My Little Piece of Heaven

After school, Matt took me home, saying he would be here at seven. I hugged him goodbye and skipped into the kitchen to get a water bottle. Mom was in there, I was still a little mad at her from last night.
"Hey Dusti," she said, looking up from her laptop. "How was school?"
"It was school," I said and walked out of the kitchen and jumped up the steps to the bathroom.
I took a shower, taking extra time on washing my hair and shaving my legs. I stayed in there for another 30 minutes, just letting the water fall over my body.
I got out and wrapped a towel around myself and ran into my room to get ready. I started to blow dry my hair, leaving it just a little damp while I got dressed.
A purple and black, strapless, knee length dress and black two inch strappy heels. I put on some dangly silver earrings in my first hole, and studs in my other two. I changed out my snakebites to a metallic purple and my industrials to a metallic black. I also put on a dream catcher necklace that had a black stud in the middle.
I then proceeded to curl my hair, it had dried fully while I was getting dressed. I sprayed it with a metric fuck ton of hairspray so the curls wouldn't fall out. I then started on my makeup. Thickish eyeliner on the top, and purple eyeshadow. I like purple, okay? I put on some liner on my water line and called it good. I put on my mascara and put everything away.
I checked the time, 6:45. 15 minutes until Matt is here.
I walked downstairs to see mom sitting in her laptop, still.
"Hey, Dusti. Why are you all dressed up?" She asked, looking up from her laptop.
"Matt's taking me out. All fancy and shit." I replied.
"That was sure fancy of you," she commented.
"Yeah, yeah," waved her off as I walked into the living room to watch tv.
15 minutes of crappy tv and Matt finally shows up.
"Hey, Dustin." He greeted, smiling, flashing his dimples.
"Hay Matt," I smiled July at him. I had to admit, him all dressed up was hot. "See ya later mom!"
"Bye Dustin!" She called back.
"You look great," Matt commented.
"Thanks," I blushed. "You don't look bad yourself."
"Well you ready to go?" He asked, grabbing my hand and walking towards the car.
"Of course!" I chirped happily.
"So, where are we going?" I asked curiously as he got into the car.
"Just a restaurant," he said as he started up his car.
"Yeah, sure," I said, smiling.
He just laughed and drove off to the restaurant.
