Arianna's POV

Brian and I sat patiently outside the doctor's office. Today is the day when we get to figure if the baby belong to Brian. I can tell Brian is super nervous and annoyed at how long the wait is since he won't sit still.

I grabbed his forearm.

"Brian, it's okay. I will support you." He nodded.

Five more minutes of waiting and we were guided in a room.

Inside that room, we can see Megan and the baby. I, myself is starting to feel a little uneasy. What if the baby is really Brian's? I hope it wouldn't mess with our relationship here.

We shook the doctor's hand and nodded at Megan, who returned to smile gracefully. I purposely laced Brian and my hand together and gave him a reassuring smile and grip to tell him it's okay.

"Thank you Mr.Haner for coming today for the result. The baby, Michael is..." He opened the envelope as i felt Brian squeezing my hand. "Mr. Haner, the DNA result is that ... you are the father."

"What?" He shoot up his seat.

"Hold on a minute," The doctor checked the result again. "My apologies, this is the wrong report for the wrong patient. Ms. Megan, is your last name Smith?"

"No, it's Martins."

"Then this report is wrong. Let me tell the nurse to get the proper one."

Brian slumped back into the chair and drew a heavy sigh. I know this worries him.

We heard a knock at the door and the nurse gave the doctor the result. This time, the real one.

"Megan Martins, you are the mother of Michael Martins. Mr.Haner, you are .... not biologically related to little Michael over here." The doctor announced much to the dismay of Megan and walked out the room.

I felt the grip on my hand relaxed and i knew that Brian just got a stone off his chest. Maybe he really don't want a child.

"Megan, i hope you have a good life." He said, dragging me out the room. The first thing he did, in front of many people, was to kiss me, senseless.

"Brian, people are looking at us." I mumbled between our lips.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

A Few Weeks Later

I sat at the washroom, shocked. In my hand held a plastic stick. It's positive. I am pregnant.

I honestly don't know what to do. I can't face Brian and tell him that i am pregnant and he is the father. I can't. The thing with Megan, it seemed like he was so happy that the baby is not his. I hope he doesn't feel the same.

The first thing i did was to call Zacky. I know the Brian is out today to meet with some of his old friends from school.

He picked up after a couple of rings.

"Zacky, it's Arianna."

"Hey honey, sup?"

"Wanna have lunch together?"

"Why not? Italiana is fine?"

"Yeah. I will be there at 1"

"K, love you sis." My brother cuts off the phone line.

At one o'clock, i arrived at the resturant and quickly spotted Zacky in a red plaid shirt, sitting near the back of the resturant.

He hugged me before we sat down.

"Sup?"

"Great." I said, but frowned.

"Can i tell you something Zack?"

"Shoot."

"I'm pregnant."

He smiled. "Really? That's great. Why are you so upset?"

"I don't think he likes kids. I mean, remember the thing with Megan. When the doctor told him that the child is not his, he was so happy afterward. What if he doesn't love me anymore and decided to leave me because i'm pregnant?"

"Hey hey hey, Arianna, it's fine. I am pretty sure Brian is a responsible man and plus, he loves you to death. I think he was just happy that he is not involved with Megan anymore. Don't worried about it. But seriously, i am going to be an uncle and we should celebrate it."

I laughed."But no beer, juice only, or milk."

He winced."Eww."

"Suck it."

"When are you going to tell him?"

"I don't know. Sooner or later."

Notes

I am kinda sad to say that this story will probably have one to two more chapters left and an epilogue. I am not sure if i would be writing a sequel but hope for the best ;)
