Broken Arrow

Welcome To Bat Country

My bedroom light was switched on and my covers yanked back as Brian pounced on me. "Wake up!"
"Ergh, is it morning already?" I groaned.
"Yes, and there's breakfast waiting downstairs, so don't be a Grumple." He teased, tugging at my arm. "C'mon."

I rubbed my eyes as he pulled me up from the bed and led me downstairs. I could smell bacon instantly, wafting through the room from a rather appetizing breakfast array. Brian had gone all out; pancakes, bacon, sausages, eggs; both scrambled and fried, and a tall jug full of orange juice.

"Shit Bri." I chuckled. "Someone was in a good mood this morning."
"Figured I'd do something nice for you." He grinned. "When was the last time a man made you breakfast?"
"Oh I see how it is." I scoffed. "Just tryna get in my pants, huh?"
"Why?" He smirked. "Is it working?"
"Don't push your luck." I scowled, taking a seat and gathering food onto my plate.
"I'm joking."
"Sure." I said, rolling my eyes. "It's hard to tell sometimes, especially after that little stunt you pulled yesterday."
"What stunt?" He asked, faking innocence.
"Confronting me in the kitchen, practically begging me to kiss you."
"I very clearly remember only saying "Make Me" in response to you telling me to shut up." He smirked. "Any other impression you might have gotten, would be sorely mistaken."
"You are so full of shit, Brian." I sniggered.
He opened his mouth to retaliate, but was distracted when Johnny and McKenna descended the stairs into the main room.
"Vegas!" Johnny cried, throwing his arms up in the air. "All ready for our little trip to Sin City?" He asked, nudging my shoulder.
"As soon as I get some food into me." I spoke through a mouthful of scrambled eggs.
"And I'm gonna be stuck here in Huntington with Mom and Dad while you guys are off in Vegas for a week." She groaned, slumping down into the stool next to mine. "It's not fair." She sighed, before noticing the extravagant breakfast Brian had prepared. "Shit bro." McKenna laughed. "What's got you in such a good mood?"
"What? I can't do something nice without a reason?" Brian scoffed.
"You never cook." McKenna stated. "You usually wake me up and make me cook for you."
"Coffee?" He asked me, ignoring her.
"Sure."

He turned and set the kettle to boil, and I couldn't help but notice his ass. He wore only tight blue jeans and his long black hair was its usual tousled mess. McKenna sniggered from beside me, having followed my gaze and figured it out. I shot her a death glare, and she quickly silenced herself. I sucked in a deep breath as I watched the muscles in Brian's back shift and move as he poured the water into my mug.

It's just the bare skin, it's been awhile since you've had sexual contact with anyone, it's lust, nothing more...

I shook myself out of my thoughts as Brian set my Coffee down in front of me. He caught my gaze and smiled warmly, and I instantly felt my mind and body calm down. It was just Brian, my Best Friend, the person who would move heaven and hell for me, and always look out for me.

Like Best Friends should...

"A few times I've been around that track, so it's not just gonna happen like that, 'cause I ain't no hollaback girl, I ain't no hollaback girl, A few times I've been around that track, so it's not just gonna happen like that, 'cause I ain't no hollaback girl, I ain't no hollaback girl!" I sang in Brian's face.
"Fuck off!" He laughed, shoving me away. "I'm tryna drive here!"

We sped down the highway in Brian's rental; a 1970 Dodge Challenger with a shining black paintjob. Where Brian had gotten the car on such short notice was beyond me, but it was a beautiful car. While I didn't know much about cars myself, I loved classic muscle cars.

"Since when do you listen to shit like this anyway?"
"Since I lived in a house where it was nothing but parties all day every day and this was played quite frequently." I laughed.
"Well, it's fucking horrible." He leaned forward and ejected the disk. "If you're gonna blast music in my car, at least make it fucking good." He opened the glove box and pulled out an old Poison album. "Nothing But A Good Time" began to play.
"I thought you said good?" I quirked an eyebrow.
"Hey! It's good road music!" He retaliated. "And besides." He continued, turning up the volume. "Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts her cake hole."
"You're an asshole." I chuckled, but was soon drowned out by the music.
"Sorry!" Brian called out. "I can't hear you! The music's too loud!"

