Almost Easy

Auden's POV

I was smiling super big when I got a new message it read:

Hey I was wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner tonight say around 6?

I freaked out and called Aimee immediately.
"Yeah?" she answered.
"MATT JUST ASKED ME TO DINNER!" I screamed into the phone.
"Damn girl. Did you text back?" she asked.
"Not yet." I asked.
"Well you better, and wear something sexy, I gotta get back to work love you babes bye!" Aimee said.
"Ok! Bye, love you!" I said as I hung up the phone.
I texted back:

Yeah I would love to go to dinner with you!
Ok I'll pick you up around 5:30

I texted him my address and did a happy dance up to my room.Walking to my room I went to my closet, looking at the dresses I have in there, I pulled out black dress that had sheer sleeves and it came up mid thigh, I laid it on my bed. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a red laced thong and bra. I went over to my vanity and turned on my curling iron, starting my make up. I went with a smoky eye and red lipstick. I gave myself soft curls. I looked at the clock and it read 4:30, I turned on some music on my Pandora and Unholy Confessions came on, I was dancing around. I grabbed my Louis Vuitton heels and slipped them on. 5:30 came and there was a knock on my front door, I opened it revealing a very stunning Matt. He was in a white button on shirt that was super tight around his muscles, black pants and dress shows.
I looked at him up and down, god he looked amazing.

"Holy shit Auden you look absolutely beautiful." Matt said whistling.
"Thanks!" I said blushing.
"Shall we?" he said
"We shall." I said grabbing my purse locking the door.
He put his hand on the small of my back walking me to his car. I felt butterflies the whole time, he was being such a gentleman. He opened the passenger door for me, I slide in and he closed it. I watched him walk over to the driver side and get in.
"I'm really glad you decided to come out to dinner with me." he said giving me his dimple smile, he started up the car and put the car in reverse and backed out of my drive way.
"I'm really glad I did to!" I said smiling at him.
"Damn you have a cute smile." he said turning on the radio. Metallica started playing. I was blushing and jamming out.
When we arrived at the restaurant, Matt got out and opened the door for me, when we walked to the door he opened it and let me walk in first. As we were walking in Matt put his hand on the small part of my back escorting me to our table. When we got to the table he pulled the seat out for me, pushing it back in when I sat down.

He ordered us the most expensive wine they had. I couldn't help myself , I just stared at him.
"What." he asked.
"Nothing" I said giggling,
"Auden tell me what is on your mind." He said taking a sip of wine.
"Do you really want to know?" I asked Matt.
"Yes, I didn't just bring you out to dinner to not figure you out." He said sweetly.
"Well.. lately I've been having nightmares about my brother, this morning I woke up from one and I looked like he was trying to tell me something but I couldn't make it out. So I woke up crying from it and went on a run. I thought it wouldn't happen because I had such a great night with you the other night and you actually made me forget that I was grieving." I said looking at his face.
"Auden I'm so sorry. It hurts me that I can't be there for you when you wake up from a nightmare." Matt said.
"Really?" I question.
"Yeah, you actually made me forget that I broke up with Valary. I craved to know more about you. I can't stop staring at you. You're so beautiful and smart. I want to know you better and build a life with you. I know this is all soon but you give me a feeling that no one has." Matt said.
"Matt.." I said. Grabbing his hands and looking into his eyes. "I would love to have you in my life. When you're around I feel safe, I forget all my worries."
He gave me his dimple smile and said, "let's get out of here."
We didn't even eat, he just left money on the table told the waiter to keep the change and took my hand we walked out.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"It's a surprise." he said. "Why?"
"Well not to complain but my feet kinda hurt." I said.
"Take off your heels and jump on my back." He said stopping in his track.
I did as I was told, feeling his hold on to ankles I felt electric all over. I put my mouth next to his ear and said, "Maybe if your lucky you can see what is under this dress."
"Oh yeah?" He said grinning.
"Yup." I said giggling.

When we arrived at our destination I realized we were at the beach, it was peaceful. I jumped down from Matt's back and walked to the sand leaving him behind. I just looked at the waves, I felt muscular arms snake around my waist.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" I asked.
"What you or the view?" He said.
"The view silly." I said.
"Yeah but not as beautiful as you." He said kissing my neck.
"Let's go back to my house." I said turning to look at him.
"Whatever you want princess." He said soft and sweetly.

I jumped back on this back and we made the journey back to his car to head home. As we were walking all I could think of is how heavenly he was towards me. He understood my pain and actually wanted to help me through it. Little did he know that I was falling in love with him.
