I really hate moving around, I sure do hope that this is the last time. I continued to look out the car window. I am on my way to Huntington Beach. I must say I will miss San Francisco. Hours, more like years, later I arrived at my destination. All I want to know now is where is my secret stash of candy... Damn I left it in my suitcase. I guess I'll wait until I unpack.

“Steph we're here.” My mother said bringing me out of my daze.

“Oh, okay mom.” was all I said as I got out of the car to took at the new place I shall call home.

Homework really sucks, but I needed to get it done. I looked up from my homework and through my window I saw Johnny Seward. Johnny was just walking down the street to see my next door neighbor Matthew Sanders. See Matt has a band and they happen to practice in Matt's garage. Naturally Johnny goes in the garage and talks to them because he happens to play bass guitar, well actually he just goes over to talk down to their current bass player.

I know that you are all wondering how I know this, well, I sort of have a crush on little Johnny. Okay, I'm lying, I am neck deep in like with this kid; but who am I kidding? He would never go for me, seeing that he's a few years younger than I am. Everyone and their mothers would see me as a freak if they knew.

I sighed and turn my head away from the window and back to the work at hand, did I mention that I really dislike homework?

The door to my room creaked and my mom popped her head inside, "Sweetheart, remember that you have to show the new girls around at school tomorrow."

"Yeah Mom, I remember." No I didn't.

She smiled at me, "Isn't it kinda odd that there are four new girls coming at the same time?"

"If you think about it, I guess so."

She chuckled and closed my door, leaving me to my studies and thoughts about the duties that I had tomorrow.

Going back to work I mumbled, "I hope they're nice."
