Baby Don't Cry

I give my heart to you.

Now, of course I was going to say yes to Brian. He was the man of my dreams and he had proposed in such a romantic way. He deserved a yes and nothing less. Even if it was already the second time he was doing it, it didn't matter. Because at that very moment, I would've said yes to anything he had asked me.

”Yes,” I nodded finally, ”I will.”

I watched as the smile on his face grew wider and soon I could feel the beautiful diamond ring on my finger. And let me tell you, it fit perfectly. It was like it was meant to be there.

I looked at it for a long time and when I finally looked at my boyfriend – or more like fiancé – I couldn't help but feel like the luckiest girl alive. I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned in to kiss him.

”I love you,” I murmured against his lips as he wrapped his arms around me and lifted me up from the ground. I wrapped my legs around his waist and we kissed like that for a long time. Then all of a sudden he started leaning back and soon we were rolling on the sand and making out like there was no tomorrow.

I got sand in my eyes but I didn't mind. I was engaged now. Brian and I were going to get married. Life couldn't get much better than that.

”I love you so much,” I told him.

I pulled my face away and looked straight into his eyes. He was laying on his back with his arms tightly around me while I laid on top of his body.

”And this is the best birthday ever,” I whispered. He gave me a smile.

”I love making you happy,” he told me.

”You're such a perfect man, Brian.”

”I love you, Soph. I love you.”

We were practically disgustingly cute. The whole moment was beyond sappy and mushy but I didn't mind. It was really cheesy – how he had proposed to me on our spot and how I had lost my virginity to him on that very same spot, only ten years earlier.

”Are you ready to go?” he asked me suddenly. I furrowed my eyebrows.

”Go where?”

”Did you think the night was over already?” he asked with a laugh.

”Well... Yeah...”

”Well, you were wrong. Let's go,” he said.

He pushed me up before getting up on his feet. He grabbed my hand and started pulling me back to the house.

We got into Brian's car and he drove us to some restaurant. As we walked in, I noticed all of the guys there sitting around a big table. There were Jimmy, Matt, Johnny and Zacky plus Johnny and Zacky's wives. Val and Michelle were missing but I was only glad about that.

Suddenly everybody cheered when they noticed us. My cheeks turned red because of all the sudden attention I was getting. I could feel the burn on my face as everybody looked at Brian and me.

”Well? How did it go, man?” Jimmy exclaimed with a big grin.

”She said yes!” Brian exclaimed and everybody cheered again.

I was told to show everybody my ring and I got to sit down only several minutes later. Once the situation had calmed down a bit, we ordered our food and started chatting with everybody. When our drinks arrived, Brian wanted to say something. The whole table got really quiet and we all turned to look at him.

”I just wanted to thank you guys for everything. You've been there for me from the beginning and I couldn't have done anything without you. And, Sophia, thank you for saying yes and making me the happiest man alive,” he said and winked at me.

I blushed and had to take a really big swig of my drink.

”And happy birthday, baby,” he said lastly and lifted up his glass.

”Happy birthday, Sophia!” Everybody lifted their glasses up and my god, I felt so loved. It had been such an amazing day and it just got better and better every second.

After everybody had finished eating, we all left. Apparently we were supposed to go to a bar but everybody seemed to be so tired after the boys' tour that they just wanted to go home. I didn't mind it because all I really wanted was to spend time with Brian. So we drove home and went straight to the bedroom.

”I think I'm going to take a bath,” I told Brian.

”Yeah. I'm going to bed, I'll fall asleep any second now,” he told me before kissing my cheek. I nodded and disappeared into the bathroom.

As I started taking my dress off, I remembered what was underneath it. My sexy underwear. Instead of going to the bathtub, I walked to the doorway.

”Hey, babe – ” I had a very seductive look on my face as I leaned my back against the doorway and tried to look sexy. But I quickly shut my mouth when I noticed that Brian was dead asleep on the bed. My face fell and I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. But I couldn't really blame Brian for wanting to sleep, I mean, he had been really tired. Plus I would've probably just embarrassed myself. I wasn't a very sexy person.

I quickly took off the stupid underwear and threw them on the floor before taking a very long and relaxing bath. And while resting in the warm water, all I could think about was the ring on my finger and how I was going to marry Brian.

After the bath, I changed into my pajamas and turned off the lights before getting in bed. I got under the already warm blanket and cuddled closer to Brian. I fell asleep with a smile on my face because 1) I got to finally sleep next to Brian after a whole month of sleeping alone, 2) he had proposed to me which had made the day perfect, 3) it was my birthday and 4) everything was perfect.

The next morning I woke up with a smile on my face. I looked to my side and saw Brian who was looking at me with a soft smile on his face. He reached closer to brush my hair back so he could really look at my face.

I wrapped my arms around him and rolled on top of his body, resting my cheek against his warm chest. I listened to his steady heartbeat for a moment. It was extremely relaxing.

”Brian?” I whispered and lifted my head up. I looked into his eyes.

”Yeah?”

”Don't freak out now,” I started quietly, ”But... Can we make a baby?”

I watched as his face fell and that was when I regretted ever saying anything about it. What if he didn't want to have children, ever? What if he only wanted a wife but no kids?

”Sophia...”

”I'm sorry,” I mumbled, ”I shouldn't have brought it up like that.”

”It's okay, really, I just wasn't expecting that. Do you want a baby? Is that what you want?”

”That's all I've ever wanted. Well, except for you, of course. But all I want in my life is to have a husband and kids,” I told him.

”I guess... I guess I have to give you what you want,” he said and flashed a smile.

”You don't have to if you don't want to, Brian.”

”But I do want to,” he murmured, ”You're going to be a perfect mother to our kids.”

”Really?”

”Yes, really.”

”I love you, Brian,” I whispered and leaned in to kiss him.

And then we tried to make a baby.

You made me cry!:(:(:(
I loved the story, right from the first chapter. Sofia and Brian's first time, them separating, Brian marrying Michelle, Jimmy having feelings for Sophia, Sophia falling for Brian, Brian getting a divorce and marrying Sophia, the couple losing their child, and finally separating.

Loved it! But ending was really sad:(
