11 - Within A Day You Find Yourself Living In Constant Fear
Third Person's POV
Days after the murder of Michelle and nothing have been found or done. The detectives were unable to obtain any DNA or fingerprints but did classified her death as a homicide. The mysterious man also have no made a move yet but both Brian and Arianna knew that someday he will strike.
The Haners and the detectives were able to obtain Zacky's witness accounts when he was kidnapped. Not much can be told except he was a man with partial white hair, caucasian and probably in his late 40s. It was no use to everyone.
From Brian Haner, or Brian Haner Jr's father, his account of the hostages that were found in his cottage was that he knew nothing of. Brian strongly insisted and was proven to be out of California at that time and promised the Haner's to help find this mysterious dude.
Everyone of Avenged Sevenfold are frightened, including the playful Jimmy. They all are afraid that one of them will have something bad happen to them. First was the kidnapping of Aidan and Zacky, then Valerie's sister/ ex-wife of Brian is dead. For that man to do something harmful to them is easy pasy and they know they can't get away from him. They do, however, knew they must work together to find and throw this fucker in jail.
In this particular evening, everyone was spending time at Zacky's house along with his parents, Edwin and Alyssa. Everyone was having a great time until a phone call was made to Valerie's cellphone.
"Hey there. How's you sister?" A deep man voice said through the speaker. Valerie knew immediately it is the man who killed her sister and turned pale, which caught the attention of everyone in the living room. The living room quickly turned from a loud, cheerful place to a place of horror and fear.
"You...You are that fucker that killed my sister." Val shouted through the line, putting it on speaker for us to hear.
"Why so angry, my dear? At least that's not you or Arianna."
Unable to hold the anger that's building up inside of him, Matt interupted.
"Don't you dare to lay a finger on both of these women motherfucker."
A sick, stomach-emptying laugh came through.
"I won't lay a hand on your ugly bitch. But that...Ari, you are what I want. Didn't any of you read the hidden message on that letter? I mean, why don't you take the action of doing my a favor when I did you, Brian, one."
That sicko's voice is sending chills down Arianna's spine as she struggles to keep her fear and emotion normal.
"I never asked you to kill her. As much as i dislike my ex, she doesn't deserve to fucking die. Why would you do this?" Brian asked, getting annoyed of this guy and his antics.
"Oh, there's Mr.Haner. Why? Well she isn't useful so i killed her." He answered in a casual manner."
"You dont' fucking need to kill an innocent woman. Yes, she might wanted to get back at me but.... agh. I am calling the cops now." He got up from his spot on the couch and head for the phone.
"You can call. But you know what will happen." He said in a voice full of venom. Immdieatly, Brian put down the phone, knowing this man will do what he said and desired. He couldn't risk Arianna.
"What do you want then?" He asked, defeated at what he can do.
"I want Arianna. Divorce her and give her to me. I will leave all of you, alone." The man requested. In each of everyone's heart, they knew that this will never happen.
"NO." Arianna shouted. "You are not going to have me. I don't know who you are but leave my family and friends fucking alone. I don't need you to stalk me. I don't even know you."
"Darling, don't be upset. You will know me. Hell, you ALREADY know me. We are sooo close together. Don't you remember, my dear?"
"No. No. NO." Arianna then ended the phone conversation. She then turned into the arms of her husband and uncontrobally sobbed. She felt useless and scared.
"What are we going to do now? We know for fact that he is coming for her." Matt annoucned as if everyone in the room don't know that.
"Hope for the best and protect her. That fucker already took my sister's life, I am not letting him take Ari's." Valerie told the group.
A while later, Arianna looked up from her husband's arm. Brian then kissed her softly on her lips.
"No matter what happened, even if it means to have me killed, I am not letting you get hurt and kill. I promised." He whispered, barely able for her to hear.
