He's Yours

I stood there astonished.
“Yes! Yes! Yes!” I yelled
He got off of his knee and pulled up into his arms. When my feet were back on the ground he pulled a ring out of his pocket, it looked simple but it wasn’t simple at all. It was a gold band with diamonds all around it.
“It’s beautiful.” I said as he slid it on my left hand.
“As is the girl wearing it.” He whispered in my ear.
I pulled his face to mine and kissed him, his arms snaked around my waist and as if he knew what was going on Jimmy Junior started to cry.
“I’ll get him.” Zacky said
I smiled and walked into the kitchen to see what he was cooking, it was still in the over so I would have to wait.
“Shhh Jimmy stop crying.” Zacky said coming down the stairs
He stopped at the bottom and bounced him up in down in his arms, Jimmy stopped crying and looked around. I actually had a family. There was a knock at the door and Brian walked in and Matt followed him.
“Where’s Johnny?” I asked
“With his girlfriend.” Brian said
“Oh.” I said
“Give me Jimmy Junior?” Matt demanded
Zacky laughed and handed him the baby, he started to cry.
“Look man he just doesn’t like you.” Brian said taking the baby and shushing him “Guys so before you came in she said yes.” Zacky said
Brian handed Zacky the baby and picked me up into the air.
“Congrats.” He said
“Thanks.” I said
He put me down and Matt handed him five bucks.
“What was the money for?” I asked
“Nothing.” Matt smiled
“What were you two betting on?” Zacky asked
“Well Matt said that you weren’t even going to ask because you’re a chicken and I said that he had to give me five bucks if you did and she said yes.” Brian said
“Matt come give me a hug.” I said
He walked over and wrapped his giant arms around my waist and I smacked the back of his head and took the baby from Zacky.
“Hey.” He said
“Something smells good. What’s cookin good lookin?” Brian asked hip checking Zacky
“Whoa Brian. Playing for the other team are we?” I asked
“Never.” He laughed.
Zacky walked into the kitchen and pulled a glass pan out of the oven.
“Brice’s favorite cheesy potatoes and chicken. You guys want to stay there’s enough for you guys?” He asked
I smiled and Matt and Brian sat down at the table causing Zacky to laugh. I walked up to the nursery and grabbed Jimmy Junior’s Similac powder formula and a bottle. I walked back down to the kitchen and put warmish water in it and put three scoops of the powder in it and shook it up.
“How do you do all of that with one hand?” Matt asked with his mouth full of chicken and potatoes.
“Practice. I was a babysitter remember?” I asked
“Oh yeah, and now you’re a mom.” He said
I smiled and sat down at the table across from Brian.
“Here you go baby.” Zacky said putting a plate of food on the table in front of me. I started to feed Jimmy Junior and I held the bottle with my chin and started to eat my own food.
“With your chin?” Brian asked
“Mhm.” I hummed with a mouthful of food.
The bottle was empty in about five minutes so I set it on the table and bounced Jimmy in my left arm and finished eating with my right.
“Want me to take him to bed?” Zacky asked
I looked down at the sleeping baby and nodded, he took him and kissed my nose and walked upstairs.
“How’s it feel?” Brian asked
“How’s what feel?” I asked
“To be a mom and engaged and to have a family?” He asked
“Well it feels pretty nice to be engaged and it hurt to have a baby but I love him. Brian are you stupid? I’ve always has a family. You, Mattie, Johnny, Zacky, and Jimmy.” I said
“I guess I am stupid.” He smiled
“You’re going to be a great mom and that kid is adorable.” Matt said
“Thanks Mattie.” I said
"Who would of thought that you and Jimmy would make that cute of a kid?" Brian asked
"Brian shut up Jimmy was cute." I said
"And you're beautiful so there's how that happened." Matt said
I laughed and water came out of my nose and all over the table. Zacky was standing in the door way chuckling
