Two months later ~~~
It’s been two months since I saw Riley, I missed her like crazy and I knew I should have gone after her before just getting on the bus, I should never have let her walk away from me.
“Mattie baby, come back to bed,” That annoying voice I dealt with for most of my life sounded from behind me as those fucking hands wrapped around my shoulders, I made a big mistake a few weeks ago.
“Val, I’m busy, you go back to bed and I’ll be in later,” I told her, not taking my eyes off of the mac book on my lap.
“But I want more sex,” She whined.
“Well use your fucking vibrator, I’m not in the mood,” I spat and she stormed back up to the bunks.
A few weeks ago I had been thinking about Riley, a lot, we all got wasted and long story short, I fucked Val against the back of the bus, but I’d called out Riley’s name, Val hadn’t cared as long as I was fucking her, but now she thinks we’re back together.
Riley’s P.O.V
“I feel disgusting,” I groaned as I brushed my teeth for the third time today to get the taste of vomit out of my mouth.
“You’ve got a stomach bug honey, so don’t kiss me ‘cause I don’t wanna get sick, I have to work tonight,” She teased as she continued to brush my hair for me “Are you still going to your movie night with Jay and Sally?” She asked, setting the hairbrush down.
“Yeah, I can’t cancel on them now, I’ve been doing that too much these past couple of months,” I sighed.
“Alright, well you kids have fun, I’ll see you in the morning,” She kissed my cheek and left as I shouted after her that she was the same age as me.
“Hey!” I whined at Jay as he took some of my chocolate “Give that back!” I demanded.
“You want it?” He asked, I nodded but he opened his mouth to reveal half chewed chocolate.
“I can’t believe you guys are a couple now and never told me, I’m the third wheel of the group,” I laughed.
“Well you’re off work for the time being, you don’t come out anymore so we never see you to tell you,” Sally said.
“Y’know Sal, there’s these magical things called phones, you have one, I have one, text me, call me, whatever floats your boat doll,” We all started laughing until Sally jumped at the movie, we were watching My Bloody Valentine.
“Babe, I gotta use the bathroom,” Sally said to Jay.
“Well the two in the house are being done up, so you gotta use the one in the basement,” He told her, she kissed his lips and ran out of the room and down to the basement.
Jay and I continued to watch the movie in an awkward silence, I think Sally made us both more comfortable around each other, although I’d gotten to know Jay there was still something about him that put me off.
“She’s been gone a while, I’m gonna check on her,” Jay said, standing quickly and walking in the direction Sally went. The movie was loud that I didn’t even hear him going into the basement, but I decided to have a look around, like the nosey person that I am.
On the kitchen counter there was a little box, with very intricate designs on it, it was beautiful, but didn’t have a lock and I could open it right up. Inside there were drivers licenses, wallets, even a few lipsticks, I furrowed my eyebrows, I shouldn’t be snooping through Jay’s things but curiosity got the better of me. I picked up the wallet that was on top, it was quite girly looking so I opened it and was shocked at what I saw. It was the girl who got murdered the night of the party, Quinn Waters. Jay was the missing Jason, Jay was the guy who killed those girls and the guy who tried to kill me.
“What are you looking for?” Jay asked from behind me, calmly. I knew I had to stay calm and get out of here easily without making a scene, I needed to get my dad.
“Oh, I was just going to get a drink but I knocked this off the counter, is it yours?” I asked with a kind smile, holding the wallet out to him, he hesitated before saying yes and taking it from me.
I patted my pocket and felt for my phone, pretending that it had just vibrated, I pulled it out and pretended to read a message as I speed dialled my dad and silenced the phone so I couldn’t hear him when he answered, he would still here me though.
“My dad needs my help with something, I gotta go, thanks for having me tonight, get Sal to call me later, okay?” He smiled and nodded as I started to walk away, dad had answered the phone. I reached for the doorknob but my face was slammed against the door frame instead.
Everything began to blur when I fell to the floor, I stuck my phone back in my pocket quickly before he started to drag me through the house.
I opened my eyes and saw that we were in the basement and my hands were covered in blood as I lay face down on the ground, in leaned up and noticed my whole front was covered in blood but it wasn’t mine.
“Sally!” I screamed when I saw the blood was flowing from her mutilated body, Jay chuckled as he circled me as I rocked Sally back and forth “Why Jay, WHY?!” I screamed at him, tears running down my face.
“Because, I knew sooner or later you were going to figure me out, you’re uncomfortable around me and you don’t know why, this is why, I knew that you would tell your bitch here and you’d go to the cops together, precious little daddy would come to the rescue and I’d be locked up,” Sally coughed and spluttered, making me jump but she soon stopped moving, she was still, I checked for a pulse, only covering myself in more blood “Sally no, come back to me, please come back to me baby,” I sobbed into her hair.
“Get up!” Jay, or Jason, roared, grabbing me by the hair and making me stand “We’re going to have some more fun with you before you die,” He said with a dark chuckle. I felt a stabbing pain in my back as a knife was shoved into me before I was kicked to the ground.
