Celestia Montgomery-Sixx, no she’s not Nikki Sixx’s 3rd wife…she is his eldest child. Not many people know about her because she was born out of wed lock in the early days of Motley Crue’s stardom, Nikki has known about her, so does all of his family & only his close friends including Motley Crue. She remains unknown per her request; she doesn’t want the fame that comes with being the bastard child of a famous rock legend.

Celestia was born not long after the video for ‘Looks That Kill’ hit MTV air waves, Nikki was a proud papa but soon the sex, drugs & rock n’ roll took it’s toll. When Celestia was 2 years old, her mom was fed up with the life style Nikki chose to lead & moved clear across the country from Los Angeles, CA to her mother’s home town of Vidalia, GA hoping to give her child a normal life.

When Nikki sobered up, he regained contact with his daughter; Celestia hadn’t let him waltz back into her life easy. She definitely made him pay for all the missed birthdays, Christmases, school plays, everything he missed during his rock n’ roll hay days. Once he settled down with his first wife Brandi Brandt, she made regular trips out to California to see him & her half-siblings, even though Brandi never really liked Celestia she dealt with it because Nikki & her children really loved her. Soon after the bitter divorce from Brandi, Celestia’s mother Renee was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Celestia was crushed, her mom was her best friend in the entire world & the thought of losing her mom to such a disease made her sick. She was by her mom’s side for the entire 4 years she battled the disease before she lost the battle. Not long after losing her mom, Celestia moved back to her birth place of Los Angeles to live with her father since she had no other family in Vidalia to stay with. By this time he was married to Donna D’errico & had Frankie-Jean. After the divorce with Donna, Nikki swore off marriage but not love.

Celestia went to college for music engineering & got a job at a record company. She was living on her own, not far from her father of course but she made a name for herself, all on her own, no help from her father which they were both proud of. And no one ever made the connection; she used her mother’s last name & only used the last name “Sixx” on official documents such as her birth certificate, doctor office info, driver’s license, etc.

But in recent months with the tough economy Celestia had been laid off & finding a new job was no easy task especially in Los Angeles. She was now 27, unemployed & was on the verge of losing her apartment if she didn’t find some way to make rent soon.

Celestia was sitting at her dad’s house eating their weekly family dinner he made all his kids attend. Sitting at the dinner table everyone talking about their week, Celestia sighed pushing the pasta on her plate around which made her dad & siblings look at her funny since pasta was one of her absolute favorites, not to mention she was always the life of the dinner’s. Once everyone was finished, Nikki asked Celestia to help him clean up, so he could talk to her.

In the kitchen helping her dad wash the dishes from that night’s dinner, Celestia was in a daze until her father’s voice snapped her out of it.

“OK what’s wrong?” Nikki asked as he put the dishes in the dish washer.

“Nothing dad.” Celestia replied in a non convincing tone

“Bullshit, tell me what’s wrong.” Nikki persisted

“Well you know I got laid off right?”

“Yeah, you told me.”

”Well I still can’t find a job & I’m about to lose my apartment if I can’t find some way to make rent.” Celestia sighed as she handed her dad the last dish.

“Honey I’ll pay for your apartment.” Nikki offered as he started the dish washer.

“Dad you know how I feel about that. I want to work for it on my own.” Celestia said sitting on the island in the kitchen.

“God you’re stubborn.” Nikki said leaning against the sink

“I wonder who I got that from...” Celestia said smirking at Nikki

“OK so I may have had a little bit to do with it, but honey why don’t you just let me help you till you get back on your feet.”

“No dad! You want to help me, find me a job.” Celestia sighed; no sooner then she said it a light bulb went off in Nikki’s head.

“I will! We’re starting on Crue Fest this weekend; I can get you a job working, doing something backstage. Like my assistant.” Nikki said.

“Maybe, but I don’t want you throwing your weight around & me getting special treatment because I’m your daughter. I want to work doing the toughest job on tour…I want to be a roadie.”

“Are you mental? You are not being a roadie!”

“Dad! Those are my terms, if you want to help as much as you say you do.”

Sighing Nikki ran his hands over his face.

“OK but I have terms of my own. Number one, Ricky the head roadie will keep a close eye on you, number two, you will not travel on the same bus as the roadies, after each show you will sneak onto the motley crue bus & you will stay with us. I respect that you want to do stuff on your own & you want to stay out of the spotlight, so you can use your mom’s last name on the staff passes & we won’t tell anyone you are my daughter. Deal?” Nikki said holding out his hand waiting for his daughter to shake on it.

Celestia thought about it & smiled, shaking her dad’s hand before hugging him & kissing his cheek.

“Thank you daddy!” Celestia said more cheerful then she was.

“You’re welcome, we leave Friday morning at 5am, I’ll pick you up & we’ll ride to the buses together.”

“Sounds great! Who are the bands for this tour?”

“Motley Crue & Sixx AM of course, along with Avenged Sevenfold & Papa Roach.” Nikki said as they walked into the living room watching Decker argue with Gunner over a video game they were playing.

“Awesome!” Celestia said before covering Gunner’s eyes making him not cheat against Decker. The siblings then began to wrestle each other on the floor, laughing as Nikki just shook his head & laughed.

Friday morning:

Celestia yawned her long black hair in a messy bun on top of her head, what could she say she was blessed with her father’s hair. She was dressed in baggy grey stretch pants, a black tank top & a black zip up hoodie, with her favorite pair of Nike’s on her feet. She was standing in the parking lot with her suitcase & duffle bag waiting for Nikki to pick her up. He had called her & told her he was 2 minutes away from her apartment building.

She was ready for this new job, it was completely different from what she did at the record label & she liked the idea of the change. Soon Gunner’s car pulled up since Gunner was dropping Nikki & Celestia off at the buses. Nikki got out of the car helping Celestia put her bags in the trunk.

“Morning Gunner!” Celestia said climbing in the back seat, receiving a grumble in response from him.

“He’s mad because I made him take us to the buses this early.” Nikki said while fiddling with his iPhone as Gunner took off to take them to the buses.

“Just look at it this way Gun, the sooner you get rid of us the sooner you can go home & go back to bed.” Celestia said as Gunner nodded in agreement

“Thank God!” Gunner mumbled.

Soon they were at the buses Motley Crue were the first ones to get on their buses, the rest of the bands hadn’t shown up yet. So it gave Celestia ample time to get on the bus before anyone of any importance spotted her & her “cover” was blown.

“Good Morning little one!!” Tommy said scooping Celestia up in a bear hug

“Uncle Tommy it is too early in the morning why are you so cheerful?” Celestia said

“He got into the Starbucks & red bull.” Mick grumbled from his spot on the couch.

“Hey Uncle Mick, so where’s Uncle Vinny?” Celestia asked sitting next to Mick

“Late as usual…” Nikki groaned rolling his eyes.

They all got settled in, and started talking when Vince finally showed up. Getting settled the bus pulled off, Motley Crue was the first band on the road to the first stop of Crue Fest.
