Not Your Average Love Story
04- Party, just cause we can!
Its been about two weeks since me and Cory broke up. The whole band was happy for me, because of that, and I got a job to be a tattoo artist. They have actually assigned me to come up with a tattoo for each of them, and to be the one to put it on them.
Anyways, because Jimmy and Zacky love to party, they're throwing a party, for the reason of, and I quote, 'just 'cause we can!' and this is why Jimmy is my best friend.
"Rainne! Get your ass down here! The party is starting!" Jimmy yelled through my door, hitting it a couple times.
"Gimmie like five more minutes, Jim!" I yelled back.
"No!" He burst through my door and picked me up.
"JIMMY!" I shrieked. "I'm not even fully ready!"
"What the hell else do you have to do?"
"Finish my fucking make-up! It's half done!"
He put me down. "Fine, go finish." He pouted.
I finished my make-up and made my way down the stairs. Everybody was dancing, laughing, and drinking, jut having a good time.
I was making my way over to the kitchen to get a drink when I was stopped.
"Where are you going?" I was asked.
"To get a drink," I turned around to see Johnny smiling at me. "JOHNNY!" I jumped up an hugged him. Even with him being the shortest of the band, I was still a good three inches shorter.
"How are you, buddy?" He asked over the loud music.
"Needin an alcoholic beverage, follow me!" I replied, grabbing his arm and pulling him into the kitchen. "Make me a drink, bitch!"
"Whoa, hey, whoa, whoa! Why am I always the bitch?" He complained.
"Because," I say on the counter. "I'm waiting,"
"Fine, but only because you're my other best friend." He agreed and starts making me a drink. "Here you go, m'lady,"
"Thanks buddy!" I hopped off and made my way to the living room.
"Rainne!" I heard Matt call. "Come here!"
"Whatcha need?" I asked as I went over to him.
"so, I was uh, just wondering," he started, rubbing his neck nervously. "Do you maybe wanna go out sometime? For lunch?"
"Yeah, uh, sure," I smiled at him nervously. Did I just agree to go on a date with Matt? "When?"
"Saturday? At 11:30?"
"Okay!" I chirped and started to walk off before I was stopped by Matt grabbing my hand.
"Wait, dance with me?"
I smiled and nodded and glanced over his shoulder. I saw Zacky leaning up against the wall, smirking at me. He knew tho wa going to happen.
I put my drink down on the table and went back over to Matt, right as a slow song started playing. I go up on my tip toes and wrapped my arms around his neck, damn his 6'1 height. I rested my head on his chest.
"Hey, Rainne?"
"Hmm?"