"Not a dime, I can't pay my rent, I can barely make it through the week, Saturday night I'd like to make my girl, but right now I can't make ends meet, I'm always working slaving every day, gotta get away from that same old same old, I need a chance just to get away, If you could hear me think this is what I'd say;

Don't need nothin' but a good time, how can I resist? Ain't looking for nothin' but a good time, and it don't get better than this..."

"Wow..." I breathed, taking in the breathtaking sights of Las Vegas, Nevada.

All around me were neon lights, fake volcanos, a river with gondolas mimicking the setting of Venice. The streets were littered with beautiful women wearing the finest jewels money could buy, clinging to the arms of handsome men in suits. I watched as they paid the Valet and disappeared into various casino's.

"Welcome to Bat Country." Brian chuckled, amused by reaction to the city. "And this would be where we're staying."
"Oh no fucking way." I grinned, recognizing the famous Hard Rock Hotel.
"Yes fucking way, now get your bitch ass out of the car." He sniggered.

Brian paid the Valet, and hotel employees collected our belongings from the trunk. A few glam'ed up women stood outside the entrance to the hotel, all fishnet stockings, stiletto heels, short skirts and glossy hair extensions. They were undoubtfully hookers. One of them, the blonde, batted her long, glued on eyelashes and flashed a pearly smile Brian's way.

"We're definitely not in Kansas anymore." I sighed.
"Ahh, I love the Vegas." Brian grinned.
"You would." I said, rolling my eyes...

The guys had all gotten their separate rooms with their ladies. Johnny however, took the spare bedroom in mine and Brian's suite, which he had insisted I share with him. I hadn't understood why until he opened the door.

Insane was an understatement.

A flat screen in a cabinet surrounded by artistic decor sat opposite a couch big enough to seat at least twelve in the living room. The room next door contained a pool table with red felt, the balls all neatly arranged in their little black triangle, the que sticks hanging on a rack on the wall. The kitchen and dining area made up the next room.

Pacing back through the suite, I found a darkened room beyond the living room and felt around for the switch, which was a dimmer switch, and turned up the light, revealing the room to house a gigantic spa. But nothing topped the single lane bowling alley, which lined the entire length of the right side of the suite opposite all the other rooms.

"Holy shit dude!" I exclaimed. "This place is amazing!!"
"I thought you'd like it." Brian grinned.
"Like is an understatement." I laughed.
"Hey guys, I'm gonna go set my bags down and call McKenna, and probably turn in early." Johnny said, wheeling his suitcase through to the bedrooms.
"Really man? We just got here!" Brian said in disbelief.
"I'm tired, dude, your sister kept me up all ni-"
"That's enough!" He cut Johnny off, raising a hand to silence him. "Go."
"Night guys." Johnny chuckled, and disappeared into his room.

"Wait." I said after Johnny had left the room. "There's only two bedrooms."
"It's not like we haven't shared a bed before." Brian scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"Hey! I'm not complaining!" I defended. "It's just, ya know, Vegas, figured you'd want your own room."
"Shut up." He sniggered. "If I hook up with anyone, I'll go to their suite."
"Yeah, IF being the objective." I teased.
"Fuck you!" He snorted, grabbing me in a headlock and grinding his fist against my skull, messing up my hair.
"I'm sorry!" I laughed.
He released me. "So, it's your first time in Vegas, wanna go have a little fun?"
"Sure." I grinned. "Just let me go whore myself up." I chuckled.

Our bedroom had a classy red, white and black color scheme, the doors leading out of the room painted up like playing cards. I laid out my clothes for the evening, grabbed my toiletries bag and headed into the bathroom to shower...
