Beast and the Harlot

Getting out of the shower and throwing on some leggings, my chucks and a singlet with a hoody to hide my face I left for school seeing Zack out the front waiting for me as usual with Matt and Justin I breathed in deeply and walked straight past them going to my locker feeling some one follow me I jumped out of my skin when they wrapped their arms around my shoulder, I threw it off and ran into the girls bathroom going into a stall and riding out a panic attack.

Zacks POV
Seeing Maddie walking into school she walked straight past me and the guys I followed her wrapping my arm around her shoulder her body jerked away from me and she ran into the toilets
“Dude did you see that?” I asker Bri
“Yeah that was weird, what the hell did you do to her?”
“Nothing all I did was wrap my arms around her like I always do and she freaked”
“Maybe she is just really hungover she drank A LOT last night”
“Yeah maybe she just seems like she can hold her alcohol, Ill give her some space because here comes my girlfriend”
“Zack I need to talk to you, I want you to stop talking to Madeleine the stupid slut I know she wants you but like I told her last night you are mine so you will stop talking to her” She said kissing me on the lips and walked away.

Aidens POV
Walking into english I went to the back row and pulled my hood up so I didnt have to see anyone pulled out my book and opened to my book mark letting myself be lost in their instead of my shitty reality after what seemed hours I felt someone tap my elbow with theirs looking up and seeing those beautiful jade eyes which i loved so much looking at me
"You okay?" He asked me
"Im fine just cant you people just drop it" I said a little too loudly
"Miss worthy adjust your volume" Mr Bloom said
"Sorry sir" I muttered going back to my escape but feeling Zack looking at me every few minutes rolling my eyes as I heard the bell go off we went to music which I was dreading so instead I walked to the school nurse and was going to use my ribs to get out of school for the day just hoping that she wouldnt call my mother.

Leaving the school building I lit up one of my smokes letting it fill my lungs as I walked home hoping mum wouldnt be home wish she was dammit she hated when I skipped.
Walking through the front door she just looked at me, "Why are you home?" She asked me
"I dont feel well" I muttered
"Okay sweetie get some rest ill bring your meds up in a moment" She said

I went up to my room and shut the door i picked up a photo of Haylee and I was nurse and she was a witch tears slide down my cheeks as I kept looking at the photo i missed her so much I got up and looked in the mirror annoyed at what I saw I was never going to be as pretty as Allie I punched the mirror shards of glass ripped into my hands I grabbed a towel and skulled some vodka I stared down at the photo tears pouring from my eyes i hugged the photo close to me I missed her so much if she was here she would know what to do I felt so lost knowing that I couldn't tell anyone as he would hurt me again but not wanting him to get away with it sculling some more vodka my thoart, ribs, and arms hurting me I felt my bed go down looking up I saw Zack
"What are you doing here?" I asked him softly
"You weren't in school wondered where you ran off to" He replied gently putting his finger under my chin to make me look at him
"I know something is wrong and you need to tell me" He whispered in my ear
"I cant" whispering to him
"Why not?" He asked
"Just cant" I replied
"Also this needs to stop" He whispered as he grabbed my arms
"Needed to feel in control" I muttered
"You need to talk to me Aiden we all care for you but I know you have some pretty f*cked up issues but you need to let me in"
"Why?" I asked
"Because thats what friends are for" He whispered to me as his arm went around my waist
"I cant talk to you about this or the other stuff cant you just drop it" I said looking up at him
"At least let me get you to hospital, for your hand"
I nodded and let him take me to the one place I hated.

