, I knew how bad I wanted her to know that I wanted to save her so badly. But, by saving her, I'd be killing her. Even more than Brian was.
I felt my heart pound when I heard creaks on the stairs. I looked over and saw Courtney slowly walk each step carefully. She had my iPod on with the volume full blast; she wouldn't be able to hear me if I said anything. I could hear the chorus of "Massacre" by Escape The Fate playing. I watched her as she walked into the kitchen and poured herself a glass of orange juice, then chugged it. She looked at me, not saying anything. Only a minute later Brian came running down the stairs, looking panicked. We all looked at each other, but Courtney kept her gaze on me.
No one said anything for a while. Ten minutes must have passed before anyone even moved. It was Brian that was the first to do so, when he walked over to his sister and tilted her chin up so she looked at him instead of me. He caressed her cheek, and walked away to smoke outside. I sat up and waited for her to do something.
She walked silently over to the recliner and sat down, staring at me. I didn't know what to do.
"I'm not the only one that talks in their sleep," she whispered. I waited for her to continue. When she did speak again, she was still whispering. "When I was at your house and you were sleeping, I heard you."
"What did I say," I murmured.
"You loved me." That didn't surprise me.
"You know I do-"
"You said you wanted me." That, however, did.
I so glad theres sequel!!!!
