The Daughter of Zacky Vengeace

I woke up the next day to someone shaking me. "Sofie wake up," they said softly. I looked up and saw my dad. "Come on get up you still gotta pack and get ready then we have to get to the airport," he said. I remembered why and started crying. "Shh baby it's ok," he said as he sat down next to me and held me close. He rocked us back and forth and ran his hands through my hair. "What time is it?" I asked. "10am. Our flight leaves at 3 so we need to leave at 1," he answered. I nodded and he wiped away my tears. "The guys and Jj decided they're coming with us so I already woke them up and they went home to get their stuff. They should be back soon," he said and I nodded. "How long are we staying?" I asked. "Well we'll head out today and leave Bloomington on the 15th," he answered. "Ok," I said. I stood up and my dad stood up. He pulled me into his arms and I slid mine around his waist. "I love you," he said. "I love you too," I said quietly. We pulled away and he left. I went to my closet and walked inside. I pulled out a suitcase and laid it on my bed. I put an outfit for tomorrow in it then an outfit for the day after. I went to my ensuite bathroom and took my hair down from its braids. I left my hair curly and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my hairbrush, travel case that held my toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, and floss, my makeup bag, my straightener, and my bag that held jewelry. I put it all in my suitcase then zipped it. I put my phone charger in the front pocket then pulled on a Bon Jovi muscle shirt. I put on deodorant then pulled on my black Avenged Sevenfold hoodie that had purple deathbats on it. I sprayed on vanilla perfume and slipped on some vans. I unzipped one of the front pockets on my suitcase and put my perfume and deodorant in it. I slid my sidekick in my pocket and grabbed my suitcase. I wheeled it out of my room and to the staircase. I was too tired to carry it down so I sat it down at the top of the stairs. "Look out below!" I called as I shoved the cause down the stairs. It bounced down the stairs and finally fell off at the end, hitting Johnny who was standing in front of the stairs. He turned around and looked down at my suitcase then looked up at me. "Sorry," I said, worried he'd be mad. My worries vanished when he started laughing. "It's all good," he said. I smiled lightly and walked down the stairs. I picked up my suitcase and carried it over to the door. I sat it down and looked at my dad. I walked over to him and stood in front of him. "Are you ok?" I asked looking up at him. "I should he asking you that," he said. "But I can still ask you that. You loved her too dad. You all did," I said. "All the memories are coming back," my dad said and all the guys agreed. I hugged my dad and he hugged me back. The guys and Jj came over and we ended up in a group hug. We hugged for a few minutes then we heard a honk. "That's the cabs," my dad said. We all nodded and and pulled away. We grabbed our bags and walked outside. My dad locked the door and we decided that me, my dad, Brian and Johnny were going in one cab while Matt, Jj, and Jimmy went in the other. We put our bags in the back and got in. Brian was sitting between my dad and Johnny while I was on his lap. "Where to?" The driver asked. "LAX," my dad replied. I leaned back against Brian and he wrapped his arm around me. "I wish we weren't doing this," I said quietly. "I know I wish we weren't either but if this didn't happened I might not have ever known about you," my dad said. "I know I just wish she was here. I wish she could see us and be here with us," I said as tears fell down my face. "I know baby girl I know," he whispered. "Sofie," Brian said softly and I looked up at him. He put his hands on my cheeks and rubbed them with his thumbs. "Your mom's always with you in your heart and I'm sure she loved you. Don't ever forget that," he said while looking down at me. I nodded as more tears fell. He wiped them away and kissed my forehead. "I love you," he murmured against my forehead. "I love you too," I said. He left go of my face and I laid my head against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and held me close. I closed my eyes as I fell asleep. I felt someone shaking me and groaned. "Sofe wake up," someone whispered in my ear. I opened my eyes and saw Brian. "Hey we're here," he said. I looked out the window as the cab driver pulled into the airport. He pulled up in front of the doors and we got out. My dad paid while Johnny, Brian, and I grabbed the bags. My dad walked to the back of the cab and grabbed his suitcase. He shut the trunk and we walked inside the airport with the other guys and Jj. We went through airport security and checked our bags and all that then sat and waited for our flight to be called. Once it was we showed our tickets then boarded the plane. Since