*Still Zacky's POV*

I nudged Brian as the girl continued talking. They were pretty focused on each other, so they couldn't hear us.
"What?" He asked after I'd nudged him.
"Dude, check out the time." I said, giving him a look.
"Uh, okay. 1:32. Woohoo?" He answered, confused.
"Dude! Let's go to the mall and buy a ring. You can propose tonight!" I suggested. He didn't seem too sold on the idea.
"I don't know, maybe I should wait. I'm really nervous man, I've never done this before..But I really do love her man."
"I know you do. And she loves you! She's having your twins for Christ's sake, are you honestly thinking there's a chance she'd say no?" I asked. He didn't answer, he knew I was right. I knew I'd made a good point and so did he. He nodded his head confidently, gaining more assurance by the second.
"You're right man, let's just fucking do this!" He said enthusiastically.
"My keys are still in my pocket, let's just take my car." I said. Brian nodded and we both stood up.
"Where you guys going? The party's just begun!" Lucy explained. I smiled.
"There's something Brian really wants to buy at the mall, we'll be right back. Just stay here and hang, we'll celebrate when we get back. Love you!" I shouted back as Brian and I walked out the front door, leaving both Mia and Lucy confused.

*Brian's POV*

Oh man oh man. I'm finally gonna do it. I'm finally gonna propose to Mia. I've been wanting to do this for a while. I totally would've done it when she found out she was pregnant, but at the point we'd only known each other for about a week, and I thought she'd be freaked out, and she probably would've been at that point. But now that we've been together for a while, and know exactly how we feel about each other, I think we're ready. I want my kids to have a Mommy and a Daddy, a husband and a wife. Zacky broke my daydream by asking,
"So what kinda ring you think you'll get?" I hadn't even begun to think about that. And to be honest, I didn't care and I knew she didn't either. I knew I loved her, she knew she loved me, at this point I'm just putting a ring on her finger to prove it.
We walked past Hot Topic in the mall, only to see our own faces pictured on the door along with the rest of the band. It was a poster promoting the tour we'd finished months ago.
We made conversation as we passed store until we finally arrived at the jeweler. I walked inside, nervous yet confident at the same time. Pretty contradictory feelings. I don't even know, my nerves are all over the place right now.
"Hello gentlemen, how can I help you today?" Asked a salesman. I took a deep breath and asked,
"Got any engagement rings?" He laughed and answered,
"Of course, follow me. Come over here and I'll show you our vast collection of fine assorted rings." Zacky gave me a look and mocked the sales person,
"Our vaast collection of fineee assorted rings." He said under his breath, sending me laughing. He knew how to lighten the mood when I was feeling nervous as fuck.
"See any you like?" The sales person asked, gesturing to the dozens of rings in front of him. They were all nice and shiny, but one in particular stood out to me.
"Can I get a closer look at this one?" I asked. The sales person nodded and took the ring out from the display case. The ring had a golden band, and a huge diamond right in the center. It was simple, yet beautiful, just like Mia.
"I'll take it." I said confidently. Zacky patted me on the back and smiled.
"Good choice man. I know she'll love it." He said happily. I smiled back and said,
"Thanks man. Thanks for coming, thanks for taking me, just thanks. You really are always there for me. I love you man." I pulled him into a bro hug and we stared to get stares from the surrounding people.
"Dude, I think this whole mall now thinks we're gay.." Zacky trailed, breaking our hug.
"SYNACKY IS REAL!" I shouted, pumping my fist in the air.
the sales man came out of a supply closet with the ring. It was wrapped all perfect in a little box with a bow on top.
"Here you are sir." He said as he handed me the ring. I smiled and paid and we left the store. Now all that's left is to go home and make Mia mine forever.
