Friday and Saturday nights, were the nights that people my age would be out clubbing, partying, getting drunk and laid. Though for me, I haven’t had a night to myself in a long while—probably six to seven years. From a one night stand, if you will call it that, I came out with two surprises.

Two of the best surprises I could ever love more than anything in this world, my twins Blayke James and Baylee Jane, who are both seven.

My twins were everything to me, they’re the reason why I’m alive. They’re mine, but it breaks my heart when they ask about their daddy. The questions, “Why doesn’t my daddy love us?” or “Where is my daddy?”, and even, “When can we see daddy?” those just break my hearts.

I never wanted them to know that their father was an asshole. He and I got together in college, the first night we actually had sex—which was months after we got together— he left me. Just like that, alone and we never spoke again.

The bakery I own with my best friend, Colby, suggested that I make a profile on a dating website. He, after all, is one of the pros of the dating website, since he met his husband on there. After several occasions and times of thinking about it, I decided to do one.
