Eternal Blossom

Making Contact

As Aiyana was getting ready to head to Black Dragon the next morning for an early appointment, she heard her text tone go off. She smiled to herself expecting it to be Rayne telling her not to be late, so she finished getting dressed before checking it.

Once decked in a pair of dark blue denim shorts and a Metallica t-shirt that she’d cut into an off the shoulder top, she slid into a pair of red converse to go with the red lettering on her shirt. The outfit was simple, but she had no other plans for the day than tattooing and grocery shopping.

Finally making it to her phone, she arched an eyebrow as she realized it was Brian. She quickly opened the message.

From Brian:
What are you cooking me for dinner?

To Brian:
Bitch, a ‘please’ would be nice. I think what you meant to say was, ‘My dear, wonderful, kind Aiyana, would you like to have dinner tonight? I’d be happy to help you cook.’

She smirked as she hit send.

From Brian:
Look, woman. I don’t cook. Like I said, what are you cooking me for dinner?

She rolled her eyes at his response, her temper beginning to flare at how much of a presumptuous asshole he was being.

To Brian:
Well then, when you find your manners, give me a call. Until then, I’m not interested in dinner.

Aiyana snatched up her purse and braided her hair on her way to her bike. Once on, she made her way to Black Dragon and stormed in through the back door. She was still pissed, and Rayne saw the temper as her cousin started setting up in the station next to her.

“Who put their foot in it,” she mused as she leaned back in her chair, arms crossed over her chest.

“Brian can suck my giant ball sack,” Aiyana grumbled as she tossed her phone to Rayne.

Rayne read through the short conversation and whistled lowly through her teeth.

Aiyana just shot a look at her cousin and took a deep breath to try to reign in her anger before walking out to grab her customer. She returned with him and got to work silently on his custom Tolkien piece.

The work helped her to calm down and 30 minutes into the piece she and the client were bantering playfully back and forth.

About 3 hours later, the piece was finished and the client paid her for her work, exclaiming how much he loved it. As she cleaned up, she heard a familiar voice, and she shot Rayne a look, “What did you do?”

Rayne just shrugged dismissively as she replied calmly, “I may have text him from my phone to let him know how pissed you were.”

Taking a deep breath, Aiyana grabbed her stuff and head for the back door and her bike, “Then you can let him know where he can shove it. I don’t need any fake apologies,” she shot over her shoulder.

As she got on her bike, she decided to head home. Some beach time was calling her name, and she had the perfect book in mind to read as she relaxed in the sand.

Once parked in the garage, she quickly made her way to her room, changing into her purple bikini. She grabbed The Odyssey and a towel, and was about out the back door when her text alert went off. She was surprised when it wasn’t Brian.

From Matt:
Hey sexy, what are you up to?

A smile spread across her face as she replied, walking out with her things under her arm.

To Matt:
I’m about to be laying on the beach behind my house with a good book. What about you?

She found her spot, and spread out her towel before lying down on her back. Taking a few minutes to relax, she closed her eyes and just soaked up some of the rays. As she felt herself calming, and her body warming, she began to actually relax.

After about 15 minutes of simply basking, she turned over and opened her book, holding herself up above it on her elbows. She had her feet pointed towards her house so that she could occasionally look up to watch the waves crash against the shore. Wishing she could actually surf, she chuckled to herself softly before turning her attention back to her book.

As she was back into a land created by Homer, she didn’t hear the footsteps approaching through the sand. A hand landing squarely on her right ass cheek in a rough manner caused her to squeal, and roll to the left. She came to her feet with her heart in her throat, wielding her book as if she was going to chunk it at her assailant.

Matt hit the sand laughing uproariously at her reaction, and her eyes fell into thin slits as she went back to her towel. She shook it out over him to get the sand off of it, and then sat back down on it once she had it spread out again.

He sputtered and shielded his face with his hands from the sand that came raining down on him, and then leaned over once she was seated. “Give me a kiss, gorgeous. I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“Yeah, I bet you didn’t,” she stated without believing him as she leaned over to press a kiss to his lips. His scent was a little different, but she assumed he’d just worn a different cologne today.

“I really didn’t. What are you reading that is so interesting you didn’t hear me walking up?”

“The Odyssey by Homer,” she replied, looking over at him to gauge his reaction.

His eyebrows went up in surprise a little, and he planted his feet in front of him in the sand, his knees bent so he could rest his arms on them. “And? What do you think so far?”

She put the book down and leaned back, placing her hands behind her as she did so to brace her body. “Oh, it’s the second time I’ve read it. “

“You really are full of surprises, gorgeous,” he stated as if it was a simple fact, and winked at her. “What do you think about going for a dip with me?” He wasn’t used to women that were intelligent as well, and he was delighted to find that she met him on so many levels.

“Sure,” she smiled and got up, dusting off the bottom of her bikini bottoms.

Matt stood and stepped up behind her, placing his hands on her waist. She just looked up at him and smiled, puckering her lips for a kiss. She wasn’t expecting him to come out here, but it was definitely improving her mood having him so close.

