*Brian's POV*

Maybe it's my inner musician coming into play at a time of panic, but I couldn't help think of poetic lines to represent how I feel right now.

I can't go on this way,
Not as I am today
The ugly side of me is strong.

"Dude! Fucking watch the road!" Zacky shouted as I snapped out of my daze, swerving onto the street.
"Shit! Sorry man." I answered.
"It's cool..Hell I'd rather die that way than have Matty do to us whatever he's got planned.." Zacky replied.
"Shut up man. He's not gonna hurt us. He's our brother. He just needs some time to cool down." I suggested.
" 'Cool down'?! We just murdered his girlfriend! He will not be 'cooling down' any time soon, if at all." Zacky argued. There was a silence, then I finally got the nerve to ask,
"You don't think the band will break up, do you?"
"That thought occurred to me to, I don't think so. I think we all care too much about it to see it die like this. Avenged is life man, has been that way since we were fifteen." Zacky pointed out.
"And always will be." I insisted.
"Forever." He agreed.

The rest of the drive to the park was silent. A scared silence. I didn't think Matty would do anything to us, but he wasn't exactly above doing that either. The amount of fights Matty had gotten into on this very playground I don't even remember, but it was quite frequent.
I turned off the ignition to the car and we both just sat in the silence. The sky was growing darker by the minute, and pretty soon we wouldn't be able to see anything. I stepped out first, slowly opening my car door and putting my keys in my pocket.Their clink had been so loud compared to the silence the last ten minutes had.
Matty was on the swings, holding something in his hand as he lightly swung back and forth, eyes so fixed on this item.

A leather jacket.

A leather jacket now ruined, soaked in the blood of a girl. Matty spotted us walking as we got closer and he shot us a look I can't even describe. Just full of hate, disgust, disappointment, and vengeance seeking. Oh no...

Me and Matty had only ever gotten into one other fight, ever. It was tenth grade. School had just started back up again and the homecoming dance was fast approaching. I had my eye on this one girl I thought was perfect. Her name was Alexandria. She had long, beautiful black hair, a flawless face, and listened to metal, just like me. I think I speak for everyone when I say metal chicks are freaking hot. Anyway, I wanted her bad. The only problem? So did Matty. I knew he liked her, he knew I liked her. We knew that this meant war.
In the end, she ended up going with Matty because he'd asked her in a cuter way, but that's not my point. My point is that Sevenfold bros don't fight. We love each other more than anything. This isn't right.

"You two wanna fucking explain?" Matty asked, holding up the jacket. Zacky and I were like two kids getting yelled at by the principal again. Except this time was very different. A phone call home wouldn't end this mess. I wish I could find the words, but I couldn't. I couldn't explain. Well, I could, but I knew the last thing he wanted to hear was my voice.
"Well?" Matty asked impaitently. Maybe I was wrong.
"Well, you see Matty.." Zacky began.
"I don't wanna hear your bullshit, Baker." Matty interupted. I was right, it was best to not speak.
"You killed her. You really did it." Seven simple words Matty said pierced me like a knife. Oh..that was a poor word choice..
Zacky and I exchaned a worried look. Where was Matty going with this?
