"How much time does that amount to?" "You've participated well so you've been ordered to stay here in this cell for 6 months." I sighed.
"Do I at least get to tell my friends?" "I talked to my brother, Brian, you know him?" "He's my best friend." "He said he and the guys are visiting you every day."
"Well thanks." I smiled slightly. She grinned. "I'm also gonna see you every day. I'm also the counselor around here."
"Oh, fun, I get to talk to Ms Apple Jax about my problems." "I love the nicknames you give me." She laughed. I blushed. "It's kinda my thing." "You're in cell 25 with.....Fronzell Hickory."
"That's a name." I laughed. "Well here we are." "I guess I'll...see you around?" She smiled. "Do you wanna talk later at lunch?" I blushed harder. "I'd like that."
She smiled and walked away. I shut the cell and looked at the built black man looking deadly at me. "Hey, I'm James." "I'm Fronzell." "What are you here for?"
"Well, let's just say that the Wardens daughter, the lady you were talking with, doesn't exactly enjoy being taken on a date with a guy who does coke."
"I've done coke in the past." "Now I hate it. My wife, who lives in cell block 8, she got me off of it." "What's her name?" "Deandra."
"I was married...but she passed away a few years ago." "Sorry for your loss." "It's okay man. Which bunk is mine?"
"You can choose. I don't care which one I get. I sleep on the floor." "I'm taking the top then." I set my bag up there and heard the cell open. Mr. Gates walked in.
"Jimmy. As I live and breathe. Brian and Kai told me what happened." "I'm sorry, I just really got pissed." "I completely understand." He smiled. I shook his hand.
"I think Kai has a particular fondness for you, Jimmy." "Oh..." I blushed. "She can't keep her mouth shut about you." "Wow." "She's definitely happy to meet you. I think you guys would be absolutely perfect." "Thank you sir." I gulped. He winked and turned away. "It's almost lunch time. You have your chance."
