"I've got it! I have it! It's amazing, it's genius and you can thank me later!" Jimmy shouted as he walked through Matty's front door the next morning. He was holding pieces of paper.
"Whatcha got Jimbo?" I asked. He shook his head and replied,
"Sorry, you know I love you but you're still a fan. This is classified information that may or may not have to do with a new song." I piped up.
"A new song? Finally! It feels like it's been forever."
"You're right. Maybe I should go into another coma so the guys can get inspired and write more songs." Jimmy said, tapping his chin.
"Please, God no Jimmy. I love you, and I already cried enough over one nightmare album, let alone two. What's the song about?" I asked, wanting to change the subject. He just smiled and said,
"He cannot fight alone," mysteriously as he walked away. Boy did that boy confuse me.
"James Owen Sullivan, are you giving her spoilers?" Zacky asked from the kitchen.
"No!" Jimmy shouted. He added, "And you better not either! No matter how many times she agrees to let you touch her." Jimmy was in the basement at this point and in musican mode. The basement was where all the guys went to work on upcoming music. And play video games, but mostly music.
Zacky came into the living room, two bowls of macaroni and cheese in his hand. He set them infront of us.
"Lunch is served my darling." He said, kissing my cheek. I smiled and shoved a huge spoonful into my mouth. Johnny came through the door.
"Yooo! Zacky made macky! Is there anymore?" He asked hopefully. Zacky laughed and nodded.
"In a pot on the kitchen, help yourself." We ate our macaroni while I caught up on Pretty Little Lairs.
"I don't know how you keep up with these shows." Zacky said, shaking his head. He had a million questions and I was happy to answer them all.
"Who's that?" He asked.
"That's Caleb, we like him." I answered.
"Now who's that?"
"That's Toby. We like him to."
"Why doesn't he ever have a shirt on?"
"Don't question it, just love it." Zacky rolled his eyes at first, but by the end he started getting into it.
"Wait, so who's Redcoat?" He asked. I rolled my eyes.
"That's what we're all wondering darling." I answered with a smile. We talked for a bit and then Bella came over. Ever since Jimmy brought up the thing about dogs and kids being the best judges of character, I've been really paying attention to Bella. Trying to figure out what it was that was wrong with her. She seemed perfectly fine. I wasn't quite used to her yet, so I was still pretty awkward around her. We made small talk until Matty came up from the basement, along with Jimmy and Johnny from their jam session.
"Dude. This song is gonna be kick-ass." Johnny said.
"It'll be our best record yet!" Jimmy said happily. He then saw that Bella was with us. He gave me a sly smile and then said,
"Oh hello Bella."
"Hi, Jimmy." Bella responded as Matty put his arm around her. We all sat around until night fell, and Brian and Mia came over. Bella was begining to act pretty weird around those two. Almost hostile towards Mia.
"Hey, Bri!" She'd said happily. She didn't say anything to Mia.
"Do I not exist?" Mia mouthed to me. I shrugged. I was just as confused as she was. Bella was acting particularly friendly towards Brian, and only Mia, Jimmy and I seemed to be picking up on it. After she left and everyone else had gone for the night, Mia and I talked over text.
