~~~ Bella's pov ~~~

{ " you stupid fucking bitch!! What the hell are you going to do with that baby?!" An older overweight man yelled, making the beer splash from its bottle as he angrily waved his arms about.

" But jon..... I always thought you wanted a child. I did this for us" the woman cried as she clung on to the tightly bundled baby in her arms.

" your dumber than I thought barb!! Why the fuck would I want some crying, shitting little brat?!" He cackled at the woman as she broke down into sobs. As she cried his laughter drowned her out. She left the small run down apartment and walked down the street till she came to a large brick building with vines and weeds crawling up the sides. She slowly made her way up the stone steps and kneeled down placing the bundled baby on the cement ground infront of the door. She knocked twice and with that vanished into the night.

back at the apartment the woman ran into the hallway bathroom as her husband cackled and taunted her at her return without the child. She slammed the bathroom door and reached down into one of the cabbinets below the sink. Retrieving a small metallic hand gun and promptly placing the barrel in her mouth. She released a bullet into the chamber and pulled the trigger. A thunderous gun shot rang through the entire building as her limp body fell the the blood splattered tile floor. Suddenly I was surrounded by darkness, I stood frozen, afraid to move.

" Don't let one person take away your happiness. Fight for the life you deserve" a ghostly female voice softly spoke. In that moment the blackness was illuminated as my whole life played before me like a movie. The low times as well as the good. The excited faces of my birth parents as they layed eyes on me for the first time and the joy that filled me when I had finally gotten my family. The tears began to burn my eyes as the darkness fell back upon me and I could no longer see. }

" Bella! Bella!" I came to, seeing jimmy hovering over me as soon as I opened my eyes. My vision blurred by tears.

" Are you okay?" Jimmy asked with concern dripping from every pore. I somberly shook my head yes and wiped the tears from my face. Just then the woman's haunting voice repeated what she had told me In the darkness, making me realize that she was right and that this wasn't just all about me. It was also about my families happiness. How could I be so selfish to just run off because of one person and rob my parents of something they've wanted for so long. I got up off the bed and grabbed my cellphone with jimmy watching me cautiously. I felt ten times worse when I turned my phone on seeing numerous missed calls and texts from Val. But it further motivated me to do what I needed to do. I cleared my phone and began dialing.

" Yes, I need two one way tickets to Huntington Beach" I said to the agent. I looked over at jimmy seeing as he eyed me wih a surprised expression. I smiled warmly and jotted down our flight info.

" Well jimmy, lets go home"

~~~ Val's pov ~~~

i sat in the living room trying my hardest to focus on the tv show I had on. But my mind always kept shifting back to Bella as well as having to lie to my parents at dinner last night about why she wasn't there. When in all reality I had absolutely no clue where she was and if she was even ok. But I decided it was best to keep them in the dark about this until I knew for sure. I heard the front door shut, I payed little mind to it figuring it was just Matt back from the studio.

"Val" her voice was like music to my ears. I jumped up from the couch and hurried over to where she was. I was slightly confused to see jimmy with her but I grabbed Bella into my arms squeezing her tight.

" Oh my god Bella! I was worried sick! Are you ok? What happened?" I rattled off in a releaved yet panicked tone. She looked down as I released her from my arms.

" Well see I thought I would take her out and give her a tour of the ol' stomping grounds. And ya well apart of that tour involved Johnny's bar and we both got really trashed and we stayed in a hotel" jimmy quickly said, making me take my eyes off of Bella. He flashed me a smile, shrugging his shoulders. I eyed them both carefully. I wasn't one hundred percent sure if I believed him or not. But the most important thing was that Bella was safe and she was home.

" I'm gonna go take a shower and then go see Debbie and nick" Bella said as she made her way up the steps.

" Thanks again jimmy" she called out as she dissapeared into the bathroom. I turned to jimmy as we stayed standing in the foyer.

" Something isn't right jimmy" I sighed. He gently shook his head, aknowledging that indeed something was up. I didn't know if she had told him about Brian's advances or about Michelle's blow up. But I decided not to say anything about it and let her come to us when she is ready.
