Matt's my favorite too when he's being the leader. It's like that comes naturally from him, as far as I've seen him doing interviews :)

As for the chapter, boy, Erika doesn't seem too fond of Brian. But Matt's totally in her good books! This is getting interesting :D

I really like your Brian, like you said, a little cocky, assholish, but with a nice heart. As about Matt, I always think of him as a leader, so I always like him to take charge. But I think he is a really nice guy too, so that is how I always picture him. Not taking bullshit, but really kindhearted :)

Cocky Brian is the best Brian though, I'm a sucker for it.
I've always written Matt a little short-tempered, more of a smart ass joker type around his friends, and very protective. So maybe that'll give you some ideas?

I really like this! I think you should write Matt whoever you want! Whether it's realistic Matt (very friendly and nice) or the way a lot of us wish he was which was asshole and womanizer! Can't wait for the next update!

I'm liking this already, interested to see where it goes. Also, the end of the first chapter gave me a warm fuzzy, I'm actually re-watching The OC at the moment. :P
