~~~ Brian's pov ~~~
a smile spread across my face as I felt the warmth of the morning sun peeking through the blinds. Today we were going home. It had only been a month, but it felt like an eternity. Don't get me wrong I love my job and our fans more than anything, but I was ready to get home and see Frankie. I sprung out of bed and quickly collected all my belongings that were strewn around my hotel room, stuffing them into my bag. I decided since I had time, to skip breakfast with the guys and take a shower, so I wouldn't look like a complete slob when I saw Frankie.
" Hey bri, I brought you some breakfast" I heard zacky yell from outside the bathroom.
" thanks dude, ill be out in a minute" I responded as I just stood under the shower head letting the water run down my body. In all actuality I was finished showering a good five minutes ago, but it relaxed me for the moment.
" Are you nervous? " zacky said. The closeness of his voice Startling me at first, being that he was now in the bathroom. I could see his silhouette hop up and sit on the bathroom counter through the fogged glass shower door.
" don't worry man, your definitely not alone in that. I'm more ready than ever to get home to her, but I know there's also a lot of shit all of us are going to have to talk about too" I said, my relaxed demeanor turning tense at the thought. Even though zacky and I had resolved our own differences and made our final decision that we were all going to have to be one big happy family. The dark looming cloud of Angela and a very pregnant Michelle still hung above our heads. Zacky had pretty much done his best to avoid Angela the whole tour, deciding it was best to deal with her face to face. I on the other hand tried my best to smooth things out with Michelle the best I could while we've been gone. But despite my best attempts to remain civil and calm it always needed up in a screaming match at the end of every phone call. She would just not let up on the fact that she wanted us back together for the baby. And that she still refuses to sign the divorce papers. I hoped and prayed that she was bluffing on the pregnancy situation, but I saw it with my own eyes in black and white from her doctor who sent me the documents. The only ray of hope I still had left was that its not my kid, and that's exactly what I intend to find out when we do the paternity test. Luckily our last tour stop was only about six hours from home, zacky and I opted to drive his car back. Wanting some down time to clear our heads on the way back. The rest of the guys flew back and had left right after breakfast.
" alright dude, lets go get our woman" zacky said as he unlocked his car. The ride was mostly silent, except for our discussion on a certain topic we've been mulling around the whole tour. As we got closer to our new house I could see zackys knuckles turn white as he tightly gripped his steering wheel. I chuckled lightly at him until I looked down realizing I had was gripping my knees just as hard. Our excitement and nerves were definitely getting the best of us.
" woah" I gasped as zacky turned into our driveway. Frankie had sent us pictures of the house, but they did it no justice. It was absolutely stunning.
" ya, no shit" zacky replied awe struck. After ten minutes of just sitting in the parked car we finally got out, leaving our bags in the car till later and made our way to the front door.
" should we knock?" Zacky asked, shrugging his shoulders. It was strange coming home to a new house for the both of us. I reached out grabbing the knob and turning, slightly surprised to find it unlocked. We both slowly stepped in, quietly shutting the door behind us. The glorious smell of home cooked food flooded my nostrils as I took in my surroundings.
" well zacky, were home" I smiled, patting zacky on his back.
" Frankie baby! Your lover boys are home!" I yelled out, not sure where she was.
" zacky! Brian!" She exclaimed as she busted out from the swinging kitchen door. It was like time stood still in that moment. My heart felt like it was going to explode with love and joy. She simply glowed, and looked exceptionally beautiful. Her petite frame was wrapped in a green little sun dress that snuggled her huge baby belly. Zacky and I both chuckled as she excitedly waddled towards us, it was too cute. once she made it over she grabbed us both into a big hug.
" I missed you two assholes so much!!!" She said, her voice cracking as she teared up.
" hey! Why do we gotta be assholes?" I whined, once we ended our hug. She placed her hands on her hips staring up at the both of us.
" I saw you two laugh at me when I came out" she said in a sassy tone, a smile playing on her lips.
" Aww baby, but your just so cute when you waddle" zacky cooed, grabbing her into his arms.
" Ya ya ya, I'm gonna waddle my foot up both your asses!" She shot back playfully, smacking both zacky and I on the arm.
" Now come on boys, I made you guys a special welcome home dinner" she said ushering us to the dinning room. We sat and talked and ate for hours, catching up on every last detail of what we have all been up to. After zacky and I cleared the plates and cleaned the kitchen while Frankie searched for a movie on t.v.
" There's nothing good on! And I think we're out of ice cream....." Frankie pouted from the living room, causing zacky and I to chuckle as we finished up the last of the dishes. I saw zackys face light up as he noticed something on the counter that caught his attention. He looked over to me as I noticed what he was getting at. I shot him a wink and slipped the object into my pocket.
" Don't worry babe. We can go to the store and get some Ice cream and a movie" zacky said as he made his way out of the kitchen. Frankie eagerly accepted and left with zacky a few minutes later. Now it was my turn to execute my part of me and zackys plan we've been discussing. I thought it was going to be a lot more difficult, but it seemed the odds were in our favor for once.i checked out the window making sure they were gone. Once the coast was clear I grabbed my car keys and headed to my destination. My errand went smoothly and I was back home within twenty minutes, relieved that I beat them back to the house. I sent zacky a text letting him know we're clear In case he was stalling till I got back. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed some popcorn packs out of the cupboard tossing them into the microwave. I took a beer from the fridge and as I was about to pop the top I heard the sound of breaking glass in the living room. I shook myself from the startle it gave me figuring the dog must have just ran into the table knocking something over. Beer in hand I swung the kitchen door open, and sure enough there was a broken picture frame smashed to pieces at my feet.
" Shit" I grumbled to myself. I sat my beer on a nearby table and turned to go back in the kitchen and grab the broom and dust pan.
" You've always been so bad at remembering to lock the door Brian" I slowly turned as Michelle's voice wafted through the air. A chill ran down my spine as she was now standing directly infront of me.
" Michelle, what the fuck are you doing here" I snapped, number one, not wanting to deal with her at all especially on my first day back. And number two, she just waltzed in her on her own and broke a picture. A devilish grin spread across her face as she closed the gap between us.
" no matter how hard you resist Brian I know you still want me" she purred as she threw her arms around my neck, running her fingers through my hair. I could feel my blood begin to boil with every touch, she just wouldn't fucking listen!
" Miche......" Was all I got out before she smashed her lips to mine, catching me off guard. at that exact second I heard the front door open and the rustle of grocery bags.
" What the fuck!" I heard both Frankie and zacky shout in unison at the sight before them.
