It had been a lethargic day, which was leading into a rather lethargic night. I was sitting on the sofa with Val, Leana, Lacey, and Gena. Almost everyone was home again. Even though I didn’t want to tell anyone else but Matt, Val, Jimmy, and Leana, the others ended up figuring it out rather quickly. The guys were all at Johnny’s Bar, and the girls all stayed home because they didn’t want me to feel alone if everyone left. Benji however, after a long argument went back to his house. Especially after Val stepped in and told him to.

We were all having your basic girls night in which consists of junk food and movies. Until we all heard the fly open, revealing a very stressed looking Brian. He came over to where I was sitting, ignoring the death glares from the other girls around me.
“Can we talk?” he asked softly, holding out his hand. I had a million thoughts going through my mind at once, part of me wanted to be a bitch, and then part of me wanted nothing more then to talk to him and tell him he’s going to be a father. I hesitantly took his hand and we walked upstairs to my room.

Brian shut the door as I continued walking to sit on my bed, where joined me. Neither one of us said anything for a minute until he spoke up,
“So I got a call from Matt today, he told me I needed to come home. He said something was wrong…” He trailed off unsure of what to say next. I didn’t say anything as I felt my eyes begin to tear up. It was something about the worried sick and the tiredness in his eyes that just made me want to tell him, I couldn’t keep this from him. That would be wrong of me to, and if I did then I would surely regret it in the end. I was scared shitless to tell him that I was pregnant and that he was the father, I was terrified of how he would react. It was now or never to tell him the truth.
“Brian…” I finally managed to squeak out, “I’m pregnant. You’re going to be a father.” I finished speaking softly.
“What?” he stated almost inaudibly. I grabbed his hand and placed it on the small bump I had started to grow within the last week.
“You are going to be a father.” I restated, he looked from me to my stomach and to me again before he nearly tackled me on to the bed with a kiss. We parted for air, and I couldn’t help but smile at the shit eating grin that graced his face. He moved and started placing butterfly kisses all over my stomach with cause me to laugh softly.
“I’m going to be a daddy!” He shouted enthusiastically, which only caused me to smile more. “Oh I can’t wait to tell the whole world, but first I-” I cut him off.
“Brian, it’s probably better no one knows.” I stated solemnly, which caused him to look at me. “You have a girlfriend who I am assuming you left in New York, considering she’s not attached to your hip.” he looked at me for a moment before he sat down on the bed next to me. He turned so he was looking me dead in the eye,
“Aidan, your going to be giving me something Michelle doesn’t want to give me. Your going to give me the chance to be a father. Why on earth do you think I would stay with some one like her, when your going to be the mother of my child. I’ll be damned if I don’t give my child both of it’s parents. I don’t want our child growing up in separate homes. And besides Aidan, I love you. It took me a week away from everything around here to realized that I, Brian Elwin Haner Jr. love you Aidan Donegan.” I was beginning to tear up all over again by the time he was done speaking,
“I love you too, Brian. But you still have one other issue to deal with.” I stated softly, he looked at me puzzled. “you have to deal with the four women down stairs, as well as the four men at Johnny’s bar, and Benji.” He looked at me almost nervously and gulped.
“I guess I fucked up didn’t I?” I nodded. He let out a sigh as he stood up, holding his hand out for me.
“What are you doing?” I asked as he gently pulled me along with him.
“I figure if I have you with me they won’t kill me.” he stated giving me his signature cocky grin.

It felt like it had been hours since we walked down the stairs so Brian could talk to the girls. When in all actuality it had only been about 20 minutes. The girls weren’t holding any of their opinions back, Val started on about being pissed he cheated on her sister, but now she was yelling at him for being stupid and knocking me up. Gena was calling him every name in the book but a man, and Lacey was threatening him. Leana just stared at him with a look that could kill. A few more minutes had passed until we heard the door open, and the rest of the avenged men walked inside, calm looks on all their faces. Which scared the fuck out of me, and they weren’t even mad at me. The only one out of them to say anything was Jimmy,
“You! You scumbag! How the fuck could you go and do something like that Brian! What the fuck is wrong with you!?” Jimmy managed to slip out from in between the guys and started to charge right at Brian. Before Jimmy could do anything, I jumped in the middle of him and Brian. Jimmy froze, with his fist still cocked back in the air ready to hit Brian. Everyone was starring at us, Brian was the only one to say anything.
“Aidan…what are you doing.”
“Yeah…Aidan, I almost fucking hit you!” Jimmy stated obviously.
“Jimmy…I am not going to let you hit the father of my child. Everyone here knows Brian has fucked up, and he is going to make up for it. But beating him sense less is not going to help anyone. Now I am going to go upstairs and go to bed because I have to go talk to Larry in the morning. good night.” and after I said that I headed straight up stairs with Brian right behind me.
