Ruby's POV

Julia was over again, and I was currently sitting around watching her write a new song with McKenna. They'd made so much progress in just a couple of days, it was impressive. Arin had also joined in today, drumming away on a little practice pad he used in between lessons with Jimmy.

"Words get distorted beyond comprehension. So let me give you an explanation as to what really happened;
We didn't see eye to eye on what we did and didn't like, and I was pushed to the outside, I couldn't win the fight." Julia sang.

McKenna joined in on the chorus; "What you see, is what I choose to show you. And what you believe, is what people told you. And I do believe the truth will show through. And I do believe that I will pull through."

"Arin." Julia addressed her Boyfriend. "Throw in a little something there."

Arin played a little drum fill, and Julia sang again.

"Now, I won't lie, I've done some shitty things. I know I'm not perfect, I'm no Saint in all of this.
But my heart was in the right place, I only wanted what was best. For that which we created, together, now it's faded."

"And then just run that Chorus again." Julia stated. "And Mac, maybe play an Octave higher?"

The girls sang together once more; "What you see, is what I choose to show you. And what you believe is what people told you. And I do believe the truth will show through. And I do believe that I will pull through."

"You're sounding pretty tight." I commented.
"Thank you." Julia grinned. "I've been writing like crazy since the other day."
"That's great!" I smiled.
"Thank you sooo much, honestly." she gushed. "I wouldn't have bounced back this fast if not for your encouragement."
"And I wouldn't finally actually be in a band." McKenna giggled.
"It's about time you followed in your brother's footsteps." I teased.
"More like Zacky's, really, I'm just playing Rhythm."
"We could still duel solos." Julia suggested. "I'd love that."
"That's actually not a bad idea." Arin agreed.
"But there's still the issue of us not having a Bass player." McKenna mentioned.
"I could put up another ad on Craiglist?" said Julia. "It's how I formed Cherri Bomb?"
"Do it." I encouraged. "The sooner you guys get out there and kick some ass, the sooner you can show everyone why Julia Pierce is here to stay."
"And why Mac is coming out to play!" McKenna rhymed.
"That was fucking. Terrible." Julia cringed.
"I say we celebrate." I clapped my hands together. "Mini Gates, call a few of your friends and invite them over, I think it's about time we had that little party I promised you."
"Oh yeah." McKenna smirked. "Brian's not here."
"Let's fuck this place up!" Julia cried, throwing her arms into the air.
"I know just how to do it." I winked. "Leave it all to me."

I walked upstairs to my room and picked up my phone on the nightstand beside my bed, dialing the one person whom I knew could make this one hell of a Party.

"Hello?"
"Bam." I addressed him. "How quickly can you pull together a few kegs of Beer, maybe some Cider?"

Bam didn't just acquire a few Kegs, he'd turned Brian's living room into a goddamn nightclub. He'd brought Raab Himself, Brandon DiCamillo and Rake Yohn of the CKY Crew with him. Ryan Dunn, Johnny Knoxville and Wee Man had shown up not long after.

Strobe lights pierced the air around the living room, which was thick with artificial smoke, as Johnny manned the turn tables behind a massive DJ Booth they'd acquired. Wee Man - A plastic fireman helmet upon his head - was on the dancefloor with Jordan, whom I'd invited, and Allison, whom I hadn't expected to see again after she'd slept with Brian at my welcome home party.

Outside in the pool, a huge inflatable jungle gym floated upon the surface of the water as Ryan, Bam and Raab played. I laughed as Bam pushed Raab down the slide, causing him to land with a massive splash in the pool. All the while, Rake chilled beside the pool on one of the lounge chairs, nursing a fruity cocktail, complete with tiny umbrella.

"Ruby!" McKenna called, floating nearby in a giant inflatable Unicorn ring. "You are officially the coolest fucking person I know!"
"Thank Bam!" I grinned, pointing at Brian's doppelganger at the top of the slide. "He pulled this shit together."
"Yeah!" Bam yelled, jumping into the air before he landed and slid into the pool, landing with a massive splash beside McKenna. "Where's my thank you?" he teased, grabbing hold of her unicorn ring and flipping it, sending McKenna under the water.
She broke the surface a moment later. "You're a friggin jerk!" she laughed, splashing him.
"This party would be nothin' without me, be grateful!" he snapped, playfully hitting her with a pool noodle.

I rolled my eyes and went back inside, where Julia and Arin were jumping around and laughing as they badly rapped along to the song Johnny was spinning at present. A few metres away, Jordan and Allison's hands were connected as they danced.

