Brian's POV

Seeing Arianna happy makes me happy. I thanked God for everything, i mean everything for keeping me alive, and as a bonus, i got Arianna back with me.

After our talk, i am tired. As much as i wanted to see the guys, sleeping is really un-resistible. I finally slept after the doctor checked on me and told me i am doing fine. He gave me some painkillers to kill my surgical wounds and headache. He also told me that he wanted to keep me here in Intensive Care Unit so if any reaction happens, they will help me right away. I agreed.

I had a great sleep. I dreamed about Arianna and I, married and with kids. Wouldn't that be wonderful? I need to not fuck up again. The dream didn't last long though, and so does my sleep. When i woke up, the alarm clock reads 5:29 a.m. I jokingly think to myself, i have never been up this early before. Never. This is the only time.

I laid in bed for a couple minutes listening to the heartbeat moniter next to me. Damn Brian, your heartbeat is steady. I finally clicked the 'help' button on the top of my bed and seconds later, a nurse came in my room.

"Good morning, sir. How are ya feeling?" she asked. She seemed really nice. Her name tag reads Mary.

"Mary, i am great. Thanks for asking."

"No problem. Need help or something?"

"Well i was wondering if i am allow to leave my room since the bathroom's waiting for me." I asked.

"Well, i can assist you there. Can you stand?"

"I am actually not sure. My legs felt weak." I replied, trying to sit up. Damnit, that fucking wound hurts. I winced.

"Sir, you alright?"

"Yeah, just that wound."

"Afterwards, i can give you a painkiller that doctor left for you."

"Thanks." and i finally stood up. I kinda of stumbled when i was taking my own step and lucky, Mary was assisting me. I felt weak but i must kept going. Eventually, i felt more energy is coming back to my leg.

After i finished using the washroom, Mary helped me go back to my room. When i walked past the waiting hall, which is across from my room, i saw... Jessie.

"Is it possible i can walk around? I am fine now. I got some energy in me, you don't have to help me, Mam." I said to Mary.

"That's fine. I will be sure to drop off some water and painkiller in your room. Do you want breakfast also?"

"That would be great." I said and she walked away.

I walked towards Jessie's direction. I can tell she is very tired since she is sleeping. I am glad to see her again but i got to let her know what happened.

I gently poked her shoulder and her eyes slowly opens.

"Brian?" she exclaimed. "I thought you're dead." I took a seat next to her.

"Hey Jess. Thought you are in New York."

"I came back. Johnny called me to let me know what happened. Brian, don't ever do that shit again."

"I am sorry, Jessie."

"Don't be. Just cut of the habit and that will be fine."

"I am sorry."

"Why are you saying sorry?" she confusingly asked.

Its now or never, Haner.

"Um. Can we talk inside my room? I have something very important to tell you."

"Alright" she replied as we got up and heads toward my room.

Once we were there, i can see the little medicine container and a cup of water which i took immediately. I guess my breakfast should be here anytime so i got to tell her fast.

"Jess, please listen to me." She nodded.

"Our relationship...I ah... It's been great. I love you with all my heart and you are a great girl..." i paused. " I don't want to hurt you, but i...."

"want to end it." she finished for me. I looked at her, stunned for a second before i regain my composure.

"How you know that?"

"Brian, our relationship was great, but it was not a lover's relationship. It's more like a friend thing. I can see, in your heart and soul that the one you loved the most isn't me, it's Arianna. The way you look at her since her return," she paused. "is not the same way you look at me and i can put two pieces together, Brian. I figured the reason she left was because of you. I am not jealous though, because i know our relationship isn't meant to be and it's time to let go."

I nodded. " I am sorry, Jess."

She smiled. "No worries, Brian. We can still be friends. If you need any help, don't be afraid to call me. Even though this is over, we are still friends, right?"

"Right!"

"I actually got to go now, i have to go home. It's been a long day."

"Bye Jess. I hope you find your Prince one day." I said as she was walking towards the door. Just when she pull the door open, she said,

"I hope i am invited to your wedding. Don't fuck up, Haner." and she left.

I am so blessed to have a woman like Jessie, who is not in this for fame, fortune or money. She got a great heart and she's a beautiful young lady. I hope she find love one day. But enough about her, Arianna is my top priority .
