Not sure why I waited so long to leave a comment, especially considering that I've been reading this story since the beginning. You made me laugh, cry and hope so thank you very much. I absolutely love your writing and the story itself was simply great. It was a great journey and you definitely kept me company when you updated and I had to work the night shift.

Just like the others, I loved both endings and I honestly can't wait to read the sequel <3

I loved both the endings and I have reasons to like both too! Ever since I started reading this when you first updated, I badly wanted Jimmy to recover and have his happy ending with Lauren. And you did give me what I wanted!

But when you started giving hints about Zacky's feelings towards Lauren, I wasn't really excited because she deserved to be with Jimmy :p
Then eventually when Lauren and Zack started supporting each other, I didn't mind if they ended up together.

So ultimately, I love both the endings!

So I've spent pretty much my entire day at work (business is slow) reading the alternate ending and that's definitely the ending I saw coming when I was reading. I love that Jimmy got a second chance in the ending you went with, but the alternate one was bitter-sweet. I'll definitely get into your Zacky story, next

Both endings were very good! I figured Zacky and Lauren would get together in the alternate ending! But in the first ending with Jimmy still alive, I can only imagine their struggle with the feelings.

Aww, I'm loving the ending you went with. I'll read the other one if I get bored at work today, or I'll read it tonight when I get home. And then check out your Zacky V story!! I should probably also make a start on the next chapter of my Syn Gates one, too.. ha

The alternate ending is closer to what I thought would happen. I loved it even though it made me sad to read :( I kind of think it fit with the story better, but I loved the original ending too because Jimmy is alive and well. I'm super sad that this story is over!!

Aww happy ending! For a while there I didn't think we'd get one of those! I've loved this story so much and can't wait for the sequel whenever it comes!

So I spent the last two days reading this after a recommendation of your work from a reader of my own fanfic (which is Broken Arrow, if you wanna read it). This is absolutely fucking incredible, I have laughed, I have cried, I have squealed with joy when Val announced she was pregnant, and when Jimmy and Lauren got engaged. I have slapped my laptop lid shut and broken down every time I thought Jimmy was gone, and then sighed with relief when he was okay. The fact you can stir emotions like that just proves you're an incredibly skilled writer. Cannot wait for the ending, and the alternate ending. And thank you for giving us a "What if?" scenario to one of the most painful losses in Metal History... xx

Sequel will always have to have drama, lots and lots of drama. Probably bringing Leana in, ex's are always fun and lots of drama.....

Oh yes! I'd love a sequel. Here's some of my ideas: Zacky still has feelings for Lauren and tries to fight them, but ends up wanting her more. The others having to remind him that she's taken and that it would ruin the band since it's a band rule that your bandmates' girlfriends and wives are off limits. Or...Zacky gets Lauren alone and instead of trying to tell her how he feels, he kisses her, she kisses back but then pushes him away when she realizes what she's done. After that she feels guilty and wonders whether to tell Jimmy or not. She ends up confessing to Val and Michelle and asks what she should do. Val says to tell Jimmy since couples should have no secrets, but Michelle says not to because it was just a kiss and is sure it wouldn't happen again.
