Strength Of The World

After the diner, Peyton decided to go talk to her parents about moving in with Zack. Neither were surprised, because she was always with him anyway. Her mom helped her pack up her room with a few tears, and her dad helped Zack load all of her things into the back of her Jeep. "You know you always have a home here, Peanut." Her dad said, wrapping his daughter up in a hug and placing a kiss on top of her head. "And you better be good to her, Baker. I know where you live." He threatened, looking over at the green eyed man. "You got it, Dan. You know I'd never hurt our girl." Zack said sincerely. Once they got to Zack's house, he surprised her with her very own "girl room". He bought her a vanity table with a huge mirror so she could have a place to get ready, lots of storage for her makeup and hair products, some shelves for all her photo albums, and a huge shelf for her music with a huge speaker on top of it. "I know how much you love listening to music when you get ready." He shrugged, like it was no big deal that he did all of this for her. Her eyes were glistening with tears as she pulled him into a hug. "I love it so much." She whispered. "I love YOU so much." They kissed and hugged for a little while, until Peyton's excitement to get her room ready overwhelmed her. Once they got all of the bags and boxes inside, she turned on some music and got to work. She worked until about an hour before she had to meet the girls. She was dancing around and singing along to The Rolling Stones when she turned and noticed Zack in the doorway with a huge grin on his face. "What?" "Oh nothing. Just watching my girl." He smiled "But if you're planning on getting all dressed up tonight you might want to hurry, we've got to be at Matt and Val's in an hour." She rushed around the room, putting away the rest of her things and sat down at her vanity to do her makeup. She didn't put a ton of makeup on, just a little foundation, blush, and mascara. She left her hair in it's naturally wavy state, and decided to throw on a VU tshirt with a pair of skinny jeans and her gray Vans. Grabbing her purse and putting on a little chapstick, she walked downstairs to let Zack know she was ready. "Damn my girl is gorgeous!" He said, following her out the door to the car.

Once they got to Matt and Val's house, the guys all loaded up in the party bus Johnny had reserved and headed toward the bar. The girls decided to grab some dinner, and although they said they weren't drinking, they were all pretty tipsy from all the wine they drank before and during dinner. They were discussing whether they should go see a movie or find a place to do karaoke instead, and karaoke won by a landslide. Just as they were all getting into a cab, Leana's phone rang. "Hello James." She said, putting it on speaker. "Hey baaaaaaaybeee!" Jimmy slurred over the noise the rest of the guys were making in the background "Whatcha doing?" "Heading to karaoke with the girls." She said with a smile, knowing that Jimmy absolutely loved karaoke nights. All the girls knew at that moment that the guys would definitely be joining them for karaoke. "OH SHIT! KARAOKE! GUYS THEY'RE GOING TO KARAOKE! LET'S GO!" Jimmy shouted at his friends, who all agreed to go.

They all met up at the karaoke bar, and everyone took turns singing. Peyton and Brian had just finished up a pretty hilarious version of "Midnight Rider," forgetting half the words and making up stuff as they went along. "Wow. That was fucking terrible." Johnny said sarcastically. "Okay then let's see what you got Seward." Peyton challenged. Johnny grabbed Jimmy and they headed for the stage, deciding to sing "Baby Got Back," which made the entire bar erupt into laughter. Eventually everyone sang a few songs, and they ended the night with all the girls on the stage singing a very drunken version of "I Love Rock N Roll." Once they all paid their tabs they climbed into separate cabs and headed home.

A few few hours later Zack was woken up by screams. Peyton was screaming and thrashing around in her sleep. "Stop! No! No please stop!" She screamed, over and over. "Peyton! Peyton it's me! Baby wake up!" Zack said, shaking his girlfriend to try to wake her. Peyton's eyes shot open, and she looked at him, terrified. "Zack." She whispered, tears threatening to spill over. "Yeah babe. It's me. You're safe." He said reassuringly. "Zack you're okay. Thank god you're okay." She whispered, grabbing him by his shoulders and pulling g him to her. She squeezed him tightly and sobbed into his shoulder. "Thank god you're okay." She repeated. Zack held her until she had stopped crying, and then pulled away. "Baby are you okay?" "I'm fine. It was just a bad dream. I never want to have that dream again." She said sadly. "Will you just please hold me for the rest of the night?" Zack happily obliged, laying back down and holding his arm out for her. Peyton snuggled into his bare chest and wrapped her arm tightly around his torso. "Want to watch some tv?" "Yeah. Tv would be good." She sighed. They laid there for what seemed like hours, neither one of them moving or speaking, just watching tv. They stayed as close to each other as they possibly could, Peyton never loosening her grip around Zack, until they both finally fell asleep for the second time that night.
