Then Amanda heard her husband's voice in a soft caring tone that she had not heard in so long that she forgot that kind of affection even existed. He knelt in front of her and held her face gently in his hands and said tenderly. "It will happen, my love. I have a plan, but we must wait just a little longer. I can't leave her, I must make her look like the guilty party or she will take me for everything.
"I know." Lizzy said quietly. The they resumed kissing passionately, soon he they were undressing each other.
Amanda was frozen and shocked at the sight of her husband making love to another woman in a way that he had never made love to her. She started to shake as the weight of what she was witnessing hit her. Her anger started to rise, and she debated throwing the door open and letting them both know she had caught them in the act.
