9 months later~~~
“Babe, are you ready to come to the studio with me or are you coming down later?!” Jimmy called from the kitchen while I ran around our bedroom trying to get ready.
“Just give me a minute!” I called back as I tied my hair up into a messy bun “Jimmy, have you seen my big folder, you know the one, with the VU switchblade on the front, it’s huge and black!” I heard Jimmy say something to Harvey about me losing my head if it wasn’t screwed on right and I laughed.
“Yeah, it’s down here, you already put it beside the diaper bag!” He laughed and I sighed and walked down the stairs, doing my usual walk of shame after I lost something.
“Thanks,” I muttered and Harvey gurgled from his car seat on the kitchen counter as he ate his toes “How did you get that sock off?” I asked with a baby voice as I picked up his little blue sock from the floor and slipped it back onto his foot “Silly baby,” Jimmy lifted the car seat and I lifted the diaper bag and we headed out to the car, the guys were writing their new album, City of Evil, they were almost finished but were putting the finishing touches on everything, I was treading the tour because we didn’t know if there was going to be room on their bus for me and a 9 month old baby.
“Give me my nephew!” Zacky demanded as soon as we walked through the door of the studio, Jimmy just handed him the car seat and a moment later Harvey was out of it and being flown around the room by his uncle Zacky.
“Zacky, be careful, he might-“ I started but I was cut off when I heard Harvey hiccup and burp and then Zacky groaning “Sick-up on you,” I chuckled as the rest of the guys were rolling around on the floor at Zacky’s t-shirt being covered in white, lumpy baby sick.
“GUYS THEY CAN COME!” Val yelled running through the door and everyone gave her the ‘what the fuck are you talking about’ look “Charlie and Harvey, they can come, we managed to get a crib on the bus since we didn’t add the extra bunk for Charlie now she shares with Jimmy,” She said, eyebrows raised at Jimmy and I at the end of her announcement.
“Fuck yes!” Everyone shouted and hugged me.
“Hey, Jimmy doesn’t have to use his hand on this tour, he has Charlie,” Johnny teased.
“You do though Short-shit,” I shot at him and he faked being hurt while everyone else laughed at him.
“Charlie I wanna ask you something,” Matt said from one of the sofa’s patting the space beside him, I walked over and sat in it.
“What’s up?” I asked, throwing my bag at my feet and my folder onto the table in front of me.
“You know how we’re going to have to make music videos for this album?” He asked and I nodded “Well for Beast and The Harlot we were thinking you would be perfect for the part of the Harlot,” He said with a shit-eating grin.
“I don’t know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult,” I said with a chuckle before clearing my throat and looking back at Matt “I just had a baby 9 months ago, I’m still trying to get my figure back, when are we talking?”
“After the tour, and yes, there will be skimpy clothing involved but you didn’t get any stretch marks when you were pregnant with Harvey so it’s not like you’re going to be self-conscious are you?” I shook my head and laughed.
The day was long, Harvey loved listening to the guys music although he was so little, when Jimmy was in the recording booth doing his parts Harvey would flail his arms around the place as if hitting the drums too, Zacky and I drew up some more ideas for VU since I was helping him run it and get everything up and running, we finished the website and blog for it too, we ate shit loads of KFC for lunch and Val and I made a beer run when the guys started to get frustrated about recording and Brian was cranky when he messed up his solo for Bat Country.
“I can’t believe the size of that fucking thing,” Val chuckled as she referred to my engagement ring, although I had told Jimmy not to he did in fact buy me a diamond engagement ring and I wore that on my ring finger and the original ring was on the same finger but on my right hand.
“I know, I did tell him not to,” I said as we pulled into the parking lot outside the liquor store “But I wanted to talk to you about something,”
“Shoot,” She said as we got out of the car.
“I know it’s early and I haven’t started planning yet, and I couldn’t possibly choose between the two of you, will you be chief bridesmaid with Rosie? I haven’t asked her yet but I’m sure she’ll say yes, but I want you both to help me with planning,” She smiled widely before screaming yes and pulling me into a massive hug my phone buzzed in my pocket.
Emmet: I’m gonna be a daddy…
Me: Dude, I know.
Emmet: No, now.
Me: Shit, I’m on my way.
“What’s going on?” Val asked as we paid for the booze.
“You’re dropping me off at the hospital, then go back to the studio, give Jimmy the car and get him to meet me in the maternity ward with Harvey, I’m about to be an aunt,” Val stared at me with wide eyes before we ran back out to the car and sped to the hospital.
