High school was hell for everyone in their own way. In my case, I was an outcast—I was the new girl every year. I moved from a small city in South Georgia. My father was in the SEALs and was stationed in California at SEAL Beach.

Instead of living on base, my mom and I moved down the coast to a place called Huntington Beach; it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life. The scenery, the people, and the sense of this place made it what it was.

Huntington Beach High was the newest school to claim me. Thanks to the big man above, my cousin wen there! Maybe I won't such an outcast now.
