Welcome to the Family, Adrian!
Chapter Twenty Six
"Gross, gross, gross," I called out as I searched through the pantry for food. "Does dad not know what a teenager likes to eat!?"
"He should," Jimmy noted, sitting on the counter. "I mean, I basically live here,"
"Youre not a teenager," I noted.
"I'm pretty damn close!"
"Yeah, this is true,"
"Jimmy? Adrian?" Dad called.
"In the kitchen!" I called back.
"What are you guys doing?" Dad asked.
"Gossiping," jimmy said in a girly voice.
"Totally," I mocked.
"I see. Are you two hungry?"
"Let's see here," I pretended to think. "Yes! You have no food,"
"She's right, you don't. And you should feel ashamed." Jimmy noted, jumping off the counter and running to the door.
"I guess were leaving then," Dad noted as he followed Jimmy through the door. "Jimmy!"
"Yeth mathter?" Jimmy called back with a fake lisp.
"Where do you want to go?" Dad asked.
"Iunno," Jimmy shrugged. "Adrian?"
"MCDONALDS!" I yelled, marching to the car.
"YOURE A GENIUS!" Jimmy yelled back, making his way to the car as well.
"And you guys are idiots," dad muttered, getting in the car and pulling out of the driveway.
~4 hours later~
"Hey Adrian?" Jimmy called from the couch.
"Hey Jimmy?" I copied.
"How's Alex doing?" He asked sillily.
"I don't know," I said, more as a realization. "I haven't talked to him since yesterday."
"You should tell him to come over."
"Okay, but he doesn't know about what happened," I noted pulling out my phone.
"We can tell him when he gets here."
"Alright." I said, texting Alex, saying that he should come over.
"Where did your dad go?"
"I don't know," I shrugged as my phone went off.
-alright, be there in 10- Al
"Alex will be here in ten," I told Jimmy, tossing my phone onto the coffee table.
"Adrian!" Dad called. "Can you come here please?"
"Yeah!" I called back, getting up and running up the stairs to dads 'study'. "Yes father?"
"I just got off the phone with Valary," he said. "And she suggested that we get you into counseling."
"What?"
"Well she said you went through consoling and it helped when this happened before,"
"It didn't." I stated.
"Why did she tell me it did?"
"Because I pretended it did. I just wanted out of there."
"Well let's just try it again."
"Fine."
"THE GREAT AND POWERFUL ALEX IS HERE!!" Jimmy yelled.
"Yay!" I squealed, running down the steps and jumping into Alex's back.
"He should," Jimmy noted, sitting on the counter. "I mean, I basically live here,"
