"She's gone..."
Matt's POV
I was getting antsy. The surgery had been going on for four hours. I know that it was her head and that that was important, but I want her back in my arms. Safe and sound. I got up and started pacing the room again. I can't believe that we didn't know about this before. I should have known. Why didn't we check before? We should have had her checked.
[i]Dude, how did you even think that you would have known about the tumor if this didn't happen? You wouldn't have until she started showing the symptoms. Calm Down. The doctors are taking care of her. Let them do their job.[/i]
I know. You're right.
[i]I know that I'm right. Now sit down and relax. The doctor will be coming soon.[/i] I sat down and stretched my legs out in front of me. Brian and Sarah came walking through the door to the waiting room with big, fat smiles on their faces. I could smell sex on them, saw the mark on Sarah's neck and smelled Brian's bonding scent all over them. I smirked. "Looks like you two had fun." I muttered. Sarah blushed and Brian wrapped his arms around her shoulders. I wanted to do that to Rebecca right now.
"We did." Brian said proudly and kissed the side of Sarah's neck where the bite mark was. I could faintly hear Sarah moan. I remembered when I had bitten Rebecca like that. It was a few days before her first day of school. My bonding scent was all over her and I couldn't keep smiling. Speaking of school, I looked over to the Sam kid who was still here after all these hours. I got up out of my seat and walked over to him. I sat down next to him, put my elbows on my knees and clasped my hands together.
"So your name is Sam, right?" I asked and looked at the kid.
"Y-Yeah." He stuttered a little. I looked him up and down and realize that he's tense. Why is he tense? I haven't even hit him yet.
"Why are you tense, boy?"
"I-I don't know, sir. I just hope that that girl is okay." I glared at him. He didn't even remember her name.
"That girl's name is Rebecca. My fiancé, dipshit." I growled at him.
"I'm sorry, sir. I didn't know that she was your fiancé." I calmed down and shook my head a little to clear it.
"It's fine. Why did you run into her?" I asked.
"It was an accident. She was walking out of the office when I was walking in. We didn't see each other." He said, but didn't make eye contact with me. I was about to say something right when the doctor walked in the room.
"Family of Rebecca Cross." We all stood up. The doctor again looked surprised. "Immediate family." No one sat down. The doctor looked down at his chart and then called, "Jess Cross." Jess stepped forward a little from his seat beside Jimmy and Leana. "May I speak to you outside?" The doctor asked.
"Nope. Whatever you have to say, you can say it in front of all of them." Jess crossed his arms over his chest. I did the same and so did the rest of the guys. The girls grabbed the arms of their men and held onto them showing that they weren't gonna take any bullshit. Just like the guys. One strong unit. Sam was standing behind me and had his not so beefy arms crossed. All of the guys were pretty well muscular. Even Jess, whom I didn't expect to be as built as he was. The doctor sighed and looked back down at the chart. When he looked back up at us, he started to speak. Thankfully we were the only ones in the waiting room. I didn't know where that other couple, but for right now, I was glad that they were gone.
"Um...The surgery went well. She did start bleeding during the surgery, but we got it under control and she should heal just fine. You may go back and see her if you would like too."
"Thank you doctor." Jess said and nodded. The doctor nodded and left. We all took a big sigh of relief and started quietly talking to each other. I took a big sigh of relief and headed for the door of the waiting room. I headed toward Rebecca's room and stopped when I was right outside. I sighed again and opened the door with a little smile on my face. I stepped inside and closed the door quietly behind me. I quietly walked over to the bed and pulled the curtains aside only to stop and have my jaw fall slack with shock. The bed was empty. I walked back out to the hall and asked one of the nurses if that was Rebecca's room.
When they told me yes, I walked back into the room and checked the bathroom. I don't know. Maybe she woke up fast and had to take a piss. When she wasn't in there I started to grow restless. [i][b]Let me out.[/b][/i] I heard the beast inside me ask roar. [i][b]Let. Me. Out.[/b][/i] I let out a loud roar and punched the wall. Rebecca was gone. Someone had taken Rebecca. The door burst open and the guys were standing there, ready to take on anything. When they noticed that the bed was empty, they stood there shocked and looked at my expression. I would guess that steam was coming out of my ears. I was that pissed off. The girls came running in a minute later with Jess and Sam behind them.
Jess walked up to the bed and touched the pillow. "She's gone..." Was all he said. I was gonna find the son of bitch who took her and when I did, the beast inside me was gonna come out. I don't care who saw or what they thought. No one takes Rebecca and gets away with it. I'll find you Rebecca. I promise you.

Carlos' POV
[i]I got her. I finally got her. That stupid bastard didn't even know.[/i] I looked into my rear view mirror and saw her sleeping peacefully in the backseat. Her head propped up on a pillow that I brought and my jacket and a blanket that I brought keeping her warm. I smiled to myself and sped down the highway to my penthouse. I pulled into my private parking garage that I had built by myself with a few friends. I closed the garage door and turned off the car. I got out and opened up the back door. I lifted my precious cargo up and took it up to my penthouse through the back stairwell. I got to my penthouse and opened the door, knowing that I left it unlocked. I walked into my bedroom and set her gently on the bed. I covered her up with the covers and walked back to the door, closing it shut.
I walked back into the bedroom and sat down on the bed next to her. I pushed the hair out of her face and smiled down at her. She was so beautiful. Her perfect skin, she use to have perfect hair, the perfect arch in her brow, her perfect lips. She was perfect. Just what our race needed. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. I stood up and looked down at her, resting my hands on my hips. "I got you Rebecca. Welcome home."