{Zacks POV at the hospital}

"Are you friends with Miss Worthy?" The doctor asked me
"Yeah I am"
"I;m afraid the injuries to her wrists aren't the only injuries Ive found has she recently had some sexual activity go wrong Ive found bruising to her neck, stomach, bruises on her upper thighs and 2 bruised ribs"
"Not that I know of how would she get those injuries"
"Rough sex or sexual assault"
"Can I see her?"
"Yes come on through she might tell you as she is refusing to talk to me"
"I doubt she will tell me"
"Worth a shot"
"Hey how you feeling?" I asked her
"I'm okay, she told you didn't she?"
"Yeah where did you get those injuries, she has to inform the police Aiden you need to tell us"
"He will hurt me again if I talk"
"Ill protect you so will the boys, look all I know after the fight with Allie you disappeared with Justin" I said watching her eyes dropping to her nails her body literally shaking when I mentioned Justin "it was him wasn't it?" I asked her
she just nodded
"He threatened to do it again if I told anyone" she whispered, my body was shaking with anger he is a dead man
"Miss Worthy I need you to consent to a sexual assault exam" The doctor spoke to her, she looked at her and nodded.

After Mads had been examined we went back to her house, seeing her mother wasn't home we went up to her room she sat down on her bed putting her hands into her head breathing slowly
"He wont hurt me will he?" She asked softly
"No he wont Ill protect you he wont even come near you" I replied getting on my knees in front of her forcing her to look at me
"Why didn't you tell me when it happened?"
"I thought you were pissed at me because of the fight with Allie"
"I was but only because you ran away before you talked to me about it"
"She started it I was just defending myself, how are you even with her you are so much better and she is just a bitch"
"I dont know we have been together for so long just guess we got so used to being together we have just stayed together but since you came to town my feelings towards her have changed and Im not sure I want to be with her anymore"
"Why have I changed your feelings towards her?"
"Because I think I like you" I whispered pressing my lips softly to hers I wrapped my arms around her neck pressing her closer to me as we made out but as soon as it started she was pushing me away her body shaking grabbing her hands trying to get her to stop freaking out.

"Hey its just me its okay he isnt here just breathe babe" I spoke softly to her watching her as she stopped shaking
"Thanks not sure how long thats going to go on for" She whispered as her door opened we both looked round seeing the the crew
"Are you okay?" Val asked
"No but I will be promise"
"What happened to you?" Matt asked
"Lets go down to the lounge room its a long story" She replied as we all walked downstairs.

Aiden's POV

“Sweetie what happened?” Val asked me again once we were all sitting in my living room I was curled up on the couch with Zack rubbing my back
“he ... he oh god how did I let that happen I fucking hate this year fuck you Haylee” I cried out feeling another attack coming on
“Please tell us we can help and who’s Haylee honey” Michelle begged
“No one can” I whispered
“Haylee is her best friend she lost her earlier this year its been a struggle for both of us since” I heard my mother say I didn’t even know she was home again after I got home from school she never brought my meds up I got up and wrapped myself in her arms
“Oh baby why couldn’t you just tell them”
“I can’t hurts too much” I whispered
“Yea maybe so but we can try, what happened when you were left with Justin”
“He forced himself” Karen said
“On You?”
I couldn't look at them, so I stared out the window and nodded.
“What are you going to do?” Lacey asked
“Shes already reported it she has to go to the police tomorrow" Zack told them my nails dug into his hand
Karen stood up and grabbed my hand and rubbed it
“Time to take them” She said, I grabbed the pills and water and swallowed them
“Let me see” I opened my mouth
“I hate when you make me take these”
“Well it’s the only way to help unless you want to go back to the ward, now girls and guys you are welcome to stay I have a date to get to and probably won’t be home until tomorrow”
“Enjoy yourself tell skip I said hi”
“Don’t call him that” she called out as she left the room
I sat back on the lounge and curled up the boys chose a movie I saw Jimmy sit in front of me the look on his face nearly killed me I joined him on the floor he wrapped his arm around my shoulder I lent my head on his shoulder and he kissed the top of my head
“My little Maddy I am so sorry I am the worst” He whispered he then pulled away
“don’t you dare blame yourself,” I said tears falling down my face he looked at me and we spent the rest of the day on the couch watching crappy movies and eating crappier food I fell asleep against Zack half way through one of the movies.
