“Your dad is going to kill me.” Matt says as I roll out of his bed wrapping the top sheet around my naked body. “He’s going to blame me for deflowering his princess.”
I can’t help but to chuckle before turning to look at Matt, smirking. “Are you seriously going to tell me the all powerful M Shadows is afraid of my dad? I didn’t think that was possible.”
Matt laughs and soon a smile appears on his lips showcasing his less than hardcore dimples. “If your dad wasn’t James Hetfield, I wouldn’t be scared. But your dad scares the piss out of me.”
“Please he’s as harmless as a fly.” I laugh as I slip on my black leggings from last night. “It’s Lars you have to worry about. Drummers can be some scary motherfuckers.” Matt just chuckles as I pull on my bra then my shirt. I look over my shoulder and see Matt slip on his boxers before coming over to me; wrapping his large tattooed arms around my waist.
“You regret last night?” He mumbles into my hair before kissing my neck. I just turn around in his arms and wrap my arms around his neck and peck his lips.
“I should be asking you that question. I’m not the one sleeping with Metallica’s frontman’s daughter.” I chuckle. “But to answer your question, I regret nothing. Last night was many years in the making.”
“Years in the making, huh?” He smirks. “Like how many?”
“Since Warped Tour 2001 I’ve thought about it.” I admit. “Come on, those growls and screams were really fucking sexy.” My laugh is cut off by Matt’s lips crashing onto mine. His hands fall from my waist onto my ass just as there is a knock on the door.
A groan escapes both of our lips as Matt pulls away muttering, “this better be important.” I let out a chuckle before disappearing into the bathroom to make myself a little more presentable.

“So what are you doing this summer?” Luna asks me as we watch Avenged Sevenfold’s soundcheck. “I honestly think you should just accept Matt’s offer to come on Ozzfest with us. I don’t want to see that boy sulking all summer.”
I laugh, “I’m taking a break from touring for a bit before I have to tour with Atreyu this fall.” I tell her. “If it wasn’t going on tour with Atreyu, I’d come on Ozzfest with you guys. All of you have grown on me these last couple years.”
“Some more than others.” She smirks before jerking her head to Matt. “Did you ever look back to that night at Chain Reaction and think you’d be here with Matt?”
“Not in the slightest.” I reply. “I honestly didn’t think I’d ever see him again after that night. But I’m glad I did. He’s something special.”
“How is James going to react to his baby falling in love with a musician?”
“I have no idea.” I frown. “I’m scared to tell him. He’s gonna want me to be happy but not like this. Touring can really ruin a relationship. He’s not going to want me to be heartbroken. He knows what goes on a tour bus when the wife or girlfriend aren’t around.”
“Matt’s not like that, you know what right?” Luna asks and it got me thinking. I honestly don’t know Matt aside from the random sightings over the last couple years and that the fact we hooked up last night. I know nothing about him other than he’s an amazing lead singer and a pretty good fuck.
“I don’t know that he’s not like that. I only know my experiences and my father’s. Matt is a mystery to me as well as a risk.”
“Sometimes you just gotta take that risk even if you get hurt.”
I sigh, “or just runaway.” I whisper to myself as I get up and walk away from the stage...
