Third Person's POV

"Any useful evidence?" A rarely impatient Arianna asked Brian and the detectives in their home.

"Nothing useful. We do however can confirm that the laptop we found in the living room is the controller for all those micro-cameras and audio recorders. This means they have been watching your every move since they were installed." James replied.

"So what does the Morse code puzzle mean?" Arianna questioned. "Will this psycho do something to Aidan?"

"Don't worry,honey. Aidan is with Zacky and your parents so they will be fine." Brian replied, putting a comforting hand on his wife's hand. He too, is also worried about this psycho.

His wife nodded to his statement and soon the room returned to it's silent form as they are waiting for some useful evidences to pop up. Their silence didn't last long as Jame's cell phone began to ring.

"James speaking."

When the voice through the speaker came through, he literally dropped his phone because of the new break-thru in this case.

James' conversation with the person on the phone soon ended as he turned his attention to the couple.

"We got great news. Michelle just contacted me." He announced.

"Great. When will we get to have a word with her?" Brian stood up, very eager to tell his ex-wife to back off and lay off the act.

"She will be here in twenty minutes. Apparently she just got off a plane from New York"

They nodded as it seemed like they are agreeing with Jame's statement. However, both of them, even the detectives, have a suspicion about this woman that used to be romantically linked to Brian.

Those twenty minutes seemed like a year for Brian and Arianna as they are awaiting for the arrival of Michelle. When the door bell rang, it took all control for Arianna to not launch herself towards the door and yell at the woman on the other side.

"Hi." Arianna politely said as she opened the door.

"Hi, Arianna." Michelle returned her polite greeting.

"They are waiting for you in the living room."

The two women went into the living room where the detectives and Brian are. Michelle was glad to see Brian again however, favor is not returned as Brian is more concerned about his family than a woman he used to love.

They all introduced themselves and began the questioning session. James had a recording device set up so this conversation can be recorded. Instead of taking her side of the story at the police station, it is done at Brian's house as they wanted to keep this case private.

"So, Michelle, where were you the past month?"

"I was traveling around the state. Driving. I recently just came back from NY."

"Were you involved with this..."

The investigation's questioning session lasted for an hour with Michelle denying majority of the accusation. James and the couple still have beliefs that Michelle has something to do with this because of the delusional fantasies she still have for Brian.

"Thank you for your investigation, Ms. We will contact you if we need more information." James said to Michelle as he head out with his voice recording so he can load it into his computer.

The remaining three sat in the room full of tension. The air is so thick that Arianna can't stand it anymore and decided to leave.

After Arianna left, Michelle turned to her ex-husband whom she still loved.

"Brian, I heard about your baby boy. Congratz!"

For some specific reasons, rather it was the inner-protective nature of Brian for his family or just his hatred towards Michelle, made him do something unexpected.

He violently grabbed Michelle's arm and shove her to the nearby wall. With his forearm on her throat, she can barely breathe.

"I swear my entire life if you do something to my family i will fucking kill you. I know you got something to do with this and so does everyone. So lay off what you're doing and go back being a whore." He said, his eyes turning into a shade of venom. To Michelle, he seemed like a cold-blooded killer about to strike, so she nodded in her state of choking.

He finally let go as the woman began to cough. He was partly ashamed of what he is doing. He never in his life, lay a hand on a woman until today. He just need to do what he can to protect his family.

After Brian had let Michelle go, he left the room to head towards the living room. He was walking until he overheard Arianna's coversation on the phone. He also noticed that she is in tears, yet shocked, as he can tell by the expression on her face.

He walked towards Arianna when she turned the phone off and paid her attention to him. Teary-eyed and upset, she told Brian something that both of them, never in a million years, wanted to hear.

"Mom just called. Aidan is missing."