our suitcases were too big to fit in the overhead compartments and we didn't have any carry on bags we just sat down. It was Brian by the window, me in the middle and my dad in the isle seat. Jj and Matt were across from us with Matt in the middle, Jj in the isle, and some random person by the window, and Jimmy and Johnny were behind us with Johnny by the window, Jimmy in the middle, and a stranger in the isle seat. "I wish I was drunk right now," I mumbled. "Not too drunk or they'd offload you," Johnny said from behind me and I giggled. He smiled and Brian wrapped his arm around me. I curled into his side and waited for the plane to take off. Once it did I closed my eyes and fell asleep again. "Sofie we're here," someone said while shaking me. I looked up and saw my dad. I undid my seatbelt then stood up. I stretched and we exited the plane. We went through the terminal and into Indianapolis airport. We went through baggage claim and got our suitcases then went through security again. Once we were done we went to the rental car place and my dad rented a Yukon XL. Once he had the keys we got the car and put our bags in the trunk. My dad got in the driver's seat while Jimmy got in the passenger seat. I climbed in the back and scooted over to the middle. Brian got in behind my dad and Johnny got in behind Jimmy then Matt and Jj climbed in the very back. I leaned over on Brian and he wrapped his arm around me. I laid my head on his chest and he stroked my hair softly. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. **Zacky's P.O.V.** I looked in the review mirror to see Sofia leaning against Brian with her eyes closed. "She asleep?" I asked. "Yeah," Brian answered. "She's been sleeping a lot today," he said. "Yeah I noticed that. I don't know if it's cause she wears herself out by crying, she sleeps to forget she cried or why she cried or she's trying to forget that all of this is happening," I said. "Maybe all three," Johnny said. "Yeah I just wish I could take away all her pain," I said. "We all do man but all we can do is be there for her," Brian said. I sighed and nodded. I drove until I got to Bloomington then looked in the rear view mirror at Jj. "Jj where are we going?" I asked. She leaned forward and told me the directions to a hotel. I nodded and went the way she told me. Not long later we pulled up outside the Holiday Inn Express. I parked and got out. Brian got out and I slid in the seat where he was. "Sofie sweetie wake up," I said as I gently shook her. She groaned and opened her eyes. "Mmm where are we?" She asked. "We're at the hotel," I answered and she looked out the window. She nodded and we climbed out. "Jesus it's fucking cold here," Jimmy said. "Well yeah Jim it's December and Bloomington actually has a winter," Jj said. We all got our bags from the back and went inside the lobby. The warm air greeted us and we all sighed in relief. The lobby was decorated with little fake Christmas trees and wreaths, and other ornaments. I walked up to the desk and asked for two rooms, one of them with two beds for checkout on the 15. The receptionist told me the total and I paid her. After I had the room keys, I moved out of the way then the guys got their rooms. We all got our own rooms except Jj and Sofie were sharing. I handed the girls each a room key and we got on the elevator. We rode it up to the 4th floor then got off. I was in room 407, the girls in 408, Matt in 409, Jimmy across from me in 422, Johnny across from the girls in 423, and Brian across from Matt in 424. We all went in our rooms and put our bags in there then met up in the girls room. Sofie was laying on one bed, Jj on the other. I sat down one one side of Sofie as Brian sat on the other. Jimmy laid long ways on the end of the bed as Matt and Johnny sat down on Jj's bed. I pulled Sofia into my arms and hugged her tightly. She wrapped her arms around me and laid her head on my chest. "Sofe," I said quietly and she looked up at me. "I know tomorrow's gonna be hard for you but we're all here for you ok," I said. She nodded and buried her face in my chest. I rubbed her back softly and stroked her hair. I sat there rubbing her back and playing with her hair for a while as everyone else talked quietly. After a while I looked down and saw Sofie was asleep. "You motherfucker!!" Jimmy suddenly yelled. "Jimmy shh!!!" I whispered yelled while pointing at Sofie. "Oh sorry," he whispered. "Come on let's go back to our rooms and let Sofie sleep," Matt said. We all nodded and the guys hugged Jj. I slowly got up, careful not to wake Sofia then covered her up. "Goodnight I love you," I whispered and kissed her forehead. I hugged Jj then went back to my room. I sighed and pulled off my shirt. I pulled off my pants then pulled on some basketball shorts. I laid down on my bed and covered up. I turned off the lamp then closed my eyes. I slowly fell asleep, dreading tomorrow.