"I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums, oh what a shame that you came here with someone, so while you're here in my arms, let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young."

One of my absolute favourite party jams was currently playing, a remix, mind, but I couldn't help but join in on the fun. Missy, Bam's Wife, came toward me with a couple of shots and I leaned backward as she fed one to me, immediately guzzling the cup of Cider I was carrying to wash it down. Missy and I began to dance together, maybe a little too close, but I was drunk, so all my cares had gone out of the window. Missy was hot, no regrets.

Bam came up behind us, wrapping an arm around each of our shoulders. "Make out!" he yelled over the music.

I looked at Missy, and she looked back at me. I shrugged and pulled her face to mine. I'd never kissed a girl before; it felt kind of awesome. Missy went in for a little tongue and I let her, her fingers weaving into my hair as I grabbed her ass. Bam cheered and wrapped his arms around her as she pulled away, smothering her in his own heated kiss.

It was makeout time for everyone, apparently. Julia and Arin were going at it, maybe a little too graphically for their age, but I let it slide. A few feet away, curled up on the couch, Jordan and Allison embraced one another as he kissed her tenderly. It brought a smile to my face; Jordan was a good guy, he deserved a little happiness after Liza.

I couldn't even bring myself to hate Allison, she seemed like a good kid. She had just been ensnared by Brian's charm. I'd fallen victim to it as well, so I knew all too well just how hard it was to resist. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and I spun around, coming face to face with Julia;

"Guess what?!" she shouted.
"What?"
"Allison's gonna join the band!" she informed me. "She plays Bass!"
I squealed and wrapped Julia up in a tight hug. "I told you things would work out!"

"Oh my goddd." Julia moaned through a mouthful of pizza. "This is so fucking good!"
"Best pre-hangover food." I agreed, tearing into my own slice.

It was 3am and the party had broken up an hour or two ago, mostly as the alcohol had run dry and the cops had come by to complain about the noise. Bam and his buddies had cleared out pretty soon after that, promising to come by in the afternoon and clean the place up. They'd fucking better follow through, Brian would slaughter me if he came home to this mess.

"So!" Julia cried, pointing at me. "Tell me what fucking went down in Vegas, I need to know!"
"Oh god." I groaned. "Mini Gates, what'd you fucking tell her?"
"I just mentioned Jimmy and the White Tiger-"
"And you skinny dipping at the Bellagio." Julia sniggered. "Rebel."
"I regret nothing." I smirked, repeating exactly what Zacky had said when Matt had bailed us out. "That's not all that happened, though..."
"YOU FUCKED BRIAN!" Julia screamed. "I KNEW IT!"
"Julia!" I scolded her. "Volume!"
"I knew it." she repeated, smirking at me. "How was he?"
Arin slapped her arm.
"Oh don't be so jealous." Julia laughed. "Whose dick am I sucking?"
"Ew!" I cried. "You're a baby!"
"I'm almost Sixteen." Julia snorted.
"Fucking early bloomers." I rolled my eyes.
"I don't really wanna know." McKenna cringed. "He's my brother, remember?"
"Just tell us, was it good?" Julia pushed.
I huffed and rolled my eyes. "Yes."
"Does he have a big dick?" she wiggled her eyebrows.
"Julia!" it was McKenna that scolded her this time.
I smirked and winked at Julia.
"Knew it." she grinned, reaching for another slice of pizza. "You gonna fuck him again?"
"Why are you so interested?" I chuckled.
"Because he's Synyster Gates!" Julia laughed.
"I'm feeling so fucking uncomfortable right now..." Arin grumbled.
"You and Me both." McKenna agreed.
"And to answer your question; I don't know." I stated. "It hasn't exactly been easy since we got home."
"Oh..." Julia's face fell. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay..." I licked my lips, staring at my hands.
"You falling for him?" she asked.
"She's gone." McKenna sniggered, trying to lighten the mood. "You should have seen her swooning over him on TV today."
"Aww." Julia teased.
"Shut up." I cringed.
"I basically had to mop her drool off the floor." McKenna teased.
"I wasn't that bad!" I snapped.
"Yes you were! You were all-" she leaned forward, her arms limp at her sides and pulling a dopey face.
"Was not!" I growled, throwing a nearby empty cup at her.
Julia began to chant; "RUBY AND BRIAN, SITTIN' IN A TREE, F.U.C.K.I.N.G!"
"Bitches..." I scowled, drinking what was left of my last Cider...

Notes

This is filler, but I wanted to do this all along. I tried to make it fun filler, at least.
I've added Jordan and Bam into the character profiles, since they seem to be becoming re-occurring characters, now.