He smirked down at her and lifted her up onto his shoulder, laughing as she let out a squeal of surprise. He slapped her bottom with one hand a few times, earning a deep moan from her, and took off walking for the water.Once he reached it, he didn’t stop, and instead continued walking until he was waist deep. Slapping her ass once more time for good measure, he dropped her into the water.

When she came up and regained her feet, he smiled at her brightly. “I told you that you’d earned a spanking for teasing me.”

Her cheeks were burning red when she faced him, “That wasn’t fair, Matthew.”

“You enjoyed it,” he taunted as he stepped up so that they were toe to toe, and his arms could wrap around her.

Groaning at defeat, she rested her forehead on his chest, and wrapped her arms around his waist. He kissed the back of her head, and started running his hands lightly over her sides.

This time when he swept her off her feet to carry her bridal style in the water until the water was chest deep on him, she smiled, and moved her arms to wrap around his neck. “Why do you have to be so handsome?” She kissed the tip of his nose cutely.

“I don’t know about handsome, but if you don’t stop pressing those melons together like that we’re going to have a situation out here,” he replied, his voice gaining a husky timbre as his eyes traveled over her chest in the bikini.

“What if I don’t mind?” she replied playfully.

He groaned and moved his head forward, kissing her deeply. In response, one of her hands came to rest in the center of his chest, and she tilted her head to the side as their tongues swirled together in a heady dance.

When they both came up for air, he was the first one to speak as he dropped her legs slowly into the water, “it’s really hard to tell you no. Has anyone ever told you that?”

She giggled loudly, and wrapped her legs around his waist so that his erection was pressed against her core, causing both of them to moan lightly. “Maybe.” She looked around to see if anyone was nearby, and then sighed when she saw some children playing on the beach nearby. “Kids present.”

She removed herself from his grasp and swam a little ways off before looking at him over her shoulder, “to be continued.”

He laughed, and swam after her. They enjoyed themselves, swimming, splashing, and talking for about an hour before Aiyana let him know she was going to get a beer, inviting him back into the house with her.

Matt nodded, and told her he just had to go grab his clothes out of his truck, and that he would be there in a moment.

Aiyana walked up the beach, picking up her items and Matt’s cell and aviators from the sand on her way in. She wrapped the towel around herself, she left his things by the back door on the small table there, and walked through her house to grab a towel for Matt.

When she came out of her bathroom, she saw him standing at her back door checking his phone. He looked up, and smiled at her. She handed him the towel, and wandered into the kitchen to grab them both a beer.

She expected him to join her, and when he didn’t show up, she walked back into the living room. He was still typing away on that damn phone. She shook her head to herself, and wondered what was so important. Shrugging, she dropped the towel to the floor, looking over her shoulder to see if the wet item hitting the floor had gained her his attention.

When even that didn’t work, she closed her eyes, trying to regain her temper that was about to bloom again. Instead of saying something, she bit her tongue, picked up her towel, and head for the bathroom. He probably wouldn’t even notice if she took a shower, she rationalized to herself.

So, that’s exactly what she did. She turned the water on until it was steaming hot, stripping her bikini while she waited. Aiyana peeked her head out of the bathroom door to see if she heard him moving around so she could let him know she’d be out shortly.

Not hearing anything, she rolled her eyes and stepped into the shower. “Probably still on the phone,” she said softly to herself as she stepped into the spray of the water. She rested her forehead on the cold tile, and allowed the hot water to run over her body, letting it work it’s magic on her shoulders.

Matt whistled lowly as he stepped into the bathroom. He pulled the shower curtain back a little so that he could peek in. “Mind if I join you?”

She looked up at him, and grabbed her shampoo, only turning halfway to him. “Depends. What were you doing on the phone that was so important that even me dropping towel didn’t get a look?”

Matt’s cheeks dusted with color, as he’d been texting with Kristy. She’d been begging him to come over and satisfy her more carnal needs even though he had just left her. The dusting of his cheeks made her turn back around, waiting to hear what excuse he would come up with.

“Well, my ex was texting me. She wanted me to come over tonight,” he responded sheepishly. He figured honesty was probably the best policy, and he wasn’t much of a liar, anyways.

“And are you going to go?” Her voice came out even as she began to wash her hair. She was surprised how calm she sounded, because it was definitely not how she was feeling.

Matt sighed, and leaned against the door jam, crossing one of his ankles over the other.

“Would it bother you if I did?” He felt bad for asking, but they hadn’t defined what they were.

Aiyana took a deep breath and rinsed her hair out, trying to steel her nerves to answer him without her voice dripping with malice. “It might sting a little, but we aren’t anything official. I guess we would be able to sleep with other people since we aren’t…” her voice trailed off, and she was honestly hoping that he would be willing to change that. She wanted him in her bed, and not his ex’s.

He nodded, and turned around in her doorway, walking out of her bathroom.
